Excellent service from Solar guide, able to find details of suitability of property for solar panels. Easy to complete forms and very pleased to quickly organise quotations. Now have solar panels installed with Green shoot renewables and very satisfied to be generating my own solar energy.

Very informative on how to get the best from solar panels. Salesman did not push to make a sale, better to give the information and allow me to make the decision in my own time.

The lady at solar guide was very helpful, and explained what the process was. A couple of days later I had an email saying they were struggling to get anyone and that they had passed my details to a trusted partner. I'm not happy about that for a start. If they can't find anyone, why should someone else be able to?

I then had a call from a company. We stalled at the point where I said the property was in an AONB. They wanted me to have already got approval for panels. I said that we wouldn't be doing that until we knew that a) the roof was suitable and b) we knew what we would be applying for. I explained that lots of properties around us had panels and that there wasn't likely to be a problem. That wasn't good enough for them so we reached stalemate and gave up. I finished by asking them to remove my details from my system.
I shall revert to contacting local companies directly.

I used solar guide to request quotes for a solar PV + battery installation on my roof. The website was easy to use, installation offers came in quickly and the solar guide team got in touch almost instantaneously to verify details about my request.
All in all very good service. (I ended up choosing one of the installers registered to solar guide - see my other reviews.)

Absolute waste of time. Contacted them, they verified me then emailed they would get me up to three suppliers of solar PV with battery. Then they emailed one and two days later to say they were struggling to find any. Since then I have heard nothing. That was 4 weeks ago. Meanwhile I have had loads of rubbish calls (over 20) from people leaving no messages. Any decent company would leave one, explaining why they were ringing.
Fortunately I have found suppliers myself.

Solar Guide gave me a lot of information about all the aspects of PV systems and provided 3 companies to quote for installation. I used one of the recommended companies and their quotation was competitive. The whole process couldn't have been simpler.

They got us 3 quotes as specified and I also got some independent quotes. So far so good, haven't had the panels installed yet as we're waiting for the main survey to be done.

Very quick at getting quotes, and the PV + Car Charger installer they helped us contact was excellent

Solar guide were prompt in replying to me but up to this time I only had one company contact me to arrange a survey but they have not got back to me to arrange a date.

The service was easy to use and I was contacted very quickly by the first supplier which I eventually contracted with, they quoted for a system which was good but I wanted more panels which was arranged very easily.

No one bothered to make contact absolutely a total waste of my time
Phoned up company & ask why no one has made contact & was told the local business are probably busy
Well its now 22 Dec (2 months later) & nothing.........
I got more chance of santa making contact

Emails said 'found 1', 'found 2' 'found 3' quotes but I only got one company contacting me.
The single quote I got seems OK but it is had to know without some comparison from other companies.
I could have applied directly to the company who quoted as it is a relatively local one and I had looked them already!

Really glad i found solar guide. I got two quotes, both of which were better than those i had found through simple 'google' searches. We went ahead, got the panels fitted within a couple weeks and are already enjoying the benefits of solar.

I am so happy that I found Solar Guide as I was being targeted and nearly scammed by solar company. I lost a faith and I nearly believed that 18k price for PV its a bargain. I couldn't be more wrong!! Solar guide found for me 3 best and reliable companies and we could choose what is best for us - ECH group!

like several other companies claiming to do storage batteries etc absolutely useless if noone follows through and contacts the customer nor gives a written quote
