Not best service
Ordered our worktops which started out very well with delivery on agreed date . Unfortunately was told upstands got damaged and would follow in 2 weeks .They didn’t and when eventually we got another date 4 weeks later on the day delivery never arrived and when I rang I was told they got damaged again. Eventually sskd said they would deliver the broken upstands and I could join them back together as they would send some adhesive or wait until next year .I asked for a partial refund as it was damaged goods but they refused and told me they were doing me a favour as I would end up with an extra meter in length ! So the order was over £2k £300 of which was for broken pieces of upstands to glue back together . Not the kind of service I wanted to be honest .

Firstly we would like to thank our customer for their review.
Unfortunately, upon checking with our distributors, we found that the upstands due to be picked for delivery were all damaged. We contacted the customer and advised there was no more stock our customer agreed to wait for the new stock to arrive.
Once again, and unfortunately, when these upstands arrived, they were also damaged, which we agree was very frustrating.
We checked with our distributor, and they said they could cut the upstand down to 2m x 100 x 12 of useable lengths and send five The original order was for three 3 m x 100 x 12.
Our customer was also given an alternative of waiting for yet more stock to arrive. It was agreed that we would send the five upstands to avoid further time being lost, we supplied free adhesives for the fitting.
Regarding Solid Surfaces.
Unlike laminate worktops, the beauty of solid surface material is when fitted correctly and after buffing and polishing, they should provide inconspicuous seams.
In other words, you should not be able to see any joints.
We think it’s a little unreasonable for our customer to say that these were broken pieces when in fact, these were cut down to useable sizes by our distributor,
We feel we offered the best solution at the time, given the circumstances, to avoid even further delay.
We apologise unreservedly to the customer and completely understand their frustration with the long wait.

Excellent service and so easy
Ordered our Axiom worktops and splashback from SSKD after hours of searching for white smooth finish at the best price. The website was easy to navigate and the price was far better than other suppliers,we asked for delivery on a certain date and they arranged it with clear instructions and approximate arrival time. Excellent service and will recommend SSKD to everyone.
