Our two week trip to Costa Rica was a family adventure to a wonderful and diverse country, with plenty to see and do. I'd recommend it without a doubt. From rain-forests and astonishing wildlife on the Caribbean coast, to surfing on the Pacific coast to zip lining and white water rafting in the mountainous, volcanic region between the two.
Costa Rica is large enough to see a great deal of diversity, but small enough to see a vast chunk of the country in two weeks.
Johnny at South America Odyssey designed the perfect trip; incorporating adventure, sight seeing and R&R. We'll be going back to Central America for sure.

Trip of a lifetime to celebrate Retirement and our 60th Birthday! Johnny's planning and attention to detail were exceptional, enabling us simply to relax and enjoy Argentina in complete confidence. Locations, transfers, guides, hotels, transport, food and wine were all excellent. From Buenos Aires with the amazing tango show to the beautiful glaciers in Patagonia via the incomparable waterfalls at Iguazu, and the wineries of Cafayate, everyone was welcoming and we had so many unforgettable experiences.

A bespoke tour. We visited so many of the major attractions in a sensible order. Time to acclimatise to the altitude, great hotels, seem less transfers and knowledgeable guides. When we had to change our itinerary at short notice the assistance from the local team was marvellous. Lima, Arequipa, Lake Titicaca, Colca Canyon, Machu Pichu (and the Trail), the Amazon and Cuzco (twice). A fabulous holiday.

First of all, Johnny made the planning so easy & flexible.
All the guides and drivers were very informative, timely and genuinely considerate of my concerns. (fear of heights & breathlessness) The accommodations were exactly what I asked for (B&B's in the community).

South American Odyssey has an impressive knowledge of all aspects of Mexico. The itinerary they organised for our group was perfectly suited to all the age groups be it Mayan ruins or lovely meals.

Highly recommend, fantastic service with lots of invaluable advice. Had previously been to Tanzania with Tanzania Odyssey so when I saw they'd set up a South America division I was thrilled to have them organise our trip to Peru & the Galapagos Islands. Johnny was very easy to get hold of and came up with the perfect trip. When our luggage was left behind in Peru Johnny was very helpful in trying to resolve the issue.

South America Odyssey planned our trip to Ecuador in February. We don’t really go for organised tours, preferring to plan our own holidays, but this was fantastic. Galapagos were unbelievable, boat and guides superb. Every hotel excellent. Johnny was very helpful and knowledgeable.
