Recently bought a bike from a different shop and realised the front dynamo wasn't working and booked a repair slot at this place as was close by. Initially they told me they couldn't find out what was wrong and all the connections were fine and told me to provide the warranty to get the front wheel replaced. Another guy quickly had a look at the bike and said some of the wires were loose and fixed it within 5 minutes and didn't even charge me, very nice guy. I'm not sure why they didn't have a look properly in the first place though.

I previously posted a one star review (it’s now deleted) it was a knee jerk response to the live chat not responding to my complaint about non delivery.
I’ve since had a telephone call from South Downs Bikes, explaining the issue a replacement was immediately made available and posted the day after now waiting for Royal Mail to deliver.

Order finally turned up after 12 days, second class post untracked probably needs upgrading. Product is awesome though. Used as a replacement for IOS no longer supporting the right kind of Bluetooth.

Had a minor issue with a wheel that wasn’t quite right and had to take it back to the shop after a repair. Wheel was fixed, they also fitted a new tyre for me, which I had purchased separately and Martin (owner), sorted me out with a coffee on the house from cafe across the road, thanks for that.
So, happy days, will definitely be back for upgrades and would recommend.

A big thank you to Andy at the Storrington branch. My free hub was well and truly knackered, creaking when riding forward and kicking back when trying to freewheel. Sadly I can't replace the free hub so ultimately I'll need a new wheel. However Andy worked some black magic and breathed some new life into it, it feels almost new. Well worth the nominal fee to keep me mountainbiking until I find the right new rear wheel that I want.

Ordered a tyre online, drove to the shop to find out they didn't have it even though online said they had stock. Wasted my time and money and I won't be using this company again.
