Too many phone calls to pay over the phone.
Chris at Devon Storage in Memphis was very helpful. I did get an email about the reservation that I made. And I tried to pay online so that my daughter could move her stuff in. I’m out of town so I’m not able to physically go in there and when I went online they were not helpful at all and I had to call and wait on hold for the physical company again and still didn’t get to pay.
They said the company will call me so I could pay over the phone. It looks like on the one hand is the physical company and the other hand is some kind of management and they’re not talking to each other and it’s making me very angry. why is it taking so many phone calls for y’all to take my credit card information?

I wouldn’t do business with this company
The raise the rent pretty quickly after you move in and you wouldn’t know this unless you ask them directly. There is also no way to cancel your reservation without calling them- many aspects of the booking process with this company seem deliberately designed to trick customers into spending more and making it harder to extricate yourself. There’s a button to click for everything about your reservation except for canceling.
I’m sure they’ll be clogging up my inbox now. I don’t have time to spend on the phone canceling my reservation when I should be able to do it online. There’s no option for that. I don’t find this company trustworthy.

Solid, proud presence in our state!
Even from the street their presence is known. I've passed several of its facilities and everyone is bright, green and welcoming. The grounds are clean and the welcome area is too. There are several ways to access the personnel if no one is at the front desk, too. The price is very cojpetitive too!
The on-line experience and the customer service on the phone wasgreat--every question/blank to fill in was clear; every response from the service person on the phone was friendly, professional and exacting..I didn't have to wait for someone to answer the phone!
Yamarie greeted me at the facility and walked me through the process of obtaining a storage unit. She gave me a tour, was patient and very knowledgeable! I felt so confident about my choice in storage. I feel like I'm in good hands, no matter how long I'll use Extra Space Storage!
