Hidden import charges come later
Bought and item and a month later got a bill for £119.45 for unpaid import duty. Be aware the price you pay is not the full price. You will be charged later for import duty. Would avoid.

Custom charges added afterwards who knew!
Warning: Be prepared to pay custom charges from France to UK. I thought I was getting a good deal with a Fleece Gilet I ordered until UPS came and told me I owe 35.00 or I don't get my package. The item itself is beautiful and thankfully it fits perfectly. I feel it should state when placing an order that custom charges apply. Otherwise I would of given Spartoo 5 stars. I am on a budget. So add in custom charges when you purchase. It will be guesswork.

Unimpressed with hidden cost
I was impressed with the price and quick delivery, item arrived as expected and all was good. However, over 2 weeks later I have received an invoice from UPS for a further charge. It has taken me a while to find out why, and it turns out that Spartoo have a clause that states custom charges apply on items over £135. Very disappointed about this, as nowhere on my invoice, emails or any other communication was I told about the extra charge. I would prefer to have been notified of this upfront. It seems pretty sneeky and underhand to me

Good value and prompt swrvice
I ordered on line and within 3 days I received the Aigle boots. I had seen them elsewhere, much more expensive, so I was impressed with both the price and promptness of delivery. Delivery charge was also reasonable.

I am sorry that the import charges on your order came as a surprise to you. Any orders which come from our warehouse in France and are above £135 in total value will result in UPS asking for further payment of Customs Duty.
Unfortunately, to receive your parcel, you would need to pay these charges. If you do not wish to pay these import fees, you may refuse the delivery. Please let us know if you intend to do so, and we will contact UPS and request the parcel be returned to the sender. Once we have confirmation from UPS that the parcel will be returned, we will refund you in full.
The information regarding customs fees is indicated in multiple sections on our website, including our Terms and Conditions, as well as our FAQ Delivery page. Most importantly, you can find the information on the payment page when you place your order underneath the green button "Confirm Order." AVOID !!
Ordered shoes on their website, paid P&P. UPS charged me £50 on top of that!! When you buy your shoes they are not telling you how much you have to pay custom charges because shoes are coming from France!! and they are not telling you that too. I found this very misleading and unfair to customers. I will never use their web to buy anything and for new customers, do your research and buy shoes you like elsewhere or don't buy them at all because it is not worth the hassle and the price. Customer service phones are switched off btw. Please read all reviews before you fall for that scam.

Ordered boots nowhere did it say you must pay £56 cash for customs tax when arrived on top of £153 for boots. Would not bother then a million emails
