Inmiddels biedt Specsavers in 139 plaatsen hoorzorg. Alle winkels worden geleid door volledig gediplomeerde StAr-geregistreerde audiciens, die de klant begeleiden bij een correcte hooraanpassing.

Went to Telford Store last week for annual eye test and purchased some new glasses, staff very friendly and helpful and even sorted my glasses out before my collection date due to breaking my old glasses, big thanks to Deb and the team for sorting, really appreciated it. Excellent customer service

my profound disappointment with the service my mother and I received at the Specsavers branch on Venestraat 45 on March 17th at 14:05.
We arrived to collect a pre-ordered item, but the staff (Annie and Alex) seemed completely disinterested in helping us. Instead, we were met with dismissive attitudes and a complete lack of willingness to resolve a problem that was clearly caused by the store's error.
The treatment we received felt very close to discrimination. My elderly mother was even physically moved aside while speaking to a staff member, who then walked away to serve someone else. Despite our polite and calm demeanor, we were essentially told to leave without any resolution.
I've filed an official complaint regarding potential discrimination. While I understand that businesses can be busy, this level of disrespect is unacceptable. I sincerely hope that Specsavers takes this matter seriously and implements measures to prevent similar incidents from happening to other customers. It's truly disheartening to feel discriminated against in this way. Avoid this branch if you can.

I attended Specsavers in Mahon point cork , I was to receive a survey which I didn’t receive so here I am not forgetting that the staff were impeccable, in particular Michael who was a credit to your company professional inside and out. An impeccable representative to Specsavers. All staff were at this level of no time wasting . A well oiled machinery

While arranging a home visit I spoke to several people; my experience was some were great, some not so much.
On the positive side a shout out to Rachel, who was lovely and super helpful.
On the negative side I spoke to a guy whose name sounded like Arlo (apologies if this is incorrect) who I believe works more on the finance side. I was trying to arrange a refund, and a return of the frames I had given Specsavers to re-glaze. ”Arlo” first told me I would have to wait for the frames to be returned by post and after confirming safe return, my refund would be issued. The refund was for £250, a substantial amount.
I asked for the refund to be issued immediately; he said he couldn’t do both so which did I want, the refund or the frames? When I asked why I couldn’t have both he said “let me know when you’re finished talking, so I can speak”.
If Specsavers record their calls this was on 4th Feb at 12.03pm; please listen. I tried to raise a complaint through the Specsavers website but so far haven’t received a response.
I would happily have another home eye test as the ophthalmologist (Rahul) was professionalism personified, but I doubt I would ever buy glasses from Specsavers again.

I am thoroughly disappointed with the service at Specsavers (Kingheath). After being drawn in by a promising promotion for contact lenses, the experience drastically went downhill. The staff failed to communicate essential details about the payment and direct debit scheme, leading to unexpected demands for upfront payments and undisclosed consultation fees.
Despite resolving one issue after lengthy discussions, the delivery and follow-up service were abysmal. I was left waiting without any updates about my order, and attempts to escalate the matter were ignored. This level of service is unacceptable and undermines my trust in their processes. I advise potential customers to consider other options

I was new to the region so went into the local shopping centre to go to Specsavers and have my annual eye test .
I did this , the first glasses that they produced had very short arms and only just reached my ears. This was in September. I took them back and waited another three weeks for glasses that would fit me getting them home. I realised that I was going for my old glasses rather than my new glasses because unconsciously I decided that the new glasses made me feel a little wobbly on my feet especially the sunglasses
So I went back in to talk to the girl at the front desk and of course I’ve forgotten to take them with me. She asked me to bring them back in and she’d get the Optomertrist to have a look at them.
just after that I had Covid and as I’m a senior citizen this really knocked me around a month later. I went back in with my glasses and I couldn’t see anybody without making an appointment which had to be in a fortnights time. Unfortunately I was sick again couldn’t make that appointment made another one in a fortnights time unbeknownst to me, they only guarantee their glasses for three months and I’m now over my three months. My argument was that I wasn’t over my three months when I first complained about them but that didn’t matter to them so $386 later I have sunglasses and reading glasses that don’t work don’t help me read and when I wear the sunglasses I feel sick
So I sat down and wrote a long letter to Specsavers on this site which makes you feel everything in the form provided.
it’s been three weeks and have I heard anything? No so I’m just warning everyone before you decide to go in and buy new glasses and have your eyes tested. Make sure you’re absolutely positive. You’re happy with them within three months otherwise they will tell you you. it’s your problem your eyes have changed etc. Etc.
Girls are very helpful, but the policy isn’t

Been having ear wax removal for 4 years with this company with no problems until today.
I got some young unkempt guy sort of welcome me.
He did the usual 20 questions then checked my ears and said I had pushed the wax back and he might not be qualifued to remove? (Never been told this before and he said it like it was my fault, twice)
I said you are either qualified to do the job or you are not, which is it?
He said he was qualified then he said he wouldn't do the procedure.
I said good, get me someone qualified who can, but there was no one else there.
I am now left with ears full of wax, and going on holiday next week.
All they could find was a booking for 20th Feb.
Disgusting customer service.
What happened to your good professional qualified staff?
Now you use junk off the street

I went to specsavers Veldhoven today to repair the glass, which was bought in Oct 2022. One of the screws was off and the lens dropped on the ground when I was walking this morning. It’s the second time the same issue has happened on the glass frame, so I am not so surprised about the bad quality, but I am angry because of the service I get.
I was in the shop after lunch time. The frame was quickly “fixed” but I noticed the screw he used is silver screw instead of black screw, which makes a big contrast to the glass frame. So I pointed it out, told him it was black previously and asked him to replace them with “the original screws”. A few minutes later, he got the frame back to me with black colour. I appreciated the help and left the shop, but I suddenly found my finger was full of black ink, then I realised the shopman played a trick and simply painted the screw with black pen.
I was immediately back to shop and I told the guy don’t cheat the customer in this way. He excused that “you asked for black, and now it’s black”. I was angry because I definitely told him not only black screw but I want the original one, which definitely makes sense.
He then picked up a new frame and double checked that what I requested is true, finally he replaced it with the correct screw, but some black inks were still left in the frame which he painted before, so I asked him to clean it. Obviously, he was not happy about the cleaning work.I told him that “Please don’t do these tricks to customers, it’s a shame.”. He replied then “I am going to delete your information”.
I was very surprised about it, so I answered "Please go ahead", I asked his name and told him I am going to file a complaint. He refused to provide a name and told me arrogantly “I am the director of the shop, you can’t complaint”. “You can find my name online”
Now I am writing the story here to file an official complaint. The shopman firstly cheated the customer during the glass repair and threatened to delete my information when I warned him it's a shame to cheat the customer.
As he suggested, I mannered to find his name online, “Jeroen van der Heijden”.

I made an appointment for my 91 yr old mother with Dementia In store. We got mum ready and just as we were about to leave the house I got a call from the store cancelling the appointment as the optician had left unwell. This was dis regulating for mum. I decided to make a home appt and was pleased when I got a call saying that there had been a cancellation and the appt was brought forward. I received a reminder text and I called to confirm. It was agreed the appt would be the last for the day as mum has attends a day centre and breaking routine wouldn’t be good for her. 20 mins before her appt ( 4.38)I got a call which I missed and called back straight away a voicemail was left stating that the appt was cancelled as I had not answered the ‘numerous’ calls made during the day. I called straight back and spoke to someone at 4.40 who stated that the appt was cancelled and nothing else was available for another week or two. I can state for a fact that no one from Specsavers called me during the day. I strongly believe that the Optitian clearly wanted to end their day early! Twice an elderly customer was let down by this company. They lack care and understanding for customers with needs. Preparing people with Dementia for events is a process. Changing things particularly last minute evokes anxiety and distress which not only impacts the customer but also the people caring for them. I have lost faith in Specsavers. Shame on you!

Had my eye test on the 6th Jan bought my glasses then was booked in for a fitting appointment one week later on the 13th Jan, got three emails to remind me of my appointment and a text the day before so I wouldn’t forget.
Went for my appointment 10 mins early so I wouldn’t be late.
They checked my name then asked me to wait for the 10 minutes, all okay👍🏻
Then 1 minute before my appointment they told me the glasses wouldn’t be ready for a couple of days.
No re-appointment no sincere apology, no excuses, it felt like my fault.
I am now in limbo wondering what to do?

I recently went to Specsavers for an eye test instead of my usual place . I saw a good difference in test and professional service. I paid £5 to have a deeper look at the back of my eyes which I thought was good value. Glasses selection was good and staff gave good help in choosing. I also got a good deal on price of glasses. Definitely recommend

My wife visited Specsavers Woodley to buy some new glasses. Non of the prices quoted related to their online store offerings. Wanted £410 for two pairs of glasses.Quoted £180 for tailored vary focal lenses. Was told the online shop quote of £40 lenses were no good and they could not recommenced them. Online shop quote they were free if you purchased frames above £70. Also she requested reactive lenses which were free again if you purchased frames above £70 frames. Sent email requesting reasons and they telephoned my wife asking her to revisit to go through the quote. Not prepared to answer my email. Only buy if you got deep pockets.

I went for an eye test this week.
The optician asked me if there were any changes in my sight, I said I did not think so.
She put some glasses on me and asked me to look at a card with writing on it. Because I could read it, she said my prescription was the same. No checking my eyes, nothing!
This is not an eye test.
Dreadful service.
I went to Pearle for the first time every (always happy with Specsavers until now) and they discovered I have dry eyes and I now have drops to help that.

My visit was GREAT and I mean it. I wanted an eye-test, and I told them, politely, that this is what I want, so please do not try to upsell anything. They oblidged and I went out happy. But the survey they emailed after, oh boy, questions circled like a vulture (several full circles, actually) whether the staff did offer me a 'full range' of this or that, and the options, and the contact lenses, and did I buy this, this and that during my visit. NO, I did not, I got EXACTLY what I came for.

Didn’t have a great experience, advice wasn’t great and lost out on my employer voucher for prescription glasses.

I attended the Audiologist. What a great experience!
He checked both ears, then explained with the help of images what was causing the problems with my ears. He then explained exactly what steps I should take to resolve the inflammation in my inner ears. He set my mind at ease and to top it off the test was free!
Such a pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend SpecSavers both for glasses and for hearing tests.
