Straightforward and easy to use
Pleased to find the site was easy to use and all information sought seemed relevant. A bit difficult to appreciate the charges applied for prior conditions when they have no impact and are purely for someone reviewing the information (or so it says). Post purchase info supplied was also clear and easily downloaded and saved. All in all, a positive experience which I can recommend to others.

As with most travel insurers, cover for pre-existing medical conditions is excluded from the base policy. Optional top-up cover is available and quoted based on each individuals own medical circumstances. We appreciate some customers may feel their medical conditions are well maintained and will not cause them any issues whilst away which is why we offer the option for customer to ‘Exclude cover’. Very easy to renew insurance
Would have been better if the agent had mentioned the discount offer available that was sent to my email, rather than me having to request if after the quote was given! Seems to be the same with all insurers though you need to check on-line for best deal before calling.

Rubbish
Rubbish! Last year we were cheated by Spectrum into buying travel insurance which did not cover the dates of our holiday to USA. I had to take out extra insurance for over £200. Never again. I am now looking at other providers and will berate Spectrum to others on every chance I get. Dreadful behaviour indeed! I wanted the cover to start to cover our holiday but was forced into upgrading cover for a time it was not needed. You are shysters!

On listening to your call last July our call operative offered clear options relating to your trip to USA in May 2019. You then chose to upgrade your existing policy to ensure cancellation cover was in place for this trip up to expiry date of the policy. You acknowledged your policy would also need to be renewed in April 2019 to ensure continuance of cover & note a renewal quotation has since been provided which you declined. A Single Trip policy has been purchased instead which we hope meets your needs. Should you wish to discuss this further please contact our Customer Care Team.
