Struggled to understand man's language
Struggled to understand man's language, only wanted medical conditions checked. Had to go through whole quote which I had already done.20 minutes on phone far too long !!

Very helpful staff , I purchased travel insurance for daughter's holiday only to find I had put the wrong name on the policy , the lovely lady I spoke very quickly sorted this out and corrected my mistake .

Would recommend this insurance company
Would recommend this insurance company, we had to make a claim from our last holiday in April. They helped advise which hospital to go to. We had to pay the bill whilst on holiday but had no problem completing the forms and claiming the money back on our return to England.

21 days staying with our son in Canada
21 days staying with our son in Canada. This is OK. But why do insurers assume that we are too feeble at 66 and 78 to be away from home for more than 35 days at a time? We are off to Spain for 3 months in September so that is not a lot of good to us.We are already paying excessive premiums compared to slightly younger travellers.What about it Insurers, I'm off to dig the garden now then I'm building a wall. Cheers! JR.

Thank you for your review. As with most travel policies there are age/trip duration restrictions which differ from insurer to insurer. Although our Single Trip policies do provide cover for up to 100 days, this is only available for travellers up to age 75. Good service but was confused about whether the renewal price included our previous medical screening costs
Good service but was confused about the term ‘renewal price’. If I renew something, I assume it will be the same thing again. As we had medical screening charges last time, I was unsure whether they were included in the new price or not. After all, we were just repeating the same purchase from last year, where we paid one total price. I rang up and a very helpful lady was able to clarify that the medical stuff has to be redone every year. It would have been better if this information was included when a renewal notice email was sent out.

Our medical question database is updated regularly and therefore may ask different questions to the previous year. As such customers are required to re-complete to ensure we have the most up to date information. Good cover, good value, easy to acquire.
Easy site to use. Policy choices adequate for most. Cover excellent and cost, including pre-existing medical, is less that the cheapest on a comparison website. Application was easy right through to the medical questionnaire.
