I was recommended to contact Ollie James of SPF Private Clients by a trusted colleague when researching the possibilities of raising a buy-to -let mortgage for my 90year old mother. She had struggled to sell her flat to release funds for a retirement property and time was of the essence. Ollie immediately responded positively and provided us with several options advising on the best to meet our needs. His research, advice and handling of the requirements and issues was incredibly thorough and his explanations, to us novices in the area, made the whole process straightforward and achievable. It is due to Ollie’s guidance and extreme efficiency that we ended up with the right product in good time leading to a satisfactory move and a massive sense of relief. Ollie was unfailingly efficient, hands on with FOUR visits to my mother, arriving with printed sheets, up to the minute new deals with improved rates, even liaising with solicitors, agents and the new property, and dealing with us with a kindness that is incredibly rare. He made the whole process so straightforward and we really felt that he cared about the best outcome. He must rank as the kindest and most personable of financial advisors in the land, even sending flowers to Mum in her new home! I cannot recommend his services highly enough and wouldn’t hesitate to request his assistance next time I need mortgage advice.

I’ve worked with Charlie and Cristian at SPF Private Clients on two separate occasions to secure a mortgage, and both experiences have been exceptional.
