CO2 SENSOR COMPLAINT

On 15.12.2025 I found out that my CO2 sensor stopped working! I wrote to the customer service line about the malfunction along with details (date of purchase, order number) On 16.12 I received an email around 8.30am requesting a photo of the sensor over time. In the evening around 20.00 I sent 5 photos of the sensor from different segments of the day. On 17.12 a quick check was apparently carried out by the Spider Farmer technical department. On 18.12 morning I was informed about the replacement and asked to confirm the address. On 19.12 I received an email with the tracking number of the package. The delivery time (I live on an island) is usually about 5 working days. Unfortunately it's Christmas so the package will probably arrive later than standard, but Spider Farmer can't during Christmas😜. How do I rate the communication? As a person who lives by communication and trade, I must say that it was at a great level without unnecessary questions (when the seller usually tries to avoid acknowledging the complaint) and completely factual. The behavior of the operators is at a great level and words like please and thank you and sorry which at first glance look like: nothing to comment on. In fact, respect for customers has been lost! But not at SPIDER FARMER! One feels that they are really interested! I do not understand your criticisms of the lack of communication and the quality of the products. I am enthusiastic about SPIDER FARMER, their products, service in short from A to Z!!!

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs. They are a scam. Have not reviewed my goods that I paid for a month ago and now this has causedover 400 poind of dead plants and a mental health crisis and spider farmer no resend the parcel they have lost or never sent appalong customer service spider farmer ypu have 24hours to send me my goods via Royal mail next day or I'm escalating this to fraud team and the police thank you. I expect an automated reply but no help once again

Shipping and customer service a turn off

BEWARE SHIPPING COSTS IF YOU LIVE RURAL.

A few weeks ago I was surprised (not in a good way) when after placing my first order with Spider Farmer AU I was emailed with a request to pay an additional $107 in shipping due to my location. I was especially surprised because after entering my address at checkout, the cart specifically said free shipping which I trusted. Today (a few weeks after my first order) I placed a second order for a smaller item and have just received an email requesting $17 for shipping.

I don't have a problem with paying extra for delivery since I live where I live, but I do have a problem with companies that can't quote accurate pricing at checkout and rely on poorly written unsympathetic template emails sent after placing an order requesting even more money. I also think the additional shipping charges are excessive compared to the price I'm charged from other companies, but that's neither here nor there at this point.

The point is I've had the same unwelcome surprise twice and clearly Spider Farmer don't care to do anything to improve the experience and transparency around shipping costs for customers outside of metro areas. The year is 2025, why can't a website calculate accurate shipping costs? Failing that, why is there not at least some logic to identify rural postcodes so at least a disclaimer is shown at checkout? The only disclaimer about potential additional charges is hidden away on their shipping info page linked in the footer, which let's be honest, who reads that for every purchase they make?

To make matters worse, their customer service is SLOW, causing a delay to my order that doesn't feel great after paying for the products and a surprise shipping fee.

It's unfortunate because the products I've bought are good and well priced, but I won't be ordering again because I can't trust the price I'm given at checkout and I don't want to be hit with unknown shipping costs after placing every order.

Edit: Most of my experience with their customer service over email has been copy/paste template responses, so I’m not one bit surprised that they give the same effort when replying to reviews. Normally I’d say being transparent with shipping costs is not a hard thing to do, but when this is the maximum effort they put into customer service I’m not surprised they seem incapable of improving a pain point for customers. If it weren’t for this I’d likely be a loyal customer, but instead I’ll find someone else.

Recently purchased Grow Tool Kit

I recently purchased the Grow Kit Tools which included a 30x Magnifier Loupe. As I opened the magnifier to view the lenses popped out of the housing holding the lenses. I reached out to Spider Farmer Customer Service telling them what had happened not expecting much that they could do as it was part of a whole tool kit consisting of many items. I received prompt reply with the conditions of what needed to be done to either fix or replace. I sent along what was needed to satisfy these conditions. Once again not expecting much to be done. Within days I received an email with a tracking number for a package sent to me. Upon receiving the package it was the new 2025 Spider Farmer 200X Trichome Microscope Magnifier – SmartPhone Lens with LED & UV, Nano Zoom, CPL, Clip-On for iPhone & Android! Not only a replacement but an upgrade.
So onto the Spider Farmer website I go once again to look at other items that will be quite useful to my indoor growing. I have bought the 3x3×6 Grow tent along with the pepper grinder and am quite happy with this company especially the customer service which is HUGE these days. THANK YOU Spider-Farmer!! Keep up the great work!

Good products, good customer service

Been using spiderfarmer products for years and never was disappointed.
The only issue ever was that one fan stopped rotating properly after a year of use and it was quickly replaced at no cost. I even got a free upgrade to v2 of said fan AND got to keep the old one.

Customer support is awful/ Missing parts

Customer support is awful. We spent over 1400 euros on a complete growbox set and yet there is missing parts.

good stuff for fair prices, nice people

I have almost all equipment from spider farmer. I think there is not better price for the quality. I like the hardware really much, great light, no stink, and not much louder than my fridge.
One light came not good functioning, they returned it in 2 days. In one order a piece was missing, it was sent in one or two days.
The support is nice and answeres in 24 hours or faster and they were always nice. Thx

Customer support rocked it

I was having trouble with my controller panel.
I contacted customer support by email and received a reply very fast...in less than 24 hours.
Gloria checked in with their engeneering team for finding a solution and they found one.
I received an exchange device today. There was some kind of defect in it. All in all it took them less than a week making me happy and keeping my babies safe.
I can only recommend the products AND customer support.

Disappointed…

After three estimates of restock I still don’t have my product. I bought it when it was in stock. Customer service promised a lot and nothing happened. They maybe have nice stuff, but the customer service and logistics are amazingly bad. Think again when you buy spider farmer products.
