Bought a ski package for my 13-year old son including bindings. The ski & bindings were intended for park & pipe as per the product description. After five days of use the brake/stopper of the binding broke and the heel plate cracked in the process as well. Sport Conrad informed that they do not replace the part and tried to sell me the part for additional cost. They came up with an excuse that the damage was caused by an external force. After I provided more information, they ghosted me and did not even bother to reply. Obviously a ski equipment is subject to external force as this is the intended use of the product. Besides, in this case the damage was caused in connection of the binding opening up as it should when a skier falls down. I would not trust this vendor especially if you are from outside Germany. Very easy to ignore customers rights outside your country.

Edit Jan 18, 2023. I received the part from the store over mail. I did not receive any email about it, but they seemed to have reconsidered their decision to replace the part with no charges. I was happy with this. As it was a positive decision it would have made sense to let me know about the revised decison.

I bought my new Head skis for a good price and I got them very fast (in three days) to Slovenia.

Correct customer service. Ordered ski-boots but had to return them because I took the wrong size. Sport Conrad took the boots back and refunded immediately, no issues!

Was a little cautious due to it being a company from overseas (delivery times/customer service etc) but sports Conrad didn’t let me down in any area, will use again!

I have used Sport Contrad on several occasion purchasing various products. They have been super professional during 1. the sales cycle: helping and coaching me regarding the exact products to procure given my level of profeciency, size etc - extremely helpful and knowledgeable. And their pricing is super competitive 2. The delivery cycle: The products have alway arrived on time without any issues. On several occasions they have been able to re-direct the shipment to other addresses for my specific needs and 3. During customer service: I recently had a product that broke and they were very quick in replacing it… all in all a 360 customer focus actor that I can really recommend.

I ordered my new skis from Conrad last week and I can not tell you how great the service has been. The communication with their Customers Support is absolutely great I needed to know the adjustments for my ski bindings and they have been helpful all the way through. The skis arrived within a week from Germany (I am from Slovakia) and they have been packed great aswell. Overall satisfied!

Sport-Conrad has for ages (10+ years and K€20 purchases) been my go to gear pusher. This latest purchase went as always smooth. 5 stars.

Unfortunately I purchased the helmets to small. They were bought on a 25% deal of the day. I reached out to info@ to have these replaced. That wasn't possible due to company policies. Properly OK and by the rules, but never the less with a purchasing history as mine I expected some sort of courtesy (just give me a voucher to purchase two new helmets at the same price). Anyhow down to 4 stars

I wrote my comments back to info, highlighting my history with them ... no reply. I find that super rude. 3 stars

I know I'm a bit emotional here ... but I've just been a happy camper for so many years and are super disappointed that I haven't earned any kind of "special treatment" over all these years ... anyway, other stores are out there

Our favourite website for online ski kit purchasing. I, and many of my friends, have purchased numerous skiing related items from Sport Conrad many years. I think it is fair to say that, collectively, we have all been consistently pleased with the service offered by Sport Conrad. There is a wide range of quality products offered with a very good and competitive range of price points; the website is detailed and extensive with good search capabilities; the ordering and purchasing process is straightforward; and delivery is prompt.

And, finally, it is reassuring to know that all of that is backed up by very efficient and responsive customer service - on the rare occasion it is needed.

Skis arrived quickly and were a great price. I emailed a question after purchasing and received an immediate reply. Very pleased with the skis and the service.

I am still getting UPS shipping late payment charges due to Sport Conrad not paying the shipping in time. I do not even have any direct contract with UPS but yet they still keep hassling me. SPORT CONRAD ARE NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY. Interaction with this company has cost me over £300 and I never ended up buying a product from them.

I’ve always been a happy customer of Sport Conrad and have bought both boots and telemark skis/bindings from them in the past, so five stars. This is a one star review however as I feel they’ve let me down badly, so I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt by averaging it out at 3 stars…

This latest incident started four years ago when I decided to replace my touring boots and bought a pair of Rossignol BCX-12s in readiness for my one week away the following year. Off to Norway I go eleven months later and one of the boots literally fell apart on Day 2 (the sole came off). No problem - Sport Conrad sorted me out under warranty with a replacement pair of boots supplied by Rossignol. Annoying that it happened and spoilt my holiday but faultless service.

They knew I wouldn’t be using them until the following season but in the event I didn’t go skiing in 2022 as there were still major Covid issues. Roll forward to this year and, fresh out of the box, not one but both soles come off in exactly the same manner within three hours of use. Clearly an inherent defect.

I expected at least some sympathy for my week being spoilt yet again because I wasn’t able to use my own touring skis and I even offered to pay the difference for an alternative boot, but no. I had several attempts at galvanising the warranty department into action (having forwarded copious photos and all the previous correspondence) but they would have none of it - three years is too long regardless of the circumstances was all they would say.

What really annoyed me was that I asked [twice] for the matter to be escalated in line with their formal complaints procedure. but they then simply refused to respond.

So there you have it, a great company with a great record who I feel have let me down by twice supplying a duff pair of boots (not their fault) and refusing to accept any responsibility.

after buying , international shipping took 2 business days. so, why i recommend sport conrad is great price, very fast shipping, exactly what i expected

Fantastic customer service.
I identified that the UK address selector was not working and their e-commerce team sorted it promptly. Very kind and friendly customer service and a very economical way to but my ski touring kit.

Good price for 2sets of tour-skis plus bindings/shoes. One ski (Black Crows Orb Freebird) broke first skitrip (first day) I used them. Sports Conrad did a great job replacing them, incl switching bindings and shipping within a week so I was ready for next ski trip in time. Great service!

22 03 Update I was able to contact the shop through their Facebook account and was sent tracking number.
Will update the review when the package will be received.

15 03 2023 16h I made an order on comprising of readily available items.
When ordering I've left a comment in a dedicated comment spot asking to contact me by phone if delivery could take more than 5 working days.

16 03 emailed the shop inquiring about order status and receiving the answer that the order is in process and nothing can be done.

17 03 I've received automatic email stating tracking number and invoice will be emailed soon ( of which I received neither).

I've even tried calling the phone number which is listed on the website on many different times and days to no avail.

21 03 Even called Pennzburg shop and they directed me to the webshop phone number for me just to listen to some jingle and to know nobody is available to answer it...

Zero info since 17 03 - zero email replies and zero order status follow up - even on the website.

I'm leaving on a skiing trip soon and I'm not happy with this situation to say the least....

I've ordered 3-4 times before, but this was without a doubt the last. Stay away! And don't buy skis pre-mounted from here. Also, possibly the worst customer experience I've had to be honest. The tone, the attitude, the rudeness, the total lack of understanding even though they admitted that they had mounted the bindings all wrong... on a pair of race skis. Is that a german thing or did they just lose it in customer support?

I ordered a pair of race skis for my son and they mounted the binding in the wrong position. So those will have to be remounted – meaning new holes will have to be drilled to move the whole race plate... they're saying they will reimburse me for having the re-drill done, but they won't accept that the ski will be an inferior product having multiple holes in them... which obviously is total nonsense. And they know it. The extra set of holes will lower the performance of the skis, making it more probable that moisture will enter the core and lower the re-sell value.

When I asked them what they would do with the skis if I returned them (sell them on to someone with a wrongly mounted binding?) instead of having them fixed, they literally started yelling at me (yes, you can do that in an email apparently) and also saying that I was rude who even brought up the question of getting a discount due to the errors they made.

Just stay away. It's cheap yes, but not worth it.

EDIT March 15th: In their reply below, Sport-conrad suggests that I haven't sent them pictures. That is a blatant lie and pretty damn nasty - they have received a picture showing how the race plate and binding does not align with the recommended placement mark on the ski and that's when THEY suggested I get it re-mounted - after seeing the picture. They most certainly know they screwed up. Yes, they said they would cover the cost of that, but the issue I brought up is that a re-drilling lowers the performance and value of a race ski, something they were 100% reluctant to acknowledge. When I stuck to the fact that a re-drilled race ski is inferior to one with a properly mounted binding (which is what I've paid for obviously) and suggested they give me a discount, they suddenly became rude and changed tactics – all of a sudden they wanted the ski back. I asked why and what they'd do with it as it's not fair to re-sell a mishandled or double-drilled ski as a new ski... and were met with even more rudeness. All in all, my recommendation remains – buy your pre-mounted skis elsewhere. It's easy really, don't buy from people who will end up calling their customers liars in a public forum.

I can warmly recommend this shop. I ordered from Sport Conrad cross-country shoes Alpina in 9.12.2022. The delivery time from Germany to the Czech Republic was 3 days. Faster than most Czech e-shops.
In February, I tried the shoes on the mountains and found that they had a manufacturing defect (on the carbon cuff was a sharp point that ripped the fabric). I was worried about how the store would react to the complaint and I was pleasantly surprised. The complaint was resolved in two days in my favor and the money was returned to my bank account in the next three days.

I have already ordered another pair of cross-country shoes from Sport Conrad.

UPDATE: I modified my initial 1 star rating because after writing this review i was contacted by another person from Customer Service who understood the the issue and corrected it.My opinion regarding the comunication and general customer service experience with the first person i dealed with remains- the worst/ to be avoided.
I had placed an order on their website for a pair of Leki walking sticks which never reached me due to the fact that they didn't put the full address i provided on the package(according to the courier they used).
Even when i saw on the tracking that there was an issue with the delivery and i told them to contact the courier they contracted and clear it, they took no action.
When the parcel was returned to them (because they failed to write the full address on it) they refused to refund me the shipping cost claiming it was my fault the courier could not deliver it (due to incomplete address written by them).

Fast an reliable delivery to Slovakia.

Some sarcasm included, but not far from true. One of the most horrible CS experiences ever, I was shocked!

I never bought mounted skis before online, and I asked for some advices, included picture with the specification. Reply was fast, but short and rude that do not accept back mounted skis. There was no reply to my question, no kindness, just a cold reply that did not even answered my question.

This is the clear sign to me to get off from such company as they will never treat my with basic respect and if I buy from them next experince would be probably even worst.

I feel dissapointed because my their attitude towards customers clearly shows to avoid them in the big loop before giving them my money and opportunity to cause more troubles than joy :((((
