Just too much hassle

I ordered a shirt for my husband's birthday. The parcel arrived after a couple of weeks but it was the wrong one. ST suggested I return it. I asked for a bag/return label but was told this couldn't be provided. After various emails they agreed to send the correct one out express delivery on the understanding I would return the other one and my costs would be refunded. I sent it back and advised them I have done that. No refund for the cost of postage. bag has been received. I'm out of pocket for the best part of £6, not counting the time spent trying to get it sorted
PS. Following this post it has all been sorted, thanks to Grant!

If possible could you send me an e-mail to grant@sportingtouch.com with your order ID number and I will be sure to refund you for your return postage immediately.

We are currently working on a system with our courier to be able to supply return labels .etc for customer returns, at present they don't offer it sadly.

First time I ordered it took approx 2…

First time I ordered it took approx 2 weeks for delivery which is quite long in this day & age. Also took 2 weeks to get a refund on an out of stock item, not the end of the world.

Second time I ordered and we are nearly at a month now and no delivery. I have emailed them numerous times asking for an update and then subsequently to cancel my order so I can order elsewhere. All those emails were ignore until I escalated it to PayPal, and then voila all of a sudden a response and an apology. They promised an update shortly, I have now updated another day and nothing so have requested a refund yet again...let's see if they do it.

I don't know how they expect people to wait a month for something as simple as a couple pairs or shorts and socks.

Just to update I did receive a full refund and the products I ordered which is appreciated, just frustrating you never reply to emails :(

We are very sorry to hear about your negative experience with us. After looking into this, the major causes of the delays in the actual orders has been due to a supplier issue that we've been having. Usually within a week (give or take a few days) of a customer placing an order we have the goods in from the relevant supplier and ready to send out, sadly over the last 2 months with the specific supplier that relates to your orders we've been having an absolute nightmare with receiving deliveries.

We should have communicated this with you better and we do sincerely apologise for the lack of communication you have received from us. It's not how we like to conduct business and we're taking relevant steps to ensure something like this doesn't happen again.

I can confirm your order has been fully refunded. We had received a couple of days ago some of your items from your order so we have sent these out to you free of charge as an apology.
