Once you signed up for premium membership and pay, you discover how few premium members they have. (without premium membership people can't communicate on this site). I signed up for the option of one month and even though it says no cancelation needed, be careful as this is automated renewal. There is no option for you to opt out of the renewal through the settings, instead you need to message their customer service and they don’t make it very obvious so you can easily ended up paying for more than you thought without releasing (unless you are scrutinising every spent on your bank/credit card statement). Although it’s not illegal what they do but I am convince the lack of clarity on the renewal terms is deliberate....
I hardly come across customer service so inflexible. Once I cancelled my renewal through messaging their customer service, the confirmation email I received stated that my premium membership will be valid until the 11th June. My understanding was that 11th June will be my last day of being able to access the site, unfortunately when I tried log in on that morning I was told that my premium membership expired. I messaged the customer service, explaining the situation and asked if they could grant me one-time free log in to reply to one message unfortunately they refused. I was told i would need to pay for new whole membership. I wasn't going to use this site since during the month of being premium member i didn’t get out of the site much therefore I didn’t want to pay the whole month for one access and I have lost possible one connection I might have made. I signed up for this site twice, second time a year later to see if things has improved but i can clearly see they haven't and i will never join them again for 2 reasons: there is very few premium members on the site who actually can correspond, and the customer service shows very little understanding.

Really not worth it - unlike others here I think there are some real people on there and had no problem cancelling...BUT...even if you buy premium membership, the people you write to can't write back, unless they also have premium membership, which most people don't have, so it's all a bit pointless really. If they made it so non-members could at least reply to premium members it might be ok.

I noticed there's something off about the profiles when there was a picture of an older man (+40), but the profile said they're 25.

The site has no traceability system (you don't know if other people have actually met or not). I wouldn't be surprised if the profiles were just taken from Instagram or Facebook to give you the feeling that the website has a lot of users.

To be fair, though, the users that are shown on the homepage do seem to be genuine.

However, don't trust anything else on the websites. User stories include stock photos (so the stories might be made up too). Staff photos use stock photos too. If a company is deceptive with things like this, it's hard to judge what actually is real.

The idea is great, though. For context, I have a tight schedule with fixed slots for exercise so I wanted to find people who would want to join me at those times. So if there's an alternative that is transparent about its community, I'd be happy to try it out.

The couple of positive review must be from those behind the scam.
I live in Switzerland and registered my profile without any information about me. Immediately on the second day the website showed that I have some enquiries. But I could not read them without paying the membership. After reading other reviews, I confirm that this is a scam portal.
Just avoid this site, where ever you are!!

Just like everyone else are saying; This site is a big scam. I unfortunately did the mistake of subscribing. Chose the 3 month subscription (don't remember seeing just for 1), and of course, they deducted all the money for all 3 months right away, even though they made is seem like you pay per month.

You get fake messages, but the thing is, you don't know that they're fake, unless you're a paying member. I just hope that I'll be able to remove my subscription my deleting my account, because there are no payment options (of course), so you can't delete your credit card details.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID at all times. It's a travesty how sites like this are even allowed to exist. Disgusting.

Oh, almost forgot; The 5 stars are 1000000% either the owners or paid comments. Shame on you.

Sportpartner give a monthly figure as a subscription charge but then withdraw from your bank account the amount equal for the whole year in one lump sum .
I read the contract through a few times and came to the conclusion it would be a monthly charge..no it is not..just some clever wording..I do not recommend this web site the rules are too opaque . I have started a charge back from my bank..I did not agree to the whole 12 payments taken in one go . Be careful subscribers ...Take care and read other reviews before deciding to spend over £70 in one go even though they push the price as being £5.95 per month . . Beware .

Just a note to say Sportpartner told me that I agreed one instalment for the whole year . Well one payment is not an instalment is it . It`s payment in full .

This is very nice portal and for my opinion, this is the best way how to find some people for sports activities. I am so happy that I am member and I recommend it for other people.

Ridiculous website. Don't waste your time, you have to pay a subscription just to read any messages that I don't believe we're even there.

Also can't leave anything lower than two stars as a review on their website. I also think they are writing their own reviews on here and their own website.

I have just signed up for one month membership unfortunately before reading the reviews here. Now I’m worried that they will continue with taking payments from me as it happened to others here. Anybody solved this problem and have an advice for me?

I paid 1 eur for premium membership, the next day I found out I could not log in into my account anymore, reported as blocked. Not the way one should treat paid customers.

As others have said, this is an outrageous scam website. I signed up for a 1 month one-off membership (one time only) on the basis (which was stated very clearly on the sign-up page) that the membership would NOT automatically renew/extend. I used the site/service for 1 month and found that almost none of the other "users" are active. Many may even be fake. Certainly it's almost impossible to connect with any real, active users. I sent over 20 messages to people purportedly in my area and only received one reply.
I had decided that I would definitely not be renewing my membership and remembered that it would automatically expire, so I didn't think about Sportpartner anymore......until I received a notification email from PayPal that payment had been deducted from my account and that a monthly automatic (Direct Debit) payment had been set up. I have had to contact Sportpartner to cancel this (but received no reply), cancel the ongoing payment with PayPal, and open a dispute regarding the unauthorised payment that had already been deducted from my account. I have no idea how PayPal can even allow companies to set up a Direct Debit without my permission!

Sport partner is scam, I can’t remember I subscribe with them, they have been taking money from my PayPal account since April 2019, £12.95 per month
On their website I can’t login as they do not recognise my email address, they do not answer the phone, and they do not answer the email. There is no help line on their website and no contact us link. They are based in Amsterdam

Was trying to use this to meet a tennis partner. But you can't actually message anyone without subscribing. Also there's no way to know how old/active any of the matched accounts are.

I understand that a business needs to make money, but there's no way to confirm if this even works.

I would like to give this app/website zero stars. Absolutely rubbish. You gotta pay to see any messages and even visits. Then there is the fact that nobody is active on there and questionable as to any visits you do get as a they have no photo so more than likely fake.
Don't touch the app and don't give any card details. Apps like this shouldn't be allowed to operate.

This is a scam! Website looks legit. They will take your money and give you nothing. A fake message will appear making you think you've found a buddy then a premium membership needs to be paid to view it. Worrying that they appear to continue to use what look like real photos (I wasn't able to delete mine) If you've already paid I would suggest cancelling your card to avoid any future payments coming out as there is no recall.

Everyone else said enough. Scam. You use basic one and suddenly I see I have 2 messages. Buy premium to see messages and it tells me the 2 messages are notifications to say I gave someone a high five.
No filters so I see people 50km from me first. How am I supposed to run with so me some 50km away??

Would like to give 0.001% of a star. This site is truly a site that's more interested in mugging you off and covering their steps. eg. improper payment info so I get ripped off with misleading payment options I then tell them refund me or I'll take it further get told basically the polite version of p*ss off we got your coin. Then I find they've changed their website payment info so they can cover their a*se. Do not join all fake i want to boycott this site and have it shut down. I want them to see what public power is and how you mug us off and we rise up and shut you down without us your nothing. Respect to those who have been mugged off by these sites.

As others have noted this site is a total waste of time & money. Don't be conned. Also, I've repeatedly tried to delete my profile and unsubscribe without success.
