Fantastic experience!
Fantastic experience! This is a great program. Lots of support, talented mentors and experienced coaches.
Glad I chose Springboard
The material was well designed and the workflow was great. At first it was daunting because the course was designed with a top-down approach, which really is the best way to learn. Springboard acknowledged this by saying not to spend too much time on any one thing because it was going to loop back for details. This was helpful.
The Slack support was awesome, Paul and Frank specifically were great. These two and a few others were quick to help in the technical stuff and even foo zoom meetings if needed.
I didn't deal much with the Springboard office group because it wasn't necessary, but the few times I had questions, they were quick to respond and help.
As far off the course work, it's a lot and that's the point. It's thorough and touched on just about anything that one could run across in the field, but dug in with the details for the foundational things. It's best to be motivated to learn and devote the needed time depending on any previous knowledge that one may have. I had a background in higher mathematics, which was good for understanding algorithms, but very little in modeling via python packages, so that's where my time was dedicated.
I shopped for about 6 months on the best camp, and I'm glad I choose Springboard.
help me land my dream job
Springboard give me self confident and they prepared me for getting my first job as a data analyst. They taught me lots of skills to succeed.
5 stars
Overall, my experience with Springboard was excellent. The student advisors, support team, and mentors were incredibly helpful and responded promptly, which was crucial for the completion of my projects. The entire team was very accommodating and designed the program to fit the needs of full-time working professionals like myself. I truly appreciate the level of support and guidance provided throughout the program, which allowed me to achieve my goals and gain valuable skills in my field. Thank you, Springboard!
A comprehensive and challenging bootcamp
The curriculum was comprehensive and the videos, projects and assignments provided an excellent learning experience. The TAs and my mentor were prompt in responding and always available if I had any questions. It was a challenging course but provided me with a solid foundation and the confidence to learn other technologies as needed and seek opportunities
Great Program to Do At Your Own Pace
I was looking for a program that I could do on my own, in atypical hours (outside of my heavy work schedule and other commitments), and this worked very well for me! There were so many videos and hand-on exercises to help me learn all the new tech, and I felt very well trained. I had a weekly coaching call with an experienced engineer, and and several other coaching calls that helped me with my career prospects. And now that I've completed the program, I have frequent calls with a coach and other mechanisms to help me stay focused until I find my next job in tech. Great program!
Difficult but rewarding.
Difficult but rewarding.
Great curriculum, and the requirements for each capstone was necessary, as the curriculum was structured well for each one. Great community and amazing support. Best part was the mentorship.
I’m so frustrated and want to give up.
I signed up for the intro to UX course and I was a little late on my mentor email and it’s been a couple months now I’ve completed every assignment and still have no mentor. I’ve moved on to the career track and i experienced technical difficulties and was unable to start my classes on the anticipated start date. I did speak with an admission counselor that helped me get into my account and start. She said she would push forward something so I could be assigned a mentor but I never heard back from her and still don’t have one for either course. I’m paying thousands of dollars and I’m being held back entirely because of the school I’m completely frustrated. This is my future that I am desperate to achieve, I really wanted to believe in this school. But until this issue are resolved my faith is absolutely shattered in Springboard.
Very good experience overall
Very good experience overall! I liked having an assigned weekly mentor the most. What I would say to change, is maybe more employers contracting with springboard, to hire students right after graduation. Maybe spring board career fairs.
My Mentor was great.
Data Analytics Career Track
Springboard’s student support system looks to set you up for success from very early on – I received feedback and advice from industry mentors, career coaches, student peers, and incredibly responsive Advising and Support staff members. The curriculum is broken down and organized to help you understand topics while challenging you with hands on case studies. I especially enjoyed ramping up my previous skills in Python and Excel while learning to use SQL and Tableau in different business contexts and both capstone projects. I am extremely grateful for all the resources and connections that Springboard has provided me with, and overall I felt I had a well-rounded experience.
Fulfilling
I had a great experience on the Data Analytics Career Track with Springboard. The curriculum was well crafted encompassing both technical and non technical areas of the program. My mentor was amazing and always there to guide through all my learning process. My career coach was awesome in making sure I position myself as a exceptional candidate always. Overall I have acquired invaluable learning experience. Thank you Springboard Team. Great job!!!

Awesome course to get you market ready!
It was a wonderful fulfilling experience. Mentor, curriculum, career coaches were all extremely helpful in making me market ready with clarity in Data Engineering career path.

It was good experience with attractive subjects and many applied practices. I think some parts should be explained more for better instruction. Totally it was a fantastic experience and I learned many interesting topics. Thank you.
Applicable knowledge, interesting projects, great support!
I completed the UX/UI design career track BootCamp with Springboard. I had an excellent experience. My mentor was knowledgeable and supportive, the projects you work on go towards your portfolio, and the career services help you position yourself as a stand-out candidate. I feel like the program prepared me to enter the workforce as a designer and I thoroughly enjoyed the curriculum.
Career Changing Experience
Great Mentors and career coaches with superb course content. Heavily improved and sharpened my skills tremendously. Would always recommend springboard.
Wonderful and refreshing experience
The curriculum is very broad. I think that you really can get a very good idea of what means to be a Data Scientist. The material is designed for any person with any type of background to understand clearly.
Additionally, I think that the support from mentors, community, advisors, etc. is wonderful to guide you in the correct pathway to succeed.
Lastly, the amount and insight of all the projects help a lot to solidify the knowledge that you learn.
Plus you have access for life to the resources!!
This is about their UX courses
I'm a UX professional. I used to mentor at Springboard for five years. Sorry, would-be UX designers, don’t believe the marketing hype, UX bootcamps won’t do it for most of you. I wrote an article about this and I encourage you to read it. Search for "The UX bootcamp model is broken" on Medium.
Springboard has gotten worse and worse over the years. The bottom line for students is, don't get you hopes up. This bootcamp will NOT prepare you for a real-world job, despite the marketing hype. Don't fall for it.
They do an exceptional job of over-promising. However, the proof is in the pudding and the numbers aren’t pretty. They’re massively underdelivering. Fudging track-record numbers, they tend to prey on unsuspecting UX students by wrapping their offerings in honey-dipped, virtue-laden marketing ballyhoo, like “futureproofing your career,” and how their “graduates have been hired by the biggest names in tech.” Don't believe it.
No one should have any delusions about the fact that these bootcamps are in it for the money. Springboard is a for-profit, ed-tech startup financed by venture capitalists who demand profits before anything else. When we look past the virtue-signaling, noble-sounding slogans, Springboard doesn’t care much if a graduate actually lands a job or not. It’s all about profit.
Mentor quality has also dropped. In recent years most highly skilled UX mentors with deep industry experience have quit UX bootcamps in large numbers.
UX bootcamps delude students into thinking they’re going to walk into a job shortly after graduation. In reality, anecdotal evidence from UX mentors says only 30–50% of graduates are proficient enough to get an entry-level job. Many struggle for years to find jobs in UX largely because they lack the “job-ready skills employers are looking for.”
Myth, legend, and razzle-dazzle all rolled into one, Springboard splashes “build a stellar portfolio curated from hands-on projects with clients” on its pages — yet, no one has actually seen one. Truth be told, most graduate portfolios harm students because they’re teeming with “UX-bootcampy” case studies that don’t demonstrate the ability to solve real-world UX challenges. Hiring managers and design managers are not impressed by UX deliverables piled into a jumble of case studies.
The quality of education is seriously questionable. Students are on their own. Several online bootcamps just have students read freely available articles and watch videos in a self-paced, self-managed environment. It does not equate with getting a solid education in UX — even with weekly mentor calls.
The random collection of online course material is outdated, some of it is five years old. In an industry moving at a rapid pace that’s not very sound! Many articles are misinformed, outright wrong, and pernicious — selected by someone who doesn’t know the subject matter at all, and has no business curating a UX course.
All in all, I do not recommend UX students spend their money on these bootcamps.
