Tried buying silver, my credit union is not listed so attempted to get assistance on the process. I called sales, got Irene with the French accent and the typical dismissive attitude the French are known for. I also left a message for accounting and crickets, no callback despite follow-up request on their app. Still, they nickel-and-dimed me fifty bucks for processing. Avoid unless you like talking to walls and paying $50 for the experience.

I bought a product called The Fisch and initially performed the test incorrectly, which led me to suspect the product. I decided to post a review, hoping for some clarification, and within hours they contacted me and recommended that I visit several coin dealers to have the coin tested.

I also received a reply from The Fisch team, who explained that the test and results for Ag are different.

I highly recommend Sprott, TheFisch and the Canadian Mint. The misunderstanding was entirely my mistake, and I want to sincerely apologize if I caused any issues for Sprott. Also, they have excellent customer service. Thank you Irene!

The web to buy is excelent, the service too

Ordering and checkout was easy. Product came as described and within a week. Only wish you didn’t charge more to pay by credit card.

In 2021 I bought some gold and silver coins from a Chartered Bank in Canada and the experience was laborious and time consuming to say the least. This past summer, 2025, I was able to start investing again in physical gold and silver. I was going to buy again from the Chartered Bank - fortunately I thought to explore a different avenue. I heard some of Eric Sprott's interviews on Youtube and came across Sprott Money. So much better!! Quick, seamless and competitively priced.

Easy to use web site

Sales representative was very good. Purchasing and payment process is very easy and efficient.

Simple and easy to navigate on your web site. The weak side could be the crédit cars deposit you ask to protection an order. Your competion doesn’t ask this lind of protection.

Great people and great service

A company I can trust the product at a fair market price. Easy purchase options. Promptly shipped. But trust is the biggest benefit by far.

1st time using Sprott & you shipped me 250 oz of old, stained, dented bars. This is not what we ordered & nobody has responded to replace them yet.

The level of quality service and access to knowledgeable staff made me come back again and again.

Great selection for items that are hard to find anywhere else, eg Germania Mint products. Having a good inventory of products also such as Scottsdale products.

I purchased Gold bullion in my Questrade RRSP through Sprott Money. They charged a ~2.7% premium over spot price when I purchased the coins. When selling the coins, I found out they only offer 1% BELOW spot.

So I'm losing 3.7% on the transaction, plus 1% annually on vault fees. I would not recommend this service.

Although I gave this a four I am not happy that you use UPS as a delivery service. We have no UPS depot in Elliot Lake and the driver has not gotten a signature on the last two orders. I would prefer using Purolator or Canada Post for my purchases if that is possible. I gave you a four because Kellen was so helpful.

When I placed the first order it took over a week to transfer the money to Sprott. I notified the accounts department that the money would arrive beyond the 48 hours and they were supportive and noted that the money would be late. I also received regular updates regarding the status of my order. The entire process has been pleasant because I am confident that any questions that I have will be answered promptly.

A little over a year ago I bought two 1 0z gold maples from Sprott Gold. The date was Sept. 28, 2023. I had previously purchased twice before with great service. In fact, the dealer I dealt with was extremely attentive and efficient. However, this time the two coins I ordered both had small dents or gashes (hard to tell), small but large enough to be quite noticeable and annoying. I left a message (I cannot remember if it was email or phone) asking if this would affect the value or resale value of the coin. For some reason the messages never got through since I never got a response to see if there was any importance to these dents. I probably should have called the dealer, who I am sure would have addressed my concern, but I did not want to make a big deal out of it since I thought it was not important. I certainly was not comfortable paying for the expense and shipping gold back in the mail.

I went today to see a local gold dealer, Ottawa Gold, and they said the coins in their view were damaged and would only pay a much lower price because they deemed the coins to be damaged and would not pay the same price they would pay for coins in good condition. I was surprise Sprott would have sent coins from a Maple Leaf 2023 1 oz coin in non pristine condition, but I suppose these things happen in shipping. Also, the coins were sent as bullion coins, not as a collectable.

This is mainly a lesson for me. I should have contacted the dealer at Sprott to discuss my concerns in person rather than just leave a message on a weekend. Finding out recently the price difference that Ottawa Gold was offering between damaged and non damaged coins was jarring, and I have to admit made me annoyed I did not get coins in better condition from Sprott to begin with. Afterall, they were 2023 Maples bought in 2023.

I am simply writing this review as a cautionary tale to make people aware of the difference, and to not be shy to contact someone in person. In respect to customer service in respect to their contact person I dealt with they are exceptional and deserving of a 4 star rating for that alone.
