We did a private family trip to Sri Lanka for 4 adults and 3 kids with Sri Lanka Vacation Tours, for a 12 day stay across various cities of Sri Lanka. Highlight of our trip were Colombo, Sigiriya, Dambulla, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Yala and Galle. We had an excellent experience right from our airport pick up to hotels to sight seeing, experience, witnesseing local culture etc. Itinerary was plannes to perfection with due care to keep kids engaged, keeping weather conditions in mind. Our tour guide Sameera was very hands on, knowledgeable and experience. Shermila was great throughout the booking process and the trip. She was particularly empathetic to rush to accommodate last minute changes to plans for unforeseen circumstances - a great and necessary feature if you are traveling with young kids! Above all, based on my interaction with Mahesh, I can see where the team gets its motivation from and keeps up its high standard. My wife and me went on a 12 days private tour in Srilanka. We were taken by our guide Sameera. He was very knowledgeable polite and flexible, very helpful. We really enjoyed the trip for 12 days. The nine day luxury hotel, culture and heritage tour of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka Vacation Tours were responsive and flexible in setting up the itinerary and our driver, Rohan, was adaptable and showed initiative in rearranging activities to optimize our experience. All the hotels were good, a few were fabulous.

We just completed a fantastic 12-days tour of Sri Lanka with Sri Lanka Vacation Tours including Sigriya Rock Fortress, Pidurangala, Pollonaruwa, Dambulla Cave Temple, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Horton Plains National park, Ella, Yala National Park, Weligama, Galle and Colombo.

Our tour planner, Mahesh, and tour guide, Rohan, were simply excellent - the very best that one can find. They went above and beyond to make sure our experience was the best it possibly could be. All the arrangements from transportation, to selection of resorts, specialist guides, National parks etc were excellent and hassle-free.

A couple of points worth making:

a. Sri Lanka is one of the world's great destinations for sheer beauty and variety of sights and locales

We just got back after 12 days. Our guide and driver Rohan was the worst one we ever had. His english was poor and he was inattentive and did not know where things were and asked directions. He also spent too much time on his cell phone talking to his wife. We were most unhappy with your company and would not recommend them to anyone else that we know or might know. I am not used to write reviews but this one is necessary. I had an amazing time during my holidays in Sri Lanka and that was certainly because of the great organization and availability of the company. Great and fast communication during my booking and so helpful and understating while changing my plans (many time).
I had a ride for 12 days throughout the whole country and my driver, Mr. Amila, was such a gift. I was traveling solo and I have to admit that my experience was certainly superb thanks to Sri Lanka Vacations Tour.
