Incredible customer service

Incredible customer service. Solved an issue that was entirely of my own making but went above and beyond to help me. Would not hesitate to buy from this site again. Excellent product and even better customer service.

Poor customer service

I’d like to write a balanced review based on my experience with Standout which unfortunately had turned out to be a disaster. I placed an order 27/10/2025 for three items totalling £250 (well priced in all fairness). However, their chosen courier decided to leave the parcel in my building unattended and without seeking consent, that subsequently ended up going missing. Now, I contacted Standout about the issue who were rather responsive but 12 days after the event deemed it reasonable to suggest that I wait an additional 30 days for a Royal Mail investigation. The tonality of their responses seemed to have changed despite following their instructions with regards to the denial of receipt processes.

Fundamentally what Standout fail to understand is that they hold a contract with couriers of their choosing and the onus is on them to ensure safe delivery in line with consumer law. No replacement nor refund was offered and I have continually needed to initiate contact with them. So, for those of you who do intend to buy from this retailer it would be wrong to suggest that in terms of pricing they do not present themselves as a viable retailer, but in terms of problem handling be prepared to expect a rather poor remedial service.

Granted you are a small retailer, but with every respect and I truly mean no disrespect, you are transacting as a retailer all the same. GPS does not suggest safe delivery and this instance would be a great example that it does not ensure safe delivery.

Very sorry for the issue. We do send all orders fully tracked with photo and GPS delivery. As a small company we do have to log each claim and investigation with Royal Mail - we ask for time for the response back. As it did show delivery to your address and within your hallway.

Highly recommended!

Brilliant! I purchased a Ted Baker 'Harrington' quilted jacket, to replace the same garment which had been accidentally damaged. Fantastic reduction on the RRP, the item is also available at a reduced price on some other clothing websites, but nowhere near the reduction offered by Standout. The website and ordering process is very easy to negotiate. Very rapid dispatch of the item and sent via Royal Mail Tracked. Very well packed, including a full-garment-length cellophane cover around the garment, and received in perfect condition with no fold or crush marks. Extremely happy with every aspect of my purchase and would most certainly order from this company again. Highly recommended!

Avoid At All Costs

Product not arrived but the weight of the parcel confirms it's sent??? Returns to Netherlands? Communications poor and suggest various issues all of which are mine! Avoid at all costs, a reply says I'm been abusive?, So now we have deformation as well, having the temerity to question what's been done is abusive?

Very sorry for the issue with the order. We have tried to resolve and be polite the whole time. At no stage did we blame you for any issues. There was a delivery dispute for 1 item that we had asked some extra questions on. You have said poor communication but we responded to emails within 30 minutes, even out of hours. We provided a free returns label - which does go through Netherlands for clearance with our carrier (As your country is not the UK). We have tried our best to help and respond in a timely manner.

Super fast dispatch after ordering

Super fast dispatch after ordering! My first time using Standout - I saw they had an item on sale which I tried to buy direct from Deus ex Machina but was sold out. V pleased with the service from Standout and their Sale/discounted price.

Definitely Standout

Very sorry about that. Unfortunately as explained in the email - the item was mispackaged. We noticed this when we were packing the order. I am sure some companies would have just sent it out - but as we noticed it was a smaller size on the label compared to the bag we didn't want to send the wrong one. We immediately emailed and refunded straight away. Our dispatch emails are sent as we print our orders to pick/pack.

This company flashed up on my Google so…

This company flashed up on my Google so I thought I would give them a try. Great prices. Very quick delivery from down south up to Newcastle. They offer free returns/exchanges which is rare for menswear (I really do not know why). Will use again as all round excellent customer experience.

Shocking Service, no response

Placed an order and had money deducted from my account. Haven’t received the goods so emailed twice but no response, really poor service. This was a birthday present so very disappointed! Hopefully someone will respond at some point as down £50! What an absolute terrible experience!

We did email straight away on the day the order was placed and when it was being dispatched to say we found that when packing the order it was the incorrect size inside the box. We did not want to send the wrong one to you - we emailed and cancelled/refunded the order straight away. I can only think this went to your spam folder. Again so sorry for this unfortunate issue. We would have loved to have been able to send you the correct product.

Was skeptical but been great all round!

I was skeptical as they were the cheapest online by a country mile but the service from start to finish was brilliant.

Genuinely better service than majority of the big retailers.

Not heard of them before but now will check back in future.
