The store associates at Staples located in Shoppers World Brampton are very rude. They rush customers to use the equipments quickly without any concern or offering to help. The ones who are renting... See more

Staples on-line never has nothing in…
Staples on-line never has nothing in stock and you don’t know until you go to checkout. As well, there are now minimum amounts you have to buy. I don’t need 3 lunch bags. I’ll shop somewhere else. Used to love Staples but they are not the same anymore.

I canceled my order on the 3rd Oct 2025. Today 22nd Oct no one from Stapples could answer when I get my refund ( I paid by credit card ).
Stay away from store 217 Brampton
Avoid this store at all costs, employee hit on me, said he loved my eyes, I looked like I took care of myself, wanted to know what I like to do in my spare time, do I have any pets. I was at store 217 October 15, very bad experience. clerk messed up my printing request, wanted double sided he gave me single sided, did not bother to help, he left me and never came back. I had to mail everything and I paid double postage, not impressed. He was also very pushy, said he could save me money on internet at the end I would of saved 10$ a month, I cancelled everything. Was given no receipt just sorry and he walked away. Head office just said sorry, no reimbursement for expenses I have incurred because of this guys actions.
Helping customers
We went to Staples to print an important document and the young lady was really helpful to us, it's nice to see the company believes in doing for customers. Thanks Scarlet keep it up
I went into staples to use FedEx
I went into staples to use FedEx. The store clerk that was there was so unhelpful and not a bit friendly. I had to print a label there first, and had never done that. I was confused and found another clerk to ask, she was just as unfriendly. Won’t be going back there too soon, not even to purchase anything.
False Advertising of next day delivery
Ordered boxes to ship client orders out in. Staples states they have next day delivery. Amazon was cheaper but was 3 day delivery. Opted for staples so we could get our clients orders out faster. The next day we receive an email saying there were delays in our shipment and that we would receive it the following day. Following day comes and goes and no boxes. Now on day 3, still no boxes. This is not the first time this has happened. It is false advertisement for next day delivery. At least Amazon delivers when promised!
I bought an item online
I bought an item online, took my money INSTANTLY!. Received notification that the item is ready for pickup INSTANTLY!
Picked up item, brought it home and decided I was not satisfied so I decided to return the item within 1 hour of bringing it home. Sorry sir, you have to WAIT 48 hours to do a return, our system does not allow AN INSTANT return. I went back in the store, 48 hours later, processed the return and told it will take up to 5 business days to receive the refund, so NOT INSTANT?
Clearly this business is not on the samw level as their competitors where you can buy, return and get refunded instantly! Last time I do business with an outdated system!!
I purchased ESET Home Security Premium…
I purchased ESET Home Security Premium – 1 Device – 1 Year Subscription [Digital Download] from Staples.ca on September 15, 2025.
Order Number: 44476356
Total Paid: $33.89 CAD (Visa ending in *0406)
The product was advertised as a digital download, which normally means instant delivery — especially for antivirus software, where you need to act fast to protect an infected computer.
To my shock, Staples gave me an estimated delivery date of September 17, which is two days later. When I contacted their customer support, they told me this was “normal procedure.”
This is completely unreasonable. If my computer has a virus, why should I wait two full days for a “digital” product? Any other website provides the license key and download link immediately after payment.
I asked for a refund right away but have not received a response yet. This is my first and last time buying software from Staples.
Digital products should not work like a physical shipment!
Rare customer service
I went to staples today on Ouellette on Windsor, I was assisted by someone in shipping. I think his name was zakif. Anyway, he was so great helpful , kind and professional. He was awesome for no reason other than doing his job.
I asked for ink for my printer
I asked for ink for my printer, and the staff member gave me a box and said that’s the ones you need. 240$ it’s a lot but we need ink.
Now I waited until my printer didn’t print at all to replace the toner cartridges. Opened the box , no cartridges inside only the drums. Went to staples, they don’t take it back, because it was opened.
I asked a salesperson, and I trusted that salesperson, but i guess I shouldn’t have done so. Be careful when you go to staples!!!
I am not going there anymore. Usually I don’t order online, but from now on i will order directly from brothers. Staples is a big NO
no carts, no supplies....pity!
I always shopped at Staples for all my business supplies. However this time I was very disappointed. First of all they hardly had any supplies, the shelves of laser paper were almost empty. There was no 32 lb paper available, also there were no binding spines available, only one kind. Also, the shopping carts are gone now. I would have bought a lot more but without a shopping cart this is impossible and very restricting. I need a cane and cannot shop without a cart. I am also a business woman and spend quite a bit on each visit. I was educated that one cart costs about 140 $ and that the carts are stolen on a regular basis. This is very unfortunate, but wouldn't it be more economical to hire a security guard? I stopped going to another place in town because they eliminated the carts. I complained about it and - wouldn't you know it? - a while later the carts were back and a security guard in place. Without carts people cannot buy as much as they usually would. It is very limiting. It is complicated to shop with a little basket. I had to ask for assistance to shop and bring my purchase to my car..............that would not have been necessary if there was a shopping cart available. I am disappointed that he management has such a limited restricted view. Between low stock and no carts the business will suffer a lot. Pity! I will not got back there.
Deleivery service is the worst
Ordered a computer and they left the computer on the front of the house with no signature needed. Of course the computer was gone by the time i got back from work.
Costumer service said they were doing contact less deleivery. Pandemy is nit a thing anymore, so it just an excuse to cover the fact they did not deleiver in person.
I obtained a passport photo from…
I obtained a passport photo from Staples, which was not accepted, as the date information on the back was illegible and partially smudged. The Gardiner's Road, Kingston Ontario Staples refused to correct the issue. The photo cant be retaken as the subject is now out of the country, and Staples refuses to correct the photo back, without taking another photo, which cant happen, as the subject is out of the country, and will likely have problems on re-entry due to Staples incompetent staff and management.
Zero problem solving skills. Unwilling to help, and shamelessly. blames their computer system. (Remember, the problem is an illegible ink stamp.)
I contend, Staples is not unable to correct their sloppy work. They are simply unwilling to solve the problem.
Absolute incompetence, with a healthy touch of stupidity.
I shopped at the Winnipeg location on…Ellice
I shopped at the Winnipeg location on Ellice yesterday. I was disappointed when the first staff member I spoke to just pointed to the aisle when I asked where I could find the item I wanted to buy.
I then asked Chris for assistance. Chris was so professional and friendly! I was very pleased !
There was a bit of a lineup to pay for my items. But within seconds Kianna appeared and took me to the printing counter to pay for my items! She was so friendly and cheerful!!
I left as a very happy customer!!
We had the best experience today while…
We had the best experience today while In Staples in Richmond hill, we were served by the most professional and nice person Prabhansh Bhatia.
Thank you.
Staples is too monoculture now
Racist store. Very bad service at North Albert Regina. If you're a white man go in knowing you may be treated very badly.
unbelievable incompetence
I left my corp job a few years ago and kept my laptop - fast forward and it's time for a new one. But with out in-house IT/IS support I asked about tech support through staples when I bought my new device.
I can't express enough what a clown-car of incompetence this service is. I'm just finished day 3 of sitting in chat with them moving files and installing programs back on tje new device and we're still not done. Yesterday was 12 hours - six of which were a complete write-off due to 2 different agents running the swap incorrectly (TWICE). and today was 3 hours of just moving my outlook contacts over for 2 different email accounts. WTAF! Back at my old job this all would have been done over an extended lunch hour...
Awful coil binding experience
Dear Staples,
Instead of starting my day on a good note, I’m frustrated! Do you want to know why?
On Saturday, we dropped off the pages I printed at your store. It was my big girls’ language arts course. Your staff didn’t finish the job and asked us to return the next day.
I already made plans with friends. A much-needed break from all homeschool prep I’ve been doing lately.
So my husband had to take all five kids to Owen Sound yesterday. A sacrifice on his part, and the kids as well.
After church, they had already spent an hour in the van. Another hour and a half on the road strapped was not ideal, especially for our baby who hates being buckled.
Given the choice… Mira would have rather sketched. Crafted. Or both.
Diane nestled somewhere in the house with a good book.
Edward playing chess or Skip-bo, by himself if need be.
Joanna curating her play store with all sorts of things she will “sell” for free.
Izabelle snuggled peacefully with her blanket, napping.
But they didn’t have a choice. Did they? They need to tag along for this trip.
So to make the interruption of their plans sound exciting, we told them daddy will take them to the museum. I hyped them up while throwing together lunch. Reminding them of our museum trip to Owen Sound last summer.
Their faces lit up. Memories made them eager to finish quickly and get out the door.
When my husband called, Staples said the job was a quarter done. But we took it with a grain of salt, because nothing was ready the day before when they asked us to come back.
Yesterday, however, it was botched. Completely ruined.
The staff apologized and offered to reprint, cut, and rebind for free.
But the file is on my laptop.
At home.
Another hour and a half drive.
Another disruption we didn’t ask for.
The thousand-plus pages I printed?
The hundreds of them cut in half at home?
The hours at my laptop until 4 a.m.?
All wasted!
Because someone didn’t pay attention to where they were punching holes?
This mistake was completely avoidable — a simple moment of focus could have prevented this entire kafuflle.
Free reprinting isn’t a solution. It’s a band-aid. The real problem is this: a lack of care.
Was the staff distracted? On their phone? Chatting with coworkers?
Mistakes happen. I get it. But this?!
This shouldn’t have happened in the first place if someone paid closer attention.
Staples, this wasn’t just spiral binding.
It was hours of time, paper and ink wasted.
My family’s Sunday disrupted.
My trust in you betrayed.
So please — I beg you! Please take every job seriously.
No matter how small.
Because it matters to your customers.
That should be your store policy. Your staff motto.
Sincerely,
A frustrated customer who expected better
Photos with errors and no recourse
Made a large print order and all the photos came cropped or misaligned. Customer service said that, in order to help, I'd needed to provide a screenshot of the order preview page (which is only available before the order is placed).
Now I'm out $60 with a bunch of useless photos. They did provide a $15 discount code for future orders but I won't be needing it.
I ordered stickers as promotional…
I ordered stickers as promotional material for my company and the email I received told me to wait 7-10 days. It has been 20 days with no response. I have called both my store and the company itself and they keep telling me to call back in two days. I have requested a refund but they haven’t let me. My requests through email have been ignored and I’m desperate to get my product and money back.
