Staples
Staples - Trinity Commons in Brampton
I want to acknowledge and thank Pardeep and Sid in the Tech Department at the above Staples. I brought my laptop in for repair last Monday. Pardeep took control of the situation and very promptly explained what was likely wrong with it and a plan to have it repaired. I had my computer back on Thursday. When I picked up my laptop Sid was very helpful and kind. He was very patient explaining the changes to me and was very helpful. I was met with a smile from both Pardeep and Sid. No question I asked seemed like a dumb question even if I asked the question again. I felt like a valuable customer and was treated very respectfully by both young men. I'm 64 and not very computer savy but that didn't matter to Pardeep and Sid. I also spoke to their Manager and expressed my complete satisfaction and praised both of them. I only wish other young adults were as pleasant, kind and patient as Pardeep and Sid. Keep up the great Customer Service. I highly recommend the Tech Repair Department at Staples in Trinity Commons in Brampton.

Good Luck Geeging Any Help
Went to simply drop off a package for Puralator. Only 2 people in front of me. Left after standing in the line for 10 minutes because the customer at the counter was arguing with the staples employee trying to get a better deal on the little envelope he was trying to ship. All kinds of employees standing around doing nothing. I know you may say it's not the employees fault, but they did nothing as thd line grew longer all because someone was looking for a free lunch.
This is not new at any staples anymore
You need to.actually corner them like a pride of lions hunting for their next meal. The employees are incredibly efficient at dodging customers who look like they may need help. Been like this for years. Lately though it's the same cat and mouse game at the tills where you actually give them the money they need to stay in business. Best you will ever do is to get in another long line while one person works and all the rest stand around doing nothing.
Extremely expensive poor service
Extremely expensive for no reason. I had to print a 5x7 double sided basic flyer in a rush, they charged over $160, initially quoted $200 because this is considered a "custom job!!" They gave me a next day pick up time, they were late I had to wait, and the cutting of the flyer and the finish was less that basic satisfactory. The job would cost $40 with Vistaprint, you get the perfectly cut edges and if they do any mistake they refund you. They had convinced me to open a business account, not worth it! I will do my best to avoid using them for any printing in the future. Stable everything in the store if overrated and expensive when you can find the same at a lower price and same quality elsewhere
Dystopia
No longer a customer after over 10 years+ of shopping at 375 University Ave location. I am a self serve type of customer in my 60s with very minimum if any expectation of customer service. On July 27, I purchased a few office supplies and a laptop, later that day I called back to inquire about whether Staples price matched as my best friend told me they saw the same laptop at $100 less. I provided the information about the competitive price and the customer service rep could or would not confirm if they would price match. A simple inquiry to confirm if the purchase was eligible was not answered as the customer service person rudely repeating the Staples policy 3 times. I returned the laptop today and the customer service person called tech support to okay the return. The tech support person explained that some people replace the seal on the box and I replied I did not do that and I did not open the box, it met with the return policy requirements on the receipt. The tech person confirmed that the box was unopened and explained the seal to another customer service person. I was asked for the reason for return and was quizzed on who helped me. I provided the information on who spoke with me on the day of the purchase, what was said and how I purchased the laptop as well as what was said when I inquired about price matching over the phone. Before I knew it there were 4 customer service reps at the counter 2 of whom were looking at me with open disdain, (was it prejudice based on age or race..sure felt like it) rolling & narrowing their eyes, one abruptly turned their back and flicked their head stating something in a dismissive tone and one continued to explain their return policies. I stated I did not want to listen to their policies repeatedly as this was the reason I was returning the laptop. My tone of voice was exasperated at this point and for which I apologized at the very moment as I was frustrated with the service. I was clear that they have lost me as a customer even though I suspected they didn't care nor was I the first lost customer. Then a manager was called to okay the return. Finally the return was complete. When I left one customer service person said in a nice sarcastic tone of voice.. she hope I would come again. I stated I felt that I was being treated poorly because of my colour and age ...no response. No service is better than ill-equipped, ill-advised and bully approach to service. Good bye to Staples at University...sleep tight no expectations Staples will awaken.
HORIBLE DELIVERY
I'm 82 years old with back and neck problems. I ordered a special desk chair which costed me $ 2,200. the send me email indicating estimated delivery on August 6th, however, they delivered it on July 29th while we were not home. Left the huge heavy box in front outside and left me to feel with it and with the installation. I have no one to help me. I FIND THAT DIGUSTING.
If you’re looking for a one-stop shop…
If you’re looking for a one-stop shop for all your stationery needs, this Staples store is an excellent choice. They offer an impressive variety of items, from notebooks and planners to craft supplies and office essentials. The shelves are well-stocked, and the layout makes it easy to find what you need.
However, their photo printing service is a complete letdown. I visited hoping for a seamless experience, but it was just not that. The process was disorganized, the staff did tried but did not really helped, and half of the machines were malfunctioning.
While this store excels in many areas, they need serious improvements in their photo printing service. If you’re here for stationery, you won’t be disappointed—but if you need photo prints other than the self-serve machines then you should save yourself some frustration and explore other options.
Their service
I was at staples today for looking a good laptop The Associate name vignesh help me to provide information about the laptop he was very kind and very professional he provided me the details of the laptop because of him i found out that which one is good i didn’t buy from them but he gave me all information even he knows that i will not buy I’m very thankful to him. Thanks for a great service.
A company willing to make amends
There is very little that I would have said about this company that hasn't already been said by other dissatisfied customers. But when I wrote a review on Google, someone posted an answer sending me to their website. Then if I didn't find the answer I was looking for, someone would call me in 2 days. I shall not hold my breath. It is clear from that response that Staples considers itself far too important to actually serve their customers. The sad part is our Ontario government has decided to entrust them with their Service Ontario outlets. If you think you were getting bad service now, I predict it's going to get much worse.
Fortunately, all is not that dark in the customer service horizon. Many of our truly Canadian companies understand the value of good customer service. Let's hope they are not too few and far between.
July 11th 2025
The good people at Staples did call and gave me the information necessary to make my purchase. I went to the store today and had an amazing experience. The stuff was very courteous and helpful and I found everything I needed and more. Now that is more like the Staples I used to know and love. Thank you Staples.
Do NOT order from this useless company
Placed online order on 29th June. Website offers free next day delivery. It is now 9pm on 3rd July and my order has NOT SHIPPED. I have approached customer care on three separate occasions, They tell me to wait, they have three deliveries a day. j need my new computer, so would like to order elsewhere, They cannot cancel order until it is shipped they say.
Bad service, bad hours, long lines
Store hours are completely separate from the mall it is located in the parking lot of, they are closed when the mall is open and have odd hours which makes shopping here difficult. The shipping desk is often understaffed and there’s almost always a big line for Amazon returns/shipping or sometimes employees just leave the desk and you’re standing there waiting for someone to help you for 5 minutes when your exchange only takes 30 seconds for them to scan the QR code and take the box. Hopefully somewhere else locally will start taking Amazon returns and I won’t have to come here anymore.
Staples Powell River store are criminals and liars
Staples Powell River store, on June 3rd I had to bring back and return an office chair. The box was very large and an employee was asked to come out to my vehicle to unload and bring the chair back into the store for the return. My vehicle at this time was brand new (4weeks old) so I offered to help the staff to lift the box down from my vehicle to prevent damage. They said to me, no, I got it. As the dragged the box down the back of my vehicle it tore the paint right off all the way down to the primer. The assistant manager came and took the photos and told me the manager would be in co tact with me. I did not receive a phone call. A couple days go by so I call and follow up, only to be told I have to contact customer service about the issue. So I do this only to be told I have to send an email. I complete the email and days go by, only to be met with that it was sent back to the store to be dealt with internally. I hear nothing, so I follow up again with the store, the manager tells me they're going to email the person in the morning. A couple days go by and I get an email stating as per the store already speaking to me that they are not going to take responsibility for the damage because they said I have no proof. Calling it alleged damage... it is clear as day. Why should I have to pay the deductible when a store employee caused the damage. I am a single mother who works 48 hours per week with a daughter who has physical disabilities.. Staples Canada is run by criminals. I will never shop there again and I will be sharing my story everywhere. This has been a very unprofessional and unethical experience.
Poor service
I ordered a chair online during the chair sale. It arrived but had a small defect. I was told I could bring it to the nearby store (Saskatoon) to exchange it. Due to it being an online purchase, they didn't want to exchange so they returned my money. I was then told I'd have to pay full price for a new chair. I walked away without purchasing, completely annoyed as I had saved up and waited for the sale.

Personalized Puzzle
Ordered a personalized puzzle from Staples Print. Website was easy to navigate and turnaround time for delivery was less than 6 days at a very reasonable price. Puzzle came in a box with picture on front. Extremely happy and very much impressed.
⭐️ 1 Star – Wish I Could Rate It Lower
Staples (Pembroke, ON)
If you’re looking for a place to buy disappointment and attitude with a side of dusty shelves, congratulations, you’ve found it.
Every visit feels like walking into a group project where no one showed up.
There’s never enough staff, the store is a mess, and if you actually need help? Good luck finding someone who doesn’t pretend you’re invisible while they “zone” the same shelf for twenty minutes.
The Stores Vibe? Somewhere between “we’ve given up” and “don’t ask us anything.”
Management? Snotty at best, outright rude at worst.
The Floors? Honestly, I’ve seen cleaner parking lots
Trying to get something printed? Bring a tent. You’re gonna be there a while.
If I could give negative stars, I would.
This place is like walking into a half-lit storage unit with Wi-Fi and a sign out front pretending it’s still a functioning business.
Looking for help? You’ll get more support from a Tim’s drive-thru during a snowstorm.
It’s wild that a business built around “making work easier” somehow makes even shopping feel like a full-time job.
Save your gas, your patience, and your mental health. Shop anywhere else.
Hell, support a local print shop and buy your pens at Dollarama, at least you’ll leave with your dignity.
Do better, Staples.
Sincerely,
A very unimpressed Canadian who still somehow said “thanks” on the way out 🙄
Cancel transaction and tell me to buy again
I bought a ps5 controller during a sale. They try to deliver it once, leave a paper saying well try again tomorrow.
I leave work early to make sure im there.
They end up cancelling the transaction refunding me tellin me to just buy it again so they can deliver it, what is even that 😂. guess what, its not on sale anymore.
Very Bad experience-staples shoppers world Brampton
The store associates at Staples located in Shoppers World Brampton are very rude. They rush customers to use the equipments quickly without any concern or offering to help. The ones who are renting the computers and other equipment help only their own community. They talk rudely when asking them for help or they just ignore. This Staples Store has lost it’s charm due to these new employees
Business cards looked bad and were not done when promised
I ordered custom business cards using their online service. I added a logo saved as a png file and altered the background color of the png using the "eyedropper" tool to match the background color of the business card (off-white) as my file did not have a transparent background. In the picture I reviewed online, the png file background was indistinguishable from the background of the card. When I picked up the cards, the background color of the logo png did not match. I am debating just throwing them out. It may be better to give prospective employers my contact another way then to hand out a sloppy business card suggesting that I do not care about the details.
I also paid for same day delivery of the business cards. The site said if the order was placed before noon, they would be ready by the end of that day and instructed to wait for an email to notify when ready to pick up. This cost extra. By mid the next day I still had not received notice that they were ready. I called and was told I could come in then to get them and they very reluctantly refunded the extra fee I paid.
