I ordered a starter motor for my E46 M3 in December 2012, unfortunately it developed an issue in April 2013 but these guys offered a full refund and provided me with another uprated alternator the very next day.

All in all I can highly recommend and I would not hesitate to use them again.

My Nissan Primera broke down last Tuesday after my alternator had packed in but I foolishly risked the drive home with a dying battery......failed. The AA recovered me home but by Wednesday afternoon (within 24 hrs) my car was back on the road primarily because of this fantastic company:

1. A Google search found them easily near the top spot and by far the cheapest price for a pattern replacement alternator. It was easy to search for and pay securely for my alternator on their user friendly website.

2. On request they prioritised my delivery on a 'By12' service which meant I received it before 12pm the following day, absolutely free of charge. Despite a despatch from Devon to Lincoln, it actually arrived before 10am. The Item was perfectly packaged and in a brand new condition.

3. I queried the item by phone as it looked slightly different from the Nissan original but their customer services support was brilliant and the guy knew what he was talking about. The item was fitted by a local garage with no complications.

If more companies operated in this manner we would not be staring down the barrell of another long recession.

I struggled to find a starter motor for my Opel Astra GTC Cdti in South Africa, nobody seemed to have stock.
I came across the Starter Motor Company via Web search for the part number, and contacted them.
They were nothing but helpful, and I managed to import from the UK for a third of the price it cost to get it through the dealer in SA.
Delivery was quick and painless.

Needed an alternator for my Chrysler Voyager and already knew there were a few different examples. I telephoned the starter motor team to check correct fitment and then ordered online. Very helpful customer service, ordered the item late Thursday afternoon and received it before 9.00 Friday morning! Amazing delivery service and just what I needed with the car off the road. The Alternator was the best price I could find on the net. Delivered the next day. Sadly seemed to have a fault, but replacement sent out immediately. Replacement showed same symptom, seems it's not compatible with the VW engine in my Mitsubishi Grandis. No problem though, company refunded the purchase and collected the unwanted units. A real shame! First rate customer service though. Highly recommended.
