I recently got some dividend checks from State Farm. I deposited them into my Chase bank account. Chase is making me wait 10 days to access MY MONEY. Chase says they get a lot of fraudulent checks from State Farm. Is that true? Does State Farm issue a lot of fraudulent checks?
Fight for repairs
In November 2025, I created an auto damage claim via phone for my 2023 Kia Soul. I repeated numerous times that the front passenger door was damaged and was no longer able to open the door. Even the claim specialist confirmed the damage issue that was going to be submitted for the claim. I thought everything was OK. I took my car to Texas Collision Center to drop it off as instructed. The repair specialist walked around my car and asked if I wanted the small scratches and tail lights to be repaired as well as the front passenger door. I gladly confirmed and reiterated as long as the front passenger door is repaired. I left feeling confident about the repairs. Weeks passed. Finally Texas Collision Centers called and said the repairs were completed. I went to pick up my car and the front passenger door was NOT repaired, only the minor dings, scratches, and tail lights had been repaired and I was charged a cool $500 for minor ding and scratch repairs. I questioned about my door, and I was told the front door repair was never mentioned and state farm never submitted anything about the front door repair!!! Apparently state farm had completely ignored what I had repeatedly said needed to be repaired when I created the claim with them. I immediately called State Farm after returning home, and I was told that the passenger front door damage was never mentioned when creating the claim and they refused to fix it unless I created another claim of which they insisted I would have to pay another $500 for it be repaired. I was like you cannot possibly be serious... I was completely shocked and beyond livid. Since they refused to help me no matter what I said. I got off the phone and submitted a Better Business Bureau complaint for State Farm. About 2 weeks later State Farm called and said they would fix it without charging another deductible of $500. I asked what changed their minds. Apparently the BBB complaint lit a fire under their you know what. I was told that they listened to the recording of when I originally made the claim and said that I mentioned the passenger front door damage like 10 times and the claims agent confirmed it the same number of times. I thought well duh why would anyone submit a claim for minor dings and scratches and throw away $500 for something so minor. They admitted they were wrong and screwed up the claim because of miscommunication with Texas Collision Centers. After almost 4 months, the front passenger FINALLY was repaired. The point of this long a$# review is to say that State Farm is in the business of fixing what they want to fix despite what you submit a claim for, unless you are down for a massive fight to get what you want repaired. I'm sorry I do not want to have to fight or beg anyone to repair my car and it take almost 4 months for total completion. I have never had this much trouble ever in my life or much less ever had this happen with any other insurance company. I am still shocked that I was put through an utter nightmare for State farm to repair my car.

I am reporting a serious lack of…
I am reporting a serious lack of integrity and transparency at the Dave Shivers Agency. After a $200+ premium hike, I discovered blatant contradictions in my records.
The Facts:
Data Inconsistency: The office claimed they used "third-party" data for my mileage, yet they didn't have my 2024 smog certificate info—which is public record.
Conflicting Stories: Business Manager Alyssa Shivers claimed in a voicemail she HAD my 2025 reading, then sent an email stating, "We do not have that number."
Unprofessionalism: When I tried to address the $200 error, Alyssa refused to provide corporate contact paths. Another staff member, Jordan, refused to let me speak with anyone else, trying to force me back to the manager I was complaining about.
I have filed formal reports with the CA Department of Insurance and State Farm Corporate. Consumers deserve honesty and transparency, neither of which I found here
Claim service in NJ terrific. Prompt, thorough and helpful.
Great experience with recent claim with State Farm. They explained every step of the way what was to happen and what was needed from me. Excellent services.
my only complaint is the what they describe as their A1 bot messaging service. Trying to contact the kind and competent claims agent is the worst. It insists on voice then doesn't respond for almost a minute. Most unbelievable was there was no way to reach an extension given on emails and letters from State Farm. Filing a claim is nerve racking enough but this messaging service is a record breaking insufficient system. Suggestion : Maybe pay less for Jared commercials and invest in an effective, efficent and helpful messaging service for phone calls to claims agents THANK YOU
State Farm Is Not Trustworthy & Loyal Company To It's Customers
"For A lil While Now State Farm Trying To Sell Me Life Insurance But I Keep Dodging It At All Costs Untill Yesterday One Of The Employees Trying To Go Thro That Rabbit hole And This Was My Response!"
State Farm Employees Massage :
From our records it appears State Farm has paid out a total of $83,887 to you and your family on covered losses in the last 10 years. Do you feel State Farm has been unfair in anyway or not held up their end? Seeking clarity so we can pass information back to corporate on your behalf.
My Response:
While I acknowledge the $83,887 paid out over the last 10 years on covered losses, that figure represents contractual obligations under the policy I’ve consistently paid for — not a favor. My expectation has always been that State Farm would honor the coverage I pay premiums for.
If there have been frustrations, they relate to communication, transparency, and the overall claims experience — areas that should match the level of loyalty and financial commitment I’ve maintained as a customer. I expect clarity, fairness, and efficiency every time, not reminders of past payouts as justification.
I’m sharing this in good faith so corporate understands that honoring claims is the baseline — not leverage.

This review is for Lana Johnson at State Farm
This review is for Lana Johnson at State Farm in Wrens Georgia. I received excellent service from Lana during my switch to State Farm. She was very efficient and professional with her customer service. She responded well with every question I posed and helped guide me through the process seamlessly. She is indeed a credit to State Farm and they are fortunate to have her in their employ.

I have been a State Farm auto customer…40 YEARS
I have been a State Farm auto customer since 1986. I was a teen ager then. I soon will be 60. IN 1991, my wife and I married and she was added to policy. We had children that drove on our policy . In that 40 year time period, we have been accident free. We were involved in an accident on 01/08/2026. Four way stop , we were car on right and should have had right a way. However, State farm accepted blame for this. After one month at the body shop , they decided that they would total our car. That was over a week ago and we have been nothing but jacked around. Our Claims person Jacob Russo has not responded to repeated requests to send documents so that we can send back the title. They low balled the Value of our Car. Our local Agent is a good dude and I hate the fact that we are going to have to pull our vehicles and our home from state farm. This is the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. I have never needed them before . Had no clue that pathetic customer service that we would receive when we did. DO NOT BUY STATE FARM INSURANCE!!!! THEY ARE CROOKS
Katherine from State Farm of cullman al…
Katherine from State Farm of cullman al now in Decatur al? Withheld a 50000 check from the heir to give to his greedy delusional sister. She spent it in a day. They all lied about it. Complained to state farm. They gave her a promotion. Do not use this fraudulent thieving company
HOME GAS LEAK DENIED
We were told by our power company we have a gas leak.
So our gas was turned off.
We file a claim. They denied it yes a gas leak in our home. Denied because it wasn't a broken line. Just a leak.
Clearly not our fault. But denied. How ridiculous. F U
My son's parked car was hit outside of…
My son's parked car was hit outside of his place of employment. The lot was nearly empty at this point. The driver of the vehicle that struck my child's car, was not included on the insured policy. The owner of the vehicle (the insured) showed up asking to not involve police or insurance and that he would settle out of pocket. The police arrived and gathered information and documented on the report the insured's statement. The report clearly states the at fault party. I have submitted all documents and photos to State Farm and they refuse to process the claim because their client is not responding to their attempts to record his statement. I sent multiple emails to get clarification and State Farm has yet to respond. The incident happened on Jan 23. It is now Feb 9. If you are insured with State Farm, I highly recommend you drop them!!!

Do NOT get STATE FARM!!!
Do NOT get STATE FARM, I am warning you! I have been a customer of theirs for over 30 years, but when I got into an accident with my mother's car, they took well over 1 month to decide liability, made me speak to the other car's insurance agent who placed me in a trap, and then declined liability. They also told me NOT to repair my car damages when I was without a car. I paid over $7K in car repairs on my own and then I was thrown a whopping bill from the other car's agency for $10K!!! I am extremely disappointed in how my case was handled and I will be switching car insurnace carriers for sure.
Did not get any help with vehicle
Could not talk to anyone; the app would not work; the agent could not be contacted and after an hour of trying I called my son who lives 45 minutes away and he came out to help. I received a few calls from roadside but all different numbers - and because of so many spam calls I have to have them in my contacts; I couldn't add them fast enough to be able to receive the call.
After more than 30 years with State…
After more than 30 years with State Farm — insuring multiple homes and vehicles — I am extremely disappointed with how my first-ever home insurance claim has been handled.
My claim was initiated on December 19, and nearly two months later, there has still been no meaningful resolution. From the very beginning, the handling of this claim raised serious concerns. When a licensed water mitigation team arrived at my property to prevent further damage, the assigned adjuster informed them that State Farm would not pay for their services. That decision effectively stopped mitigation efforts and clearly demonstrated an intent from the outset to avoid honoring the policy rather than prevent additional loss.
Instead of timely action, State Farm issued a Reservation of Rights letter and appeared to focus on identifying technical loopholes rather than addressing the covered damage. This was a water loss, yet for more than seven weeks, State Farm failed to authorize proper mitigation or restoration. As a direct result, my home was left exposed to ongoing moisture, significantly increasing the risk of mold and further damage — all of which could have been prevented with prompt, good-faith claim handling.
Communication throughout this process has been poor and inconsistent, with extended periods of silence and little substantive progress. Under Georgia consumer standards, insurers are expected to investigate and adjust claims promptly and in good faith. That standard has not been met here.
This experience has seriously damaged my trust in State Farm. Long-standing customers should not have to fight this hard for basic claim handling when they finally need help.
State Farm !!!
State Farm and many other insurance companies are complete rip offs . Thieves in plain sight !! People pay years of premiums and can’t even get the support they depend on the company for . I wish the government starts paying more attention to these companies and how they function. Not fair at all !!!
I'm not sure why I've been paying more…
I'm not sure why I've been paying more to stay with State farm for almost 10 years. When I actually needed them they just basically laughed in my face.
