Poor quality zips and stitching

Sadly have to agree with those saying the product quality is poor. First bag I bought the zip broke but I blamed myself (maybe I was abusing it?) and, because I'd loved it otherwise, bought another. Zip broke again! Got a bit crabbier but at least there were 2 zips on the track so it remained usable, until 2 days ago a whole backpack strap snapped completely the heck off at the shoulder. It wasn't even the strap of the shoulder I most frequently carry it on. Seeking alternatives now without doubt, this is just crap for price.

Similar experience to many

Similar experience to many, broken zip from a $ 300 bag which is out of warranty. They don't offer repairs but a discount code. Why would I buy another product with poor customer service and quality. Your reviews reflect a lack of care to customers and your reputation.

Do not buy this brand

Do not buy! Purchased a voyager bag and it ended up leaving permanent black marks across 5 of my tops that I can’t get out. Contacted customer service and they refused to recognise it as a fault. No resolution to it, just an invitation to buy more. I would definitely avoid purchasing, massive waste of money.

No Communication

I purchased a bag online, and next working there was a refund to my account without any explanation. While I appreciate the promptness of the refund, it was annoying there was no communication as to whether bag had completely sold out or was awaiting more stock. Judging by the so-so reviews I’ll give this company a miss for future

Can’t be more happy with this companies…

Can’t be more happy with this companies customer service. I had an issue with a pair of sunglasses. They were so easy and efficient to communicate with. Had me send the old pair in and sent a new pair out right away. Love the sunnies, so stoked to have them! 👏😎💕

Absolute worst

Absolute worst. I purchased a bag last year, and the zipper does not work reliably. I wrote to them for help. They did not respond. I had to chase them for a response. They will only guarantee products at a loss to the consumer, and their customer service agent is the rudest, most condescending individual I have encountered, unless I decide to go back to endure the snobs of intermediate school.

I loved my bag, but I have big concerns about a business that makes customers do all the leg work and spend money in order for the business to back up a "quality" item.

Only buy secondhand Status Anxiety bags. It's better for the environment as well as your pocketbook and blood pressure.

Don't buy the tshirt

White Status Anxiety tshirt hemming around the neck twisted after wearing and washing twice. Rest of tshirt ended up deformed as a result. Absolute shocker quality which was surprising given the popularity

Disappointing Construction/Quality

Recently I purchased a wallet called "As You Were". I had the opportunity to see it in-store but they unfortunately did not have the style I wanted in stock. I ordered online and eagerly awaited its arrival, only to be disappointed by the construction. I did not notice any residual glue on the in-store items and if I had, I likely wouldn't have purchased. When my item arrived I noticed several (albeit small) glue marks. I have high standards when it comes to leather goods, as should a company that advertises their goods as "damn fine leather". I did post a review on their website directly but it hasn't been published yet, and I'm suspecting that Status Anxiety doesn't publish negative reviews. I would not consider this to be a scathing review by any means, just an opportunity to share my experience and potentially spare someone the same disappointment.

Absolutely in LOVE!

Absolutely in LOVE!!
Purchased the Wayward black croc wallet online. She is sooo pretty..beautiful soft leather. Package arrived fairly quickly and in good condition.
I have small hands so it took me a long time to find something that fits in one hand, and it was exactly what I was looking for. Be back to look at a bag next purchase.

Loooove.
I’ve bought from status a number of times now because I just their things. I have had my wallet for a few years now and it’s still in great condition. Recently I did a bulk purchase of one of their belts, the All Nighter cross body, the Before I Leave laptop case and an IPhone case, they all arrived within a few days of purchase. I really love everything.

Amazing quality

Amazing quality!
After reading a few reviews I was skeptical of purchasing from this company but I'm glad I did. I purchased the Comes In Waves and this is hands down the best baby bag on the market.
Super happy with the price point and quality of this bag.

AVOID This company seriously needs to lift…

This company seriously needs to lift its game. I purchased two items, one arrived faulty. I took time out of my day to repackage and then resend the item back. I specifically asked them to check the item before sending the replacement as it was for an international trip and I was now running out of time. After multiple emails and lots of wasted time the replacement arrived, it was worse than the original. It actually looked like it was secondhand. I again took more time to contact the company, they were apologetic and offered to send a third piece. I’ve patiently been waiting for two weeks for the piece to arrive. Only to follow up by email asking how much longer, for them to say it’s not been sent and they we’re waiting for my confirmation. Seriously!!
It’s just not worth it with this company any more. The quality for the price is well below average. Shop elsewhere, kmart provides better quality products and service.

I'd give a ZERO if I could

I'd give a ZERO if I could. Made an online purchase, only to be told it's out of stock and the transaction should not have happened and I am to be refunded. Fine, these things happen. But for some unknown reason they charged me twice, so duplicate transaction appearing on my credit card. After asking about it, they keep asking me if I have another account that I made another identical purchase with. Um. NO?? Then they tell me to contact my bank since it's nothing to do with them. 100% unacceptable and I will never shop there again. Waste of my time and stress caused disputing the transaction with my bank. They certainly live upto their name causing 'Anxiety'.

Extremely poor quality for the price

My first bag I purchased was a backpack, the straps tore within 3 weeks of purchasing. I stupidly bought a black handbag a couple of years later. I can only use this bag with black clothes. Any time it gets the slightest bit wet it leaks dye over anything it comes into contact with. Sweat, rain, leaked water bottles, baby wipes.
Will not purchase this brand again.

Belt sizing

I left a review about the belt I purchased on their website and it has been deleted, I emailed 2 weeks prior to that and never received a response.
My actual complaint was not about the quality but the sizing. Their sizing runs extremely small. As size 8-10 I am a size large (which I have never been in my life), and sizing is not clearly displayed on the page. So it was an expensive return to Australia for me which it the part that annoyed me. So beware of sizing as it is not inclusive or clearly explained in standard sizing. The one star is because they deleted my reasonable review.

Colour transfer

I was caught in the rain doing a school drop off, and the ink from my SA bag transferred to my clothes. This has never happened to me before, so I got in touch with them, and they told me it was normal.

So be aware.......

Great wallets.

I am replacing my old wallet of theirs with a new one. Both were great. The green one got a bit scratched but I had it for ages so hardly suprising. Love the bright colours and it was delivered from Australia in record timing. I find their number of compartments the perfect amount.

The bag

The bag, itself is beautiful, however, the succumb bag on the S.A. website (along with about 10 photos) represents a caramel, warm tone and the “tan” I received is more of a yellow, light brown. Not happy with the color at all. :(
