I drove with Lewis, and what can I say he was absolutely amazing!. I will definitely miss our chats. He was calm the whole time and always made sure I felt comfortable. I can not recommend anyone enough. Today I passed with 0 minors and was because Lewis had taught me so well. As my test was cancelled and moved to the next day he made sure he was available. We had weekly lessons and were something I would always look forward too. He also made the whole process fun, and he was so thorough in teaching me. Wish you all the best Lewis! 🚘

Massive thank you to my instructor Mr. Raja for helping me to pass my driving exam today with 0 faults. Your attention to detail patient were key factors in to helping me pass my first time. Extremely supportive and knowledgeable he taught me everything efficiently I need to know to start driving, I feel safe and confident to go on the road on my own now. Would recommend Steer We Go Driving School, especially ask for Mr. Raja the best instructor you could get 🫶🏻 See u down the road !!

I would highly recommend this school when learning to drive. I have nothing but praise for my instructor Michelle and everything she taught me. She is patient, funny and an excellent instructor who knows everything there is to know about driving! I passed today, the first time taking the test in Colchester, and am so happy with my experience. She turned my anxiety and stress when driving into optimism and happiness. So grateful!

Michelle was exceptional, changing my driving anxiety into confidence with patience, personalised lessons, and genuine care.
Her expert guidance led me to pass my test on the first try, deserving a 5-star rating for not just teaching me how to drive, but how to overcome my fears on the road, and pass with only one minor.

Learned with Raja, exceptional instructor! He's friendly yet pushes you to learn. With just the right guidance, I passed my test on the first try. Raja's approachable nature and firm encouragement make him the perfect teacher. Highly recommend!

Passed my driving test today with 0 faults, and I couldn’t be more grateful for my Driving Instructor Pauline. She’s been so supportive and helpful throughout, and has always made me feel at ease and comfortable while driving. She has really helped me to build up my confidence and I feel more than prepared to drive anywhere I want to now. I couldn’t recommend Pauline and this driving school enough to anyone learning to drive. Thank you so much Pauline, it’s been a pleasure to be taught by you!

I had Lewis from steer we go as my driving Instructor since November and passed my test today, I can honestly say that throughout all my driving lessons with Lewis, he made me always feel at ease, and gave me the confidence to pass my test with just 3 minors.
I can’t thank Lewis enough and would highly recommend him to new learners.

Steer we go learners Robbie was amazing with my daughter kept her calm, she had a few meltdowns but he understood her and kept her going on the right track. Passed first time! This was all done in 3 months. I would highly recommend this company especially Robbie thank you so much.

Martin is a great instructor! It was an absolute pleasure to learn from him, I could not recomend him enough! Professional,kind,funny,helpful and considerate are just some of his best qualities. It was an absolute joy learning from him!

Passed my Driving test today 2nd time with Michelle. I have really bad anxiety and Michelle made me feel safe and calm in the car. I learnt everything step by step and She always allowed me to go back or repeat something without feeling bad. - I had been with a previous driving instructor who threw me into situations and would get annoyed if I hadn’t grasped something quickly. - Michelle was the complete opposite, she helped me understand the theory behind everything and made me feel in control and safe. After my 1st test when I failed, Michelle comforted me and then we worked on my anxiety, she sent me videos of techniques and ways to calm myself down. - Sometimes I would get overwhelmed and upset and she was always there to reassure me and help me manage my emotions. - I honestly would not have passed without her and she is an amazing instructor to have if you have anxiety or are a nervous driver. - I was always made to feel safe and valid in my emotions.There so much more I could say - She made me love driving! X

I highly recommended Paul as a driving instructor. He really helped me to pass my driving test confidently today. Steer we go is definitely the best driving school with the best instructors in colchester.

My daughter had Paul for her instructor. She passed 1st time and enjoyed her driving lessons each week. He was very patient and calm with her. She has had a few different instructors with other companies but Paul has been brilliant, definitely recommend Steer We Go driving school.

I passed my driving test with Paul yesterday, and I can’t say how grateful I am to Paul. It has been a pleasure learning with him, and I always enjoyed my lessons with him. I passed first time with Lewis today. I needed upgrade my license from back home to get my UK license and Lewis helped me achieve this in just 2 lessons with him. Very informative & knowledgeable. Nothing was ever too much and he was very responsive and went out of his way to fit me around his schedule due to needing my license for work. Would very much recommend.

I passed my test with Paul today. He has been an amazing instructor. He is the perfect driving instructor and I will recommend him to anyone. Very encouraging and patient. I was very anxious when I started my lesson with Paul but that phased out on my very first lesson. Driving lessons have always been fun and I always looked forward to it.
