Just wondering that MAPI is used and the recommendation is to install Outlook onto the exchange server. I had to understand that mailboxes I want to restore must be mapped into Outlook with full access rights for my user. Doku is not very clear to point out which User to Use exactly. /EWS with impersonation whould be easyer und more reliable. Hidden folders were restored visible - like "conversations" - which is not the best result. Support is very fast and helpful. The product itself is easy to use when prerequisites are fullfilled.

Stellar Converter for EDB: In 2022 I used this software to extract the edb file recovered from an Exchange 2007 server. I was able to extract several mailboxes to PST successfully. I have now purchased the software again for a different purpose. This time I am extracting edb files from Exchange 2003 that was recovered from BackupExec GRT backups stored on LTO tapes. This is a more difficult recovery. Stellar is helping me through the problems, escalating through multiple tiers of support, sharing files and troubleshooting all the way through their dev team. This process crashes on the native Exchange tools for Exchange 2003 but I am confident that Stellar will help me through this process. I'll update this review later with the resolution from this, but so far they are very helpful.
