My mistake was again with the product key (computer operating system update, which caused the program to discard the previously requested lifetime product key), but very late the support team helped me again in my case: Szvatantra Sharma. I had a failed External Hard Drive which was not accessible. I Would have lost a lot of work-related data.I am not a technical person to do all the things, but the software was so easy to use that i was able to recover all my data. I would recommend Stellar Data Recovery for Windows to everyone. 100% job was done. Support was too helpful to cancel the subscription and refund as well. I do not need this best software anyway.

I have used this product last year after deleting a complete 23 GB sd card. Got everything back and all files in sequence Big relief there. well worth the $$.. Am waiting on this new soft ware to finish the scan and I feel very good about what the results will be. The IT rep. on the phone should also be congratulated as he stayed with me in trying to get everything running after a few missteps on my part . I was happy to be able to work with a human and not AI.! Thank You alll' Mike

I think Stellar Data Recovery is a generally good and useful product. Sometimes though I don't think I get a complete recovery of what is scanned. And sometimes I cannot open the files, even JPG or RAW when they are recovered.

Easy to purchase and install. Helpful customer experience. For my use cases: recovering RAW SD card and RAW external SSD it failed. I would like to see it developed so that you get a work flow to follow which takes you from making your problem device read-only, creating an image, then recovering data from the image. E.g. Step 1 - select device to make read only Step 2 - select device to create image (then something like ddrescue works in the background Step 3 - recover data from image with and without bitlocker encryption. or maybe rebuild new FS to covert back to NTFS or other from RAW. Even better 1-click FS repair for RAW devices including with and without encryption. I am happy to be proved wrong but I don't think it has this capability under the hood based on my experience.
