I used Stellar Photo Recovery for Mac to recover my lost photos from SD card. It showed all the photos after the scan. I and saved them in my laptop. Overall good experience. Recommended for photo recovery.
I came across this product about three years ago and I thought I could not recover my deleted (accidentally) photos, but STELLAR did the miracle of recovering my photos then, a second time last year and today. Their Customer Service is outstanding, knowledgeable, with a lot patience ( my technical skills are not something to brag about)!!! But don't think about twice, STELLAR will solve your issue of accidental file delete!

Stellar was there when I REALLY needed it. A great tool to have.
The program worked well. It was able to recover almost everything from a hard drive that had been partially deleted accidentally.

I lost some of my photos and videos, even though I did not re write on the external HD, but overal good, i am doing another scan hopefully might get some old photos and videos back.

Mac OSx, Apple Silicon, deleted photos from a random camera on an SD drive. Worked perfectly and very quickly. I had one problem of not seeing my photos which was fixed via online chat very quickly. It was a simple thing, a default setting in the software which does not show 'hidden files' which is what my scan produced. If this was default-set to 'show' it would have been flawless. This was the cheapest of all these kind of software packages that I auditioned, at AUD $75 for an annual subscription. But I really only wanted a once-off recovery of 24 photos. This was head and shoulders the best of the 5 of these packages I auditioned.
