Good to know
We understand that passengers come with luggage, so we won’t charge you any extra for yours. Car passengers can bring as much as they can fit into their vehicles. And foot passengers can bring as much as they can carry, so long as no single piece of luggage is over 23kg in weight. That makes packing a whole lot easier!

Great staff, clean comfortable ship.changes to cabin window coverings are a great improvement. Plenty of comfortable seating all around the public areas and bar prices at an acceptable level.

Always helps when the sea is calm, but this was one of the smoothest crossing I've ever made across the Irish Sea. Having access to Hygge lounge was a huge bonus and I would certainly recommend it. Loading and unloading was quite smooth and staff both at Port and on board were very helpful and friendly. I'd recommend Stena Line on the Dublin to Holyhead route

Stena ferries are excellent! Clean, well looked after. Staff are friendly and helpful and willing to help, they are proud of their ship and seem to enjoy working on them. Booking process was simple, and as a foot passenger check in was quick and border checks easy no long queues!!! Brittanica and Hollandic display EU and GB time but it's not clear which time is used on the ships and found the restaurant had closed an hour earlier due to EU time used

The Irish Sea crossings are so expensive. The facilities on board are good but the boarding of the ferry is haphazard. Often, we are one of the first there and the last to board. There is no advantage in arriving early. If someone has booked a premium fare they should be boarded earlier. There are not enough comfortable seats in the Stena Plus lounge when the ferry is busy, especially at night.

Staff were amazing in housekeeping. Very helpful.
Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was for the staff member in the restaurant that served me. Very rude, didn't ask if I wanted individual items with my fish and chips (tartar sauce and mushy peas) just put them onto the plate. I advised her that I didn't want tartar sauce, so she just scraped the food onto another plate minus the tartar sauce. No apology given, food was practically thrown to me on the tray.
I usually find restaurant staff very helpful and have had good service on other crossings. Unfortunately this time, I didn't.

Due to a family emergency I had to return straight back to Liverpool from Belfast on the same ferry. Everyone in the rebooking process and journey was unfailingly kind, helpful and supportive, I cannot speak highly enough of the team from the departures desk personnel, cabin services on board, cafe and Stena Plus lounge. Thank you for making an emergency a little more bearable, you are a credit to the company and Stena has become my ferry of choice

We were very disappointed with our trip this time. The pet cabin was fine but the “walkies” area on deck was filthy. It had obviously not been cleaned between trips and the hose, for washing it down was not only as far from the door as possible but was coiled up and couldn’t be attached to the tap, rendering it useless. Customer service were unhelpful. The wheelchair provided was for a skinny person only and the food we purchased was cold when it should have been hot and nothing like the description. All in all, very disappointing and certainly not value for money.
