Good to know
We understand that passengers come with luggage, so we won’t charge you any extra for yours. Car passengers can bring as much as they can fit into their vehicles. And foot passengers can bring as much as they can carry, so long as no single piece of luggage is over 23kg in weight. That makes packing a whole lot easier!

As a disabled passenger i was given priority driving on board. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The Stena Embla was clean and modern. The cabin was comfortable with çrisp white bedding and large ensuite. We enjoyed a tasty breakfast and evening meal. I can't wait for my next trip!

Both sailings plus lounge was excellent . Although return we noticed people sneaking in who didnt appear to have paid for Premium tickets , you need someone on the desk more time .
Return journey the tv in our cabin didnt work , and our Quilt cover was torn , not good really .
Overall good sailing though .

The Stena Plus Lounge was a nice calm space to spend 3.5 hours, but investment in comfier chairs wouldn't go amiss.

We travelled premium with motorhome, everything bang on time. Excellent organisation for boarding and disembarking, comfortable and quiet in lounge with good service, decent food and drink, and friendly polite staff.

Really good service on the 4am sail to Dublin. Food was ok but expensive. The sailing from Dublin to Holyhed was packed we spent the whole trip on deck as there was nowhere to sit. Staff were fantastic as always.

Excellent Service. Efficient boarding & offloading with friendly staff to assist. Spotlessly clean public areas, fabulous cabins equipped with showers and even a TV!
Outside sun deck perfect for a relaxing stroll and air.

Great cheap crossing. Wish I had a room
To go have a sleep in as you need to be quick onboard to get the best spots for comfort if you don’t have a room. Would suggest taking a blanket and maybe a small pillow and snacks on board if you don’t have a room as I was in shorts and t shirt and it was cold on board it was warmer outside on the deck. Other than that everything was spot on and the food in the canteen was actually quite nice. The workers on board are very happy and will help with anything. Thank you and I will be back next year.

Smooth check in even when busy, on time arrival and perfect crossing.

Outbound ferry was lovely calm seas, staff lovely. Inbound ferry, screaming children doing laps of the ship for hours on end. Throwing water from the toilets all over the floor. Announcements and reminders to parents that a ship is not a space for kids running screaming, throwing things and making a mess whilst they sit drinking and ignoring the carnage. Whilst not directly Stenas fault. A few reminder announcements wouldn't go amiss.

Everything was good apart from long wait before boarding at Birkenhead.

A great company to sail with. Would be 5* but the food offering isn't great and the standard wifi is very poor. Current reduction in Irish Sea crossings is also inconvenient but to be fair that is not the fault of the company. It does seem to be taking a long time to repair the berth at Holyhead hence the reduced sailings.

A comfortable route to Europe (although as a sole traveller with car, very expensive). I enjoyed the experience but check in at Hoek Van Holland was frustrating. They need check in booths operating for each lane of vehicles to avoid need to merge.
