All that was promised was delivered as and when arranged. The installers stuck to schedule to deliver a quality project.

After recently having a through the floor lift installed, we can honestly say it has been a great advantage especially to my wife as it had become a struggle for her to use the stairs. The stiltz team have been brilliant and extremely professional from start to finish.
The installation process was first class. The installation engineers were always on time, very professional, well equipped, very clean and tidy, particularly during the floor modification phase when they were constantly vacuuming to minimise dust/debris spread.
We can definitely recommend stiltz.

The whole experience with Stiltz was above and beyond anything I could have imagined. The teams who came out explained everything at each stage, thoroughly and kept us informed all through. Every member was kind and courteous and cleaned up as they went along. If I could give more stars I would and will not hesitate to recommend them to everyone

Well where do I start?
The beginning is a good point.
We were promised the earth by the sales rep and given all the promises of we will look after you we will never leave you stranded……please remember the last point if nothing else.
The install went ahead and I must say the engineers who carried out the structural work and the lift install were fantastic we couldn’t have wished for better.
Well this is where the good meets the bad and ugly.
The engineers who carried out the install had problems getting the lift to work but after a couple of hours yes a couple of hours managed get it going and said it was a loose wire on the control board, us not knowing any better accepted the reason, why would we not.
Fortunately my son who the lift is for, was not living at the house due to alteration work having to be carried out to suit his disability requirements before he moved in, how lucky were we because we came to try the lift 2 hours after the engineers left and to our shock found the lift inoperable. We made a call to the help line admittedly telling them it wasn’t an emergency as my son was not living there yet and the promise of an engineer was planned for the next day to come and repair the lift. The next day arrived and we received a call from the engineer on the morning saying he couldn’t get there until late PM and I explained my son had a hospital appointment that afternoon so if he could call back before arriving to save a wasted visit, true enough he call mid afternoon as we are on the way to my sons appointment and as such we would not be there so the engineer states he would have to get the office to rearrange the appointment which they would do the next day. Next day arrives and after many hours not a single call from Stiltz so I call them and after many many minutes I get through and eventually get an appointment for the next week yes you read that right the next week, to say I was disgusted with this was an understatement but that was all the lady on the phone would offer, I asked to speak to the complaints department and was told she would get them to call me back, many days passed and no call. The day duly arrived for the engineer to come and repair the lift and guess what…… I get a call from Stiltz in Pensnett saying the visit would have to be cancelled as a more urgent breakdown had come in. You can imagine this did little to lower by blood pressure and anger yes anger that Stiltz can treat a new customer so badly I was told the customer team would call me back to take my complaint and to be truthful I asked what year that would be? However true to the promise they called me back listened to complaint and after promises by me to go to social media and tell the world how poorly they treat people an engineer was promised for the afternoon. Said engineer arrives (nice guy) and after 2 hours eventually replaces lots of parts and gets the lift operational this is not the end of the saga…..
Around 4/5 weeks passed and no issues occurred with the lift until today 13th July and the lift is not operational and stuck upstairs with my disabled son who is also a diabetic stranded in the bedroom and unable to get downstairs not the best start to his new life in his adapted house we had planned.
We put a call in to Stiltz breakdown and were advised that an engineer would be dispatched as soon as possible, three and three quarter hours later the nice guy engineer arrives and instantly remembers the job from the previous visit, he confidently goes upstairs stairs stating we will soon get you up and running, well one and a half hours later he states that he is unable to repair the lift as there is a fault on the control board and he doesn’t carry one but someone will be back at 9am tomorrow to carry out the repairs, well you can imagine I was not impressed we have my son stranded upstairs who by the way is looking forward to the birth of his daughter at any point now, let’s hope she doesn’t decide to make an appearance tonight shall we, all of this caused by a lift less than 2 months old and at huge expense, I asked if someone is coming to repair it tomorrow where was the replacement control board, well it’s in Pensnett depot, less than an hour from the job but company policy doesn’t allow for collection of spare parts out of hours because the engineer does not have access to the depot of a weekend and neither does the manager on call, what an absolute shambles of a company they have turned out to be, they promise you everything and deliver non of it.
Needless to say this is not the last of it for us we will be escalating this issue to the highest degree possible.

The lift works very well and is a good looking piece of kit. The installation team were very efficient and keen to protect our home from dust etc. The team had all the skills to hand including plumbing and electrics - no waiting for another tradesman to turn up. Building work 3 days. Installation part of a day. Where they had to make structural changes to our house the finish was immaculate. We can't stop recommending it and showing it off to our friends. Possible eventual move to a bungalow avoided!!!

Would like to start by praising Luke Fitton who's been so professional and has gone out of his way to help sort everything out including costs, installation dates, rubbish collection and very prompt replies. Ryan and his team who came all the way from Bristol to London to do all building works were equally awesome, you could leave them to it and walk away from your house without any worries. Ryan even went out of his way to help us with emptying wardrobes, dismantled and rebuild it. Thanks as our health issues would have meant we would have to pay someone else to do it. Neat and clean work very professional 👌.
Now stilz lifts, we were originally going for full glass lift due to our decor however the cost was out of our budget and classic duo was recommended. Just be aware it's only glass door and height is restricted but otherwise everything is good including how smooth it is. Comes with phone and sim included, just add numbers for emergency and 2 remotes so xan be used to call lifts up and down, a seat and lights come on when you close the door. Way safer than a stairlift as have seen that and can be uncomfortable. Would definitely recommend it, way better than stairlift if you have issues with climbing stairs. Honestly it's God sent and looks good even if you're not disabled. Worth every £.
We are extremely glad we chose stilz lifts and thoroughly recommend it 😀 👍 👌 😊 😄 👏
Would have liked to add photos but no option. Shame

I made an online written query thriugh their 'contact us' website page requesting details of what exactly happens in a power outage because the information on the website was not clear.
I received one email and two phone calls within a few hours. The person who rang me was clearly a salesman. Although had my contact details from the website, but not my query from the wdnsite.
He did not have a pricelist to hand, he did not have a technical spec for the product to hand and he did not have detaile dimensions to hand.
He was most insistant that a surveyor would call to my home to explain everything to me.
This is a hard sell high pressure outfit. Beware of the 'surveyor" calling to your home!!!

Lovely looking lift that is both unobtrusive considering the functionality, and the minimal footprint of the Stilt columns themselves when left in each room.
I was kept informed at most stages throughout the process, and there were no hidden installation charges.
Any problems were addressed instantly.
My only criticism would be internal company communication and updating our address to where they fitted the actual lift….
No hesitation in recommending a Stiltz lift, especially with regards to quality and design.

Open to discussion on price.

I politely pointed out to the company how their full-page advertizing spreads contain an own goal. Referring as they do to 'half a square meter,' of footprint for the product. Their target market, the elderly, are unlikely to relate to this, having been brought up in imperial measures. They didn't provide a crib (translation) Not only did I never receive a reply, they couldn't even bring themselves to acknowledge my concern. Which was only trying to be helpful. I'm grateful for their belated response below, but noting there was no hint of sympathy or understanding. Having lived through the period in question, I take leave to disagree with several assertions. I, and many millions of others, don't do metric. But I merely mention the company cannot know how many sales they've lost by a refusal to include imperial. Surely it's best not to annoy potential customers at the outset? Wouldn't it have been better to say 'thanks for pointing this out. We'll add a translatation in future adverts.'

Workers turned up on time. Site was left clean and tidy each day. It is now installed and works fine and looks much better than a stair lift. The site cleaning contractors left some of the leftover material behind and had to return to clear up which they did few days later. The total time from start to finish was a speedy 3 days less than estimated. The only thing that isnt quite right IMHO is the door latch: it works fine and releases and engages as you'd expect, but there is no 'door knob or 'pull' to open the door from the outside. There's a grey painted metal panel covering the mechanism which can be grasped by the edges if you have strong hands. OR you can hook your index flnger into the door frame and pull. Then it opens!

The men who came to make the aperture, reinforce the upstairs room and install the lift were all very professional. They worked hard, cleared up afterwards and advised on positioning. I would recommend them without hesitation. We are delighted with our lift.

Stiltz lift....been a game changer for my parents but now the 12 months guarantee is up they seem trapped into committing to what looks to be an extremely high price for ongoing protection. Welcome views / experiences on the options on this. There must be a point where peace of mind should not cost this much?
