Stoneadio come up trumps

I was having problems with some equipment (usual problem with user manual translated from Korean via japanese to german to English etc). Chris at Stoneaudio took time to research my problem and came up with the answer very quickly for which he and his company have my gratitude. Stoneaudio are on the list of companies with which I will definitely deal again when the time comes. Well Done!!!.

Stone Audion - A quality team who support the customer

We were planning a large extension to our house and wanted an integrated design for the Audio and TV system. Alex gave us fantastic advice, warned us of price increases and we now have a superb system in 8 rooms. Nothing goes works forever and we have had a couple technical issues over the years. Jason has been a rock, always providing the personal level of support you hope for. When we want to do any changes or upgrades we will be straight back to Stone audio and I have no hesitation in recommending them. What a great company, thank you all for your help, advice and support.

Simply the BEST!

I'm delighted that I chose Stone Audio to plan, supply and install my Home Cinema at the top of my house. Alex is hugely knowledgable and always has time to listen to the customer's needs and look at options that are not only predicated on price but focus on quality. Jason is an amazing installer, nothing is too much trouble. He is always prepared to go the extra mile and he really listens to concerns and acts to allay fears during the process. They are undoubtedly a busy company but that speaks volumes about the quality of kit and service that Stone Audio offer. I, for one was prepared to wait the extra few days to ensure that my system was installed in a trouble free and friendly manner. I've been using AV companies since the early 70s and I can say, without reservation, that this is the best company I have had the pleasure to deal with.
I have no financial interest in the company and I haven't been coerced or paid for my review.
Thank you Stone Audio for supplying and fitting a Home Cinema room that rivals the Empire Leicester Square for visual and audio quality!

Great sound home cinema set-up

I have a barn with a home cinema that I use for complicated presentations that need illustrating with music clips - juggling between different sources - DVD and iTunes, MP3 clips etc. This is for a paying discerning audience so everything needs to be very slick and I needed a very easy-to use and responsive control. And the sound has to be BIG and well balanced in the space. Jason Kill of Stone Audio (quite shy but clearly knows his stuff) made recommendations that sounded exactly for what we needed so we went ahead with his plan. He spent the whole day making sure the set-up was just right for the space. I am totally delighted with the result.

Linn Akudorik Exakt Installation

My local Linn retailer did not want to install my Linn Akudorik Exakt system as i bought it used, privately. Linn recommended StoneAudio. How pleased I was they did. Nothing was too much trouble for them, including a 4 hour round trip from Poole to Exeter! They came and expertly installed my system perfectly. Linn insist an authorised retailer install this level of hifi which I didn't know when I purchased it, so I am grateful StoneAudio were so obliging.
I phoned StoneAudio to thank them for a job well done. I will be using them in future and not my local linn retailer.
I'm enjoying my music!

Excellent service

The advice received prior to ordering was excellent. The delivery time was a little longer than anticipated, but the installation process was flawless ... no fuss, no mess, everything set up professionally and with no need to read through all the operating manuals. A big thank you to Jason!

Fixing my turntable / new phono stage

5th October 2016. True to my word, I went back to buy a new phono stage. It was posted on time, and with helpful notes supplied. I've recommended to a neighbour!

I couldn't have asked for better service to be honest. I took a fairly old turntable in for repair, and it was done without any fuss.

Of course I looked around and listened to some great kit. It was really refreshing to be given advise without any pressure to buy! Naturally I did buy some small things though!

I'll be making Stone Audio my 'go to' place from now on. Thanks!

Excellent service. Went the extra mile for me.

I had a problem with my Speakercraft MZC/Mode system. Jason searched around to source the parts (not easy as the wired system is now discontinued) at a very reasonable price. Then, he found a video to help me make the repairs myself. Everything now working. What more could I ask for.

Shockingly poor service - very disappointing!

Based on the company web site and an initial phone conversation I had high hopes that Stoneaudio would be good, but sadly I was wrong.

Having spoken with the MD on the phone and then traveled over an hour to meet with them to discuss as small cinema install in my new extension, I was very surprised to not have received the promised quote for supplying kit and installing it.

Despite chasing them for the quote I have not received any replies, not sure why they do not want business. I had a budget of £5,000, I can only assume this is too small for them to worry about, wish they had made that clear before travelling.

Now I have read the other reviews of bad customer service post purchase I am glad I have found another supplier who is happy to take my money and has good reviews.

Good service costs nothing to give, but can be costly if not given!

Terrible

I initially sent a couple of enquiry email regarding some equipment and to be fair the response was good containing helpful information.
I placed an order on the 19th Jan called stone audio in Saturday to confirm and was told it would be posted on Monday and with me Tuesday! Great as I needed it for them! Tuesday came and went.......I called and was told sorry it's now being posted today and will be with you Thursday Called I their and was told....'yeah we havnt posted it yet we will do it today and will be with you by Saturday' it's now Monday the 29th ten days from when I ordered.

They are a shambles with literally zero communication unless you are constantly chasing them up and even then you just get lies. Very disappointed!

Do not shop here!

I bought a product i needed within a few days. 3 days later I called to see where it was, and I was made to feel like i wasn't important enough to speak to someone who knew anything about my order... I could tell the lady was trying to help but whoever was in charge wasnt too bothered. I was told somebody would call me back 'as He was very busy with another big order'. another 2 days and another phone call -same. Then an email - no response - then another email cancelling my order! Beware!

Top class service

Top class service every time we do business with them. Very professional approach. Would recommend for high end A/V stuff. Nice to talk to those people and they really know their stuff.

Really rather hopeless

All I ordered was a few metres of speaker cable, clearly marked as 'in stock'. I had the order processed by SagePay and received an acknowledgement from them but nothing from Stone.

I called after a week and spoke to an unfriendly sounding woman who acknowledged an order had been placed and she promised to call back. She didn't.

Thus far, nothing! On the upside they haven't actually taken any money as yet so no great loss (but I guess they are authorised to do so via SagePay) but it has put my project back for a while.

Avoid!

useless

Very disappointing. I put an order in 2 weeks ago for a Sonos unit, and after the acknowledgement email I have heard absolutely nothing. I send an message asking what has happened and still nothing... Will not be using them again

Avoid - poor customer service, non-delivery of goods

I ordered a small item close to three weeks ago. The order was acknowledged. Two weeks later I emailed the company to find out the status of the order. While there was an auto-reply acknowledgment of the email they never bothered to respond.

Thankfully the item was only some small Etymotic ear plug filters and not something larger or more expensive.
