No big 5 at Matswani
Nothing wrong with the lodge, excellent food and super service.
BUT, if you think this is a big 5 safari trip you are wrong. There are no big 5 on the Matswani reservation.
You can however pay extra and visit other reservations to see the big five, it is not included.
They say it is a luxury safari trip, but the only luxury about it is the food.

Dear Niels. First of thanks for taking the time to write a review. We do have a Big5 safari included on the trip so the information above is not accurate. I am of course also sorry that you did not feel that the lodge lived up to the standard you expected (apart from the food), we normally have very high client satisfaction on all aspects of the tour including both the safari experiences and the overall standard on the lodge but if you have some specific comments to what did not live up to your expectations we would love to hear from you on post@storeverden.dk.
