Had a problem with my new cooker that needed attention. Spoke to Norman McArthur on customer service who dealt with my call with complete professionalism. Made an appointment for engineer to call within 3 days of my call. Great service well done Stoves.
STOVES St 600 GH sta cooker hood
Positives: very powerful variable extraction
Negatives: Touch control panel awful and only works intermittently.
Supposed dishwasher safe grease filters are oxidised and the fixing mechanisms have failed. Can't find the correct sized replacements but as the unit touch controls are useless there's no point.
A new unit required, different brand I think, with actual switches NOT touch control.

Awful service, do not purchase anything from Stove
in June, I contacted customer service, I was told an engineer would call, 6 weeks later an engineer called and replaced the oven light, and left after 10 minutes, without fixing the problem.
I called CS, and was told the part has been ordered and someone will call me, 4 weeks later, absolutely nothing. I called again and was told the part will arrive at the end of September. Here we are at the end of October and still nothing, no contact, no email, total silence!!
I have written to Stove CS and given them 14 days to reply, after which if I do not receive a repair, replacement or my money back I will not hesitate to taken them to court.
Woeful behaviour from a so called luxury brand.

Spoke to Susan to at Howdens customer care to book my washer dryer in for repair. She was really nice and informative on phone. Pleasant to speak to.
Aftersales support is terrible
Aftersales support is terrible. Warranty issue reported on a Stoves cooker - still waiting for spares after 6 months and counting! Nobody takes responsibility for follow up, promised call backs don't happen I have to do the chasing. Paid for a premium quality product but getting third rate support.

I purchased the Stove cooker in July…
I purchased the Stove cooker in July 2025. I had an initial problem with the cut out switch on the lid leep sticking. Although they resolved this, I was advised this is likely to happen again as the cooking oils etc get in??
More of an issue is the heating of the cooker. I have to leave things in for over double the time, I asked when they were out doing the above that there is no problem with it. I said I would see how I go. It’s not going well, over half the time for all what I cook. I have to turn things up really high to get a decent crisp to roast potatoes. I am really unhappy with it and getting no where in complaint or customer care.
Additionally the fan, so not think people are exaggerating when they say how long the fan stays on for and how loud it. It’s ridiculous. I would never but this brand again. It’s made worse that I am still paying off the credit for a cooker I hate to use and can’t properly use.

New Oven - Modifications
Stoves Oven delivered with extremely loud, fan and ringing noise, faulty timer and thermostat, have been waiting since September 2nd to get repair authorised, I was told by Pacifica that one part would not be available until the 30th November, 3 days later the part arrived to my home address, when I called to back to get the repair authorised the Customer Service person in the escalation team was extremely rude. I would seem we have no right of reply and no realistic resolution anywhere in sight, how a company can provide such a sub standard product and customer service is completely bewildering. We just want a fully functioning Oven - nothing more and nothing less

New Stoves cooker kept tripping RCD on our fuse box
Had a quirky issue with our new Stoves Precision Deluxe Range cooker and spoke to Jason who understood our predicament and recommended that a service engineer should attend. Jason had an understanding of our problem, was polite, and professional.
The engineer arrived within the prescribed time and soon resolved our issue. Annoyingly one setting on an oven switch kept knocking out the RCD switch on our consumer unit cancelling most electrical functions around our home. The Pacifica engineer suggested turning on all of the working heating elements to 'dry out' any inherent dampness held within the cooker's cables/connectors following its' storage in a cool warehouse. Worthy of remembering folks...it worked!
SUCCESS! All now sorted, eating cooked meals, and cooker works fine now.

DO NOT BUY FROM STOVES. Our oven is under 2 years old, and has broken twice in that time. Each time it's costing us over £150 for the engineer to come out, Having spent over a grand buying and having it fitted, now having to spend another £150 every 6 months seems an absolute con. To top things off, I've been told that we'll have to pay £150 EVEN IF THE ENGINEER CAN'T REPAIR IT!!! So that would mean we'll be a family with young kids left without an oven, £1500 total spent in under 2 years of having bought the item. I raised the issue that we've had the same problem twice in 6 months with the CS rep, but they simply read out the T&C's telling me we were out of the 3 month period following the previous repair so there was nothing they could do. Very helpful. Don't know about what other people have experienced but I know ovens normally work for years and years (with normal household use) without issue. This company has seriously let us down. Do not buy from them if you want a working oven and money in your pocket
