Good price, poor order communication
Ordered a solo stove fire pit from the website.
Communication from the company was a bit lacking- no dispatch notification or notice of delivery window. There was a behind the scenes issue dispatching the order from the supplier- after two weeks of no communication i ended up having to chase the order (and it was resolved quickly).
Customer service was very responsive, but the order process doesn’t feel the smoothest (hopefully this will improve).

A very smart fire.
Although we had problems with the fire when delivered, in no time at all it was sorted and a replacement arranged for delivery. The fire is now wall mounted in our lounge and has really enhanced it. Looking forward to the winter when will really benefit from it. Just having the excellent flame effect will make us feel warmer.

What an awful experience
What an awful experience, worst customer service possible
Item we bought was faulty and they have no capability in returning the faulty item - even when discussing the options with them they (in particular Jamie) was defensive and rude.
When asked to raise a complaint I was told that the management would just say the same thing - so he avoided a complaint to be raised.
So still no option to use a pizza oven which is broken and like any other household doesn’t have boxes big enough to send back !!!!!
I am going to take this matter further but not hopeful

Can ‘t tell you if the product is good…
Can ‘t tell you if the product is good or not. What I can say is the delivery company you use for your large BBqs is awful. Gave a a slot between 9:20 and 11:20. Changed it to 10:00-12:00. Then to 13:00. Online chat then told me at 12:45 it was defiantly here in the next 30 mins. At 13;30 been told it’s going to be after 14;00. Wasted 5 hours of my life waiting for a delivery and they won’t even cancel the order. Change your delivery partners mate. Looks very bad on your company.

Final chapter
After a week waiting my order arrives and wanting to be balanced in my feedback my final comments on stoves r us is as follows :

My main issue is simple
On the website ( and it’s still there ) it very clearly says ‘next day delivery’ on orders overs £100 ( Uk mainland )
Once this week one of your team told me this actually means 3-5 days !
I had another option at the time I ordered but chose you because of you good reviews. As it happens if my goods arrive today they are within 5 days from time you processed order ( Monday ) and not when I placed order on Friday .
I understand the demand went through the roof but that should only impact stock levels .. not delivery.
On the plus side the team have always answered phones and you have intervened in last 24 hours with carrier to ensure delivery today.
For me it could all have been avoided had the website not misrepresented delivery next day . It wasn’t about free it was about next day delivery
I am sure the experience with this firm is positive most of the time , but I can only say what my experience was

Very Happy with the new Range Cooker
Ordering online was easy, the only niggle was I did not hear about delivery until I contacted StovesAreUs by email. I quickly got a reply to say they were waiting for it to come into stock which was 3 weeks away. I should have checked stock levels before ordering so no complaints really. The cooker is great and is working great too. When the range cooker arrived the 2 installers were very friendly and kept me informed of when they were due to arrive and of everything they were checking and testing. They took away the old range and new packaging and left the kitchen clean and tidy.

Slightly disappointed
It would have been a 5 star review if it wasn’t for how long it took the put the bbq together. I wasn’t aware it was going to be delivered flat pack, I thought it was a complete made up bbq. Apart from that it is a brilliant bbq, we had the previous model which lasted about 10 years, so knew it would be good.
