Had a first meeting (start of divorce proceeding). Melanie was very knowledgeable, including on an issue of international family law that not many are aware of.
Melanie spent time to undertstand my position, but also took into account what I wanted to achieve and gave me great advice that matched who I am (rather than taking a very corporate one size fits all approach, which was my biggest fear). I felt in good hands and listened to, so am going to proceed with her.

Fantastic legal service
I stumbled upon Stowe Family Law when looking for a local solicitors to help and advise me on an issue with my current child arrangements order and hand overs where boundaries were unclear.
Melanies advice was super clear in our initial meeting and Georginas assist with further advice and assistance with a letter to my ex partner to resolve the issue was amazing.

I cannot fault Stowe solicitors
I cannot fault Stowe solicitors. This is the second time I’ve used them, and had exceptional service from the minute I got on the call to enquire to the end of the meetings I’ve had. The first time I was with them was to do with a split with my ex partner where we had an initial strategy call a d subsequent service to arrange a declaration of trust, which was an easy and flawless task. The second time was with Melanie Quinn who gave my dad (and I) advice prior to us entering a mediation he has with his ex partner regarding a split of two houses he owns with her. Would not hesitate to recommend Stowe, and I never write reviews!!!

I cannot recommend Stowe Family Law highly enough. From the outset, my case involved serious and sensitive allegations and significant safeguarding concerns. Despite the emotional weight and complexity of the situation, my solicitor, Charlotte Kirkby remained calm, strategic, and entirely focused on what mattered most; my child’s wellbeing.
My case has been handled with professionalism and precision, clear timely communication and realistic expectations. I was always provided with sound advice, positive reassurance, and every step has been precisely explained, so I could make informed decisions under pressure. I was offered a choice of Legal Counsel and my Barrister has been excellent in representing my case in collaboration with Stowe.
What stood out most has been Charlotte's rapid responses, especially to attempted last minute adjournment.
