We recently used Strathclyde Roofing to re-slate our house in the Southside of Glasgow. Having used multiple roofing contractors over the years, Strathclyde are by far the most trustworthy and reliable roofing company we have used. Everything was professional from the outset with a detailed quote and scope of work, and excellent communication throughout. The roofing team were also great, very polite and careful with our house and garden, and Mark and Gavin kept me updated on progress and made sure any issues that did occur were resolved to my satisfaction. We couldn't be more pleased with the results so would highly recommend their services.

Having repaired our old tiled roof for years, we reached a stage where it became apparent it was needing repaired. The team at Strathclyde roofing kept us fully informed during the whole process, discussing all options to take into accout our needs and budget. The different teams worked together to ensure a smooth efficient process. A special thank you to Peter and his roofing team, who worked tirelessly through the most awful weather conditions, covid restrictions and tackling unexpected problems without complaint, keeping us dry and warm throughout the process. The resultant roof has transformed the appearence of our home and stopped numerous drafts and leaks we've tolerated for years with the gardens and grounds all returned to their pre work condition.

Roof was leaking badly in areas and in generally poor shape - had a few quotes and Strathclyde was the best value for money - the team worked quickly even in bad weather conditions to ensure the work was carried out on time - no complaints whatsoever - thanks!

Our roof was badly leaking despite having been repaired before, so we were looking for advice and quotes for replacing it. The roof is quite large and complex with several dormer windows, valleys, a velux window, a flat roof, and separate sections on a small garage and extension.

Strathclyde Roofing provided a free survey and a competitive quote, and Mark was extremely helpful and patient in answering the several questions and E-Mails that followed.

A short while after signing the contract, the skip, scaffolding and initial materials all arrived and work began. The team were here before 8:00am every day and worked diligently. They kept everything relatively tidy, sweeping the paths and drives at the end of each day.

After stripping back the old lead from the chimney, the team discovered that there was a significant amount of erosion underneath. They evaluated the options, including whether it would be possible to reinforce it, but concluded that the only safe route would be to demolish the existing chimney and replace it. We were consulted at each step in this process and the work was carried out quickly and efficiently.

At the end, there were a few small things that we noticed that needed tidying up. Our project manager at Strathclyde roofing performed a final inspection and took note of the things we mentioned. These were all fixed or explained to our satisfaction, and the guarantee handed to us before paying the final remaining balance.

All in all, despite the size of the project, the complexity of the roof and, the problem with the chimney, Strathclyde roofing were reasonably priced, professional, efficient, and did the work to a high standard.

A very good company.. communicates by emails (deaf customer)... once inspected the damages and quickly arrange to have it repaired and replaces roof slates.. all in less than a week... the boss still emails to ensure if any leaks through and ensure will do repair for free... I would recommend the Strathclyde Roofing to do the job...

Very professional company from start to finish. From initial enquiry I had a site visit and a tailored quotation within 24 hours. Scope of works was very clear and there was negotiation on price. From an early stage I had a good feeling and I wasn't disappointed. The installation was well planned and executed, with the only issue being the Scottish weather but the guys dealt with the conditions admirably and delivered a high quality installation.

We are really impressed with this company. We replaced our roof tiles, felt and batons and the whole job was completed in four days. They worked non-stop, and communicated very well with ourselves. The workers were mannerly, tidy and helpful.The scaffolding was erected and the skip delivered exactly to plan. The work was done to an excellent standard and the price was very fair. We had had a very negative experience with roofers prior to this and we were apprehensive about hiring any company, however, Strathclyde Roofing has restored our faith. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Recent total roof replacement by Strathclyde Roofing. From first contact with Scott right through to sign off and scaffolding removal everything went as smooth as possible. We were kept fully informed at every stage of the project. Contacted by Murray the week before start to advise of the programme of work. Scaffolders arrived on time – a great bunch of guys, nothing fazed them, work done very quickly and professionally. Materials and skip arrived as advised. Roofers were a little late arriving first morning – not a drama, contacted by Murray to let us know exactly what was happening. Every day the roofers worked till well after dark and cleaned up after. Scott was on site daily to advised progress of work, including on the final day when he invited me to inspect work first hand from top of scaffolding – quite a view and very informative regarding the work that had been done. Scaffolders removed scaffolding as promptly as they had assembled. All in, very good and professional company who quote competitively and produce the goods as described. Also, insurance backed 20-year guarantee for work.

I needed a report/quotation for roofing repairs to satisfy my mortgage company prior to purchasing a house. I tried loads of companies who all said it wasn’t a service they provided. I thought I was looking for the impossible until I spoke to Gavin at Strathclyde Roofing!! He looked at the job within 48hrs, gave me a concise verbal explanation of what was needed and then followed it up with a written report.
Wee gems are hard to find in the building world but this company is one of them....highly recommended.

Got a new roof on my house this week, delighted with job start to finish.

Recently had Strathclyde Roofing replace the roof on my house. I contacted them due to a leak which was causing dampness in my daughters bedroom and one of the surveyors was out within a day or two. Work begin within two weeks and i couldn't be happier with the final outcome, the roof looks fantasic and no more leaks!!! The boys who done the work were really nice and they left the place spotless. On the whole i couldn't fault this company and would highly reccomend them.

Excellent service from start to finish. The workmen were very courteous, hard working and all of the work was carried out to a high standard. My parents are delighted with their new roof and they would highly recommend this company.

Just had my slate roof upgraded to tile and I am delighted with the outcome. From sales to scaffolders to roofers all were courteous and very hard working they never stopped. I would have no hesitation in recommending Strathclyde Roofing to anyone. I am very satisfied with the result.
