Booked in a service with a courtesy car 3 months in advance. Got a call the DAY BEFORE to say sorry but it's no longer available and they don't have anything else. Rescheduled for 4 months later and was told courtesy car is guaranteed to be available. Only to arrive ON THE DAY and they said it had been given to another customer! They also admitted this customer had booked their service AFTER me.....

Very Poor Customer Service
Very Poor Customer Service to a long standing Customer.
My Q5 was booked in for a recall for the battery. I informed them I needed a Q5 courtesy car or larger due to child seats in my current car. I was told when booking this would not be an issue and I was to call Amersham Audi a week before to arrange this.
I contact Amersham Audi and spoke to somebody within service and informed them I needed a Q5 or larger. She said she would sort this with Katy who would be looking after me. I also explained I was looking into swapping in my Q5 for a Q7 and could they arrange for me to have a demo car for the day to see if this would work with my circumstances. I was told this would be sorted and passed to Katy.
I also informed them that the car was now requiring a service that had popped up on the dash and to also add this to the booking.
I was called by Katy today to confirm the booking. She had no mention of the Q7 or that my car required a service. She spoke with Sales to see if they had a Q7 Demo but was told they didn’t have any. This should have been sorted and I should have been informed the week before if this wasn’t possible.
I said I wasn’t now able to attend because I needed the larger car while mine was in. An hour later I was able to sort with my partner so she could work from home and I could take the car and have the loan car. I rang back to confirm I could attend but was now told the loan car had been given to another customer and wasn’t possible.
Poor customer service for a long standing VIP customer of more than 14 years. Think it’s time to move away from Audi and look for a car elsewhere.
