Very friendly and professional from the moment I walked through the door and until I left

Had the pleasure of dealing with Alan Prior of Stratstone Derby last week purchasing a used BMW X3.

After having a very recent poor experience with a well known used car "supermarket" I have not been full of excitement starting the process off again with another dealer.

However, what a pleasant experience start to finish with Alan. The level of detail over the phone from him from first enquiry was 10/10. We went over a lot on the phone and e-mail to ensure I did not have a wasted journey to the dealership which is a fair distance from my home.

There was zero fuss with my part exchange and just pure professionalism throughout the whole transaction, no hard sell.

I am a self confessed petrolhead and was nice to engage with a car salesman for once who had a very keen interest in cars rather than the usual reselling of finance products.

All in all a very positive and refreshing experience and the best car buying experience I have had to date.

I will be back at some point happy to deal with Alan again!

Brilliant service by everyone especially Kate on reception. Everyone very helpful.

New refurbished place but same old poor customer service. Not a premium experience when we pay premium price! Just as an example- my complimentary hot drink never arrived despite was promised someone will bring it when waiting. Not as if we go there for a drink but at least a courtesy when waiting >45min just to collect my car after service! Not planning to return again and will look at other nearby BMW dealers unless customer service dramatically improves at Stratstone Derby.

Excellent service, welcomed by Sarah when I arrived. Offered a drink. Served by Jess, who answered all my questions. Was polite, took time to listen to my hectic day whilst booking in my service. Arranged hire car, sorted service plan. Rang me when car was ready.

Stradstone were great but bmw were shocking 8.5 months wait was a pain

This is the second time of using Strastone Derby and again I was impressed with the customer service. They cannot do enough for you, they keep you updated and even question whether you need a service, which is probably unheard of. I will definitely be returning. Keep up the great service!

Brilliant experience dealing with Andy McDonald, no sales pitch, no hard sell just a decent and really likeable, knowledgable bloke doing a great job with loads of humour. Kept me informed at all times and I felt genuinely looked after, I didn’t feel like he was chasing commission or trying to squeeze every penny out of me.
If you are interested in a car at Stratstone Derby do yourself a favour and insist you see Andy as you’ll get a good deal and a bloody good laugh at the same time, brilliant salesman and really good bloke too!
I’m now the proud owner of a stunning GLE 350 and could t be happier.
Only criticism is he was listening to the Backstreet Boys when he picked me up, shameful……..
