Service hit & miss it seems & better transparency needed by HQ who try getting your data & cash.
I have updated this since May 25 and reduced stars I’m afraid because we were told to change Window Wiper blades, costing over £260, we naively thought it may fix the noise we heard from motor, hence why they said do it. Well it turned out the motor was on the way out, always was since we purchased car and eventually went on us when it was raining, leaving us with a bad situation. Having tried to call the dealership several times and left call back messages, no one come back so we took the car elsewhere to get fixed.
I have to say the service team Courtney & Freya @ Sevenoaks are brilliant. They accommodated our car being dropped off 8am Saturday morning and collected 8.30am following Saturday. Service, MOT and replacement of parking sensors & blades completed. There was a failed MOT on our number plate spacing ( Odd HR Owen never picked it up last year!) Stratstone just made up new plates to overcome this, just wonderful. (Extra Thank you 🤩)
The car was valeted inside & out before collection too…perfect.
Compared to HR Owen the experience was strong, constant communication, easily accessible by phone and staff knowledgeable. We will use them again for certain.
My only negative feedback which is nothing to do with branch but HQ is that they send you a link when car ready to pay bill via some odd company called Bumper!
They firstly have a link that says view detail of bill that doesn’t show you anything other amounts owed, then start off asking for name on your bank account which is odd, then ONLY allow you to choose a bank for you to pay CASH from your account and even when I aborted transaction and said NO to saving my data, it still save the name on the account. I found out as I went back into text link, to screenshot the process to share with service team. Freya said you can just pay via card machine on collection, which is what we did as secure.
I think if Stratstone want to push paying cash from clients, they need to be transparent with payment options and process up front! I would therefore only really give them 4.5 stars 🌟 but this is no reflection on Sevenoaks service team at all.
