Complained on 15th January about poor competence in repairs. Emailed service manager late January, it’s now 14th February & I’ve received no further communication. A mark of a Company is what they do when something goes wrong. Stratstone, Wolverhampton have doubled down on the poor repairs with a complete failure to A) Answer my complaint B) Reply to my complaint C) Attempt to resolve it. I’m now having to contact them again to inform them I’m going down the small claims court route to get a resolution because I have no other options…

My vehicle was booked in with the Jaguar Wolverhampton branch, with a courtesy car arranged via Jaguar Assistance. Initially, the experience was positive: communication was clear, I received regular updates, and additional work was completed while the vehicle was in the workshop. This included replacement of the HVAC unit and the steering rack and bearing, all carried out under warranty. The vehicle was originally scheduled for service on 10/02/26, and this was completed also whilst my car was in your possession. At this stage the process felt well managed.
However, the experience significantly deteriorated at the point of collection.
On 19/01/26, I received a call from the branch advising that my vehicle would be ready for collection as I was working at the time I advised I could collect the car on the 20/01/26. I proactively contacted the branch in advance to confirm that I would arrive around 12:00, as I was due to start work at 13:00. I arrived expecting the vehicle to be ready, as confirmed the previous day.
Despite this, I was required to wait for over an hour. I was informed that the vehicle was still being valeted — something that should reasonably have been completed the day before, given that the car had already been signed off as ready for collection.
I eventually received my vehicle at approximately 13:45, causing me to be late for work and resulting in the need to use 1.5 hours of my own annual leave. This was both inconvenient and entirely avoidable.
In addition, the quality of the valet was below the standard I would expect from a premium brand. The clean appeared rushed, and my vehicle mats had been incorrectly swapped with another customer’s. As a result, the retaining hooks were damaged and torn, leaving the mats unusable in their intended position.
While I acknowledge and appreciate the warranty work carried out and the communication during the repair phase, the collection experience fell well below the level of service I would expect from Jaguar. The delays, lack of preparation, and damage to vehicle components have left me disappointed with the latter part of my experience.

My vehicle had been in the garage for 4 months, they didn’t want to give me a courtesy car because they never had cars available for some reason. Once they given me a courtesy car the car broke down same day, I had to get it recovered back to my house, when I asked for a reimbursement “John” said no we can’t. But I explained it was the courtesy car and it’s not my fault !
My car initially broke down on the 13th of October, I dropped the car to them on the 14th, they had the car all up until December when they gave the car back,
However I picked up the car Friday, dropped the car back Monday as it broke down again, then they said it was fixed Tuesday so I collected it the car, then it broke down on Wednesday dropped it back, they said it’s fixed on Wednesday evening so I collected it again, broke again so I dropped it back Thursday,
That’s when they given me a courtesy car that broke down 3 hours after getting the vehicle, bear in mind the car was a 25 plate. That was a very stressful week, I told them please keep the car and fix the car properly as it is under warranty.
After we got that sorted Range Rover avoided my calls when I was calling in, I called multiple times and they just let th call ring for 6-7 minutes +, I called from different number and they answered straight away, I was in the show room and called them, they still didn’t answer, when I raised the problem, all they said was we will investigate ??
On top of that, one of their employees named “Zoe” mimicked the way I spoke to her other colleagues as one of their colleagues was a family friend of mine and they told me,
One of their mangers names John spoke in a wrong manner and wasn’t polite, I felt discriminated and singled out
I’ve never experienced this in any dealership I have visited, I raised the issue multiple times at the show room but no one took it serious, and kept saying the car will be done soon.

Picked the car up following an engine breakdown to have a fuel line leak breaking down on the m6 4 miles after picking the car back up. Several hours on the M6. Towed my car and left it outside my house with fuel leak. Fixed next morning only to breakdown on m6 same morning. No courtesy car given from the Wednesday. Rang up on Saturday to try and get a car for work. Lodged complaint still not answered or replied. Consistently poor

I recently purchased an approved Jaguar F-Type from Jaguar Wolverhampton. The purchase process was handled professionally by Neil Perry from start to finish. I would recommend this dealership to anyone thinking of purchasing an approved or new Jaguar and look out for Neil Parry to ensure a great customer experience.

Recently took my car in for a oil & filter change due to my service warning light coming on, Service was not due yet, but due to doing short duration journeys was told this affects the consistency of the oil. This work was done whilst I waited, the service person I dealt with was a gentleman called Keith Martin, I have dealt with Keith on a number of occasions when I’ve visited Landrover Wolverhampton, and although I have no doubt the other peop,e dealing with servicing as excellent, I am always pleased when I am dealt with by Keith, he goes the extra mile and his customer service is second to none, this is the main reason I continue to use Landrover Wolverhampton. thanks Keith you are a credit to Stratstone 👍👏👏👏

I wish I’d read the Google reviews before buying from here.
Hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had and I wouldn’t have a car from Wolverhampton even if it was free.
Within 48hrs of leaving the garage my car broke down and when I say broke down, the engine literally cuts out whilst driving it. Buying from a main dealer makes you think you’d get some support, how wrong could I be.. Once that car left the showroom they didn’t want to know about it.
I collected the car in September, it’s the first of January tomorrow and the car is still in a garage with faults. I have no courtesy car, no compensation, no returned calls and ignore my emails so pointless when they respond to all negative ratings asking to send an email.
It’s now with solicitors rejecting the vehicle as they don’t reply to communication and just refer to their solicitors so it’s clear they’re used to complaints and a history of ignoring complaints looking at previous reviews.
Never in a million years would I buy anything from this garage ever again.

On the day the Salesman did a great job - It was the upgrade that I wanted. The salesman had great knowledge of the product answered all my question and was very positive. The trade in of my vehicle to the handover of the new car was very smooth. James Barney did a great job.

JLR should never have Stratstone as a dealership, they took four months and previously I have had to remove cars from them to get it repaired.
