Amazing helpful friendly staff, loved the process of collection, car under wraps, welcome table, refreshments. And how staff interacted with our family. A minor issue came up which was dealt with professionally

The car arrived with several issues from incorrect number plate preventing me from driving the vehicle to both internal and external scratches on the vehicle. No QC had been completed prior to dispatch. Poor customer service after purchase, overall a poor experience with Porsche.

My experience of dealing with Porsche Sutton Coldfield, has been exhausting and frustrating to say the least. I found there service to be well below the standard I would expect or the standard that the manufacturer would expect.
I own a 911 Turbo S and in January of this year I had a service warning reminder pop up on my dash. I went to Porsche Sutton Coldfield to arrange a date for this to be done. They gave me a quote and agreed March 6th.
I went in March 5th, to drop my car off, they had no record of my booking? I showed them my printed quote, which also had written on the date of agreed booking.
They said they had available service space and would get it done that day or the day after.
3 days later I was chasing and asking for an update, no one had tried to contact me with any update, I was told there was a major oil leak on the PDCC, strange that? as my garage had no oil on the floor and the car was less than 2 years old and had only covered 1400 miles?
Anyway they said they would do it under warranty, one week later I was chasing again, again none had thought to give me an update.
Finally I got the car back, only then to have further problems, that weren't there before.
The alarm keep going off in my garage, I kept getting notifications from Porsche (tracker) that my car had potentially been stolen (strange as it was still sitting in my garage). When I went to open my car after getting the notification, the car (battery) was dead/flat, so I called the AA as soon as they applied power the car, it came back to life and everything was fine (the AA man said he'd never experienced this before and he was baffled), the voltage on the battery was fine, It was as if the car went into sleep mode. The same thing kept happening, obviously there was a fault with the alarm or the auxillary battery? either was it was something that hadn't happened before and has only happened since it was serviced.
Porsche Sutton Coldfield have it back in the garage, its been with them for 9 days now. I have called them for update 4 times, I have popped into the garage to speak to them direct, thinking I might get further with them face to face.
Even now (Friday) after going in on Tuesday and being assured they would get the car in and give me an update, with 48 hours (which I did not get) I'm sat waiting for a call back after calling them again over an hour ago.
I have to say, I think the service is below par, there ability to do what you pay them for is shocking, there ability to keep you updated is shocking. I will never use Porsche Sutton Coldfield again and I'm unsure whether I'd buy another Porsche again.
I paid just under £200,000 for this car... I'm not saying I deserve a better service than someone who paid £40,000 for a car... No I'm saying we all deserve a good service, regardless of what you pay, its just more shocking thats it Porsche giving this poor service.

When I checked the car in for its service we agreed that I would pick it up on the Saturday morning but when I got a call informing me it was complete on the Friday I was pushed to come and pick it up with it being emphasised a number of times that there isn’t anyone available from the service department available on Saturday even though I agreed the Saturday collection with a service representative and this was written on the service document that I had signed. This was quite inconvenient as I was not close to the garage and had to cut short my day out.
Also the vehicle health check video was of dreadful quality as the audio was terrible and what was said could not be heard with the person doing it not speaking clearly, other people talking and engines running. It also seemed to be cut short as only the tyres and breaks were shown, nothing about the suspension, underbody tray, exhaust etc which has been included in other videos.

write in relation to my recent servicing experience with your porsche dealership in Sutton coldfield.
For context, The vehicle started to develop a small fault with the gearbox in late January time and I arranged for it to go to your Sutton Coldfield dealership for investigation and possible remedial repairs. At the same time I notified them that the heaters were intermittently working.
On arrival to the dealership, the lady who greeted me was unaware and very blasé about my vehicle having a booking and after numerous conversations accepted the vehicle for repairs.
The vehicle was left with them for circa 2 weeks without any phone call from the dealership notifying me of what issues they had found.
I called them on the Monday and left a message, but the return call was not received. I rang the following day, the Tuesday and again left a message and received no call back. I called again the same day at around 3pm and was told my advisor was on lunch and would receive a call back. This call never came.
On the Thursday I finally called and spoke to someone who said that the vehicle was having a new gear box and they would be in touch.
After a week or so had passed, I was called to notify me that the vehicle was ready to collect and had received a complimentary valet and was repaired as per our telephone conversation and subsequent conversations at the point of drop off.
On arrival I waited whilst the vehicle was fetched round for me, however after immediately glancing at the vehicle I could clearly see that no valet had taken place, the interior was still dirty including the mats and dashboard and that the tyres were still muddied from my journey to them prior to the repair and certainly hadn't seen soapy water.
All in all I have to say the service i received was not befitting a dealership such as porsche and was more aligned to what I would expect from a used car supermarket.
I am still awaiting confirmation as promised by the advisor of the new gearbox fitment so as I can store it with the vehicles servicing records as well as an update as to exactly what remedial work has or has not been done to the heaters.
All in all, not very good. Maybe if I was purchasing a new porsche I might of received more care and attention, however that is left to debate.
I look forward to receiving your update on the outstanding matters and response

Had a main service done including changing brake pads and discs and one week later discovered brake fluid leaking from bleeding nipple, clearly the technician didn’t tighten the nipple properly.
