Have a 2019 crosstrek with JUST over…

Have a 2019 crosstrek with JUST over 100k miles. Subaru is now telling me that there is an "engine leak" that requires a$6k repair. Never had this issue with any other car maker. (Chevy, Ford, Honda, Acura, Hyundai...)

After sending a Complaint to Subaru of America... they confidently claimed "the vehicle is out of warranty and we will not be offering you any support on this matter."

Class action lawsuit vibes.

Subaru is trash and they lie about the quality of their vehicles. EXTREMELY overpriced for the reliability.

It was a long run

So im in the WRX platform, my dad and I have loved the platform since the 2015 WRX dropped, he owned one when they dropped and my self bought a great used 2015 WRX in 2022 with high mileage, car took hit after hit with no issues and so did my dad’s. Sadly I had to part ways with it in 2025 due to my self moving out the states. So 2025 when I get back home I decide I wanted to hop unto the new models, bought a 2022 WRX used, car had its issues, the Subaru dealership here didnt seem concerned over my concerns pertaining the car’s issues but I decided that due to the low miles maybe that maybe I wouldn’t of had ran into so many issues any time soon, story short, my evaporator had been leaking since I bought the car but due to conditions I was not able to perceive the smells. My family members had told me couple of times that the car was smelling oily but I decided since I didnt perceive it that I was good , apparently they come with defects and my warranty for it expired conveniently until it completely leaked the refrigerant through the dashboard. Now I have a broken evaporator until I can afford to fix it. If you are in the WRX or Forester platform I suggest you keep an eye on it. Im done with Subaru, but hope you all get as far as me and my dad got with the brand.

Safety is #1 with Subaru

We have had our Subaru Outback Onyx edition since ‘24 when we bought it new, and absolutely love it. Great car, with the electronic eye it almost drives itself, I was veering to one side on the expressway and the car corrected itself bring me back to my original lane.

All-wheel drive, good power and good fuel mileage are an impressive combination

My 2022 Subaru Crosstrek Limited has been a great vehicle. It combines all-wheel drive with decent power and good fuel mileage. The X-mode button increases traction on hills, in snow or mud, or when driving off-road. It is comfortable, reliable and well-engineered. It is the perfect size for my family and my garage. I am waiting for Subaru to offer an STI version of the current WRX in the USA. Interesting that I am already planning my next Subaru purchase. I must be a satisfied customer!
