Beware I tried to book flights twice this morning first time on a debit card, I approved the payment then the website said it could not process. Money is pending out of my account. Tired again this time using faster payment. Big mistake the website failed they payment has been sent to there bank account and no one is willing to help me. DO not use faster payment as you will never get it back. Scam over £1k gone and no flights

Booked 4 return flights to travel from Dalyan, Turkey to Newcastle in September 2026. Spent days sorting out travel arrangements, booking villas, and time off work. Then, out of the blue SunXpress email, saying the flights have been cancelled and our tickets have been transferred to the following day!! They just don't give a s**t about how much stress and inconvenience they cause, having to completely rearrange all your plans! In the end we decided that we couldn't trust them in case they did the same thing again and booked the day before with TUI, even though it was £100 more each - worth paying for the peace of mind! Will definitely not even considering using SunXpress again after this experience!

This flight was okay. We started on time. My seat was okay. We arrived too early and had to turn a round before landing ahead of schedule. Talk with the airport management of DTM. The treatment of passengers is not human.

Date: 12 March 2026
I requested and received confirmation for a baby bassinet (Baby Basket) for my infant, and it was clearly shown in my booking. However, upon boarding, I was told that no bassinet was available.
Even worse, the cabin crew was unhelpful and dismissive, telling me to “send an email for a refund” instead of trying to assist.
Traveling with an infant without the promised bassinet was extremely uncomfortable. A confirmed service should not be ignored like this.
Very poor service and unprofessional handling.

I recently flew with SunExpress Dublin to Izmir, first time flying with this airline, had a mixed experience. The flight seemed moderately overbooked, which understandably caused frustration among some passengers, and a few people were quite upset. Took off on time
However, my personal experience was very positive. I found the service to be great overall, and the cabin crew were especially lovely—friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the journey.
While the overbooking situation affected the atmosphere for some travellers, I personally had a pleasant flight and appreciated the excellent service

I am writing to raise a concern regarding a baggage fee that I paid in relation to my recent flight (Flight Number: XQ0590, Booking Reference: B2SAL6). Gatwick /Antalya return 18-03-26 till 23-03-26
I paid €114 per person for baggage, under the impression that this covered both the outbound and return journeys. However, upon arriving in Turkey, I discovered that this fee only applied to one direction of travel. This was not clearly communicated at the time of booking, and as a result, it caused confusion and additional stress during my trip.
I would appreciate clarification as to why this was not made explicit during the booking process. The way the information was presented led me to reasonably believe the payment covered both legs of the journey.
Given the misunderstanding, I kindly request that you review this matter and consider a refund or appropriate compensation.

The flights were booked as part of a package with Love Holidays, as such the baggage was included in the price of the holiday. We had no issues around baggage or any hidden costs.
Online check in was fine and we managed it with no issues, the same for the bag drop at Manchester. One small issue was there were only two reps checking baggage in so was a little slow but not really an issue.
Boarding was fine, flight was due to leave at 18:15, we were on and pushed back from the gate at 18:05 so all good.
Plane was clean and unlike some other budget airlines the seats recline which was nice.
I flight service for drinks and snacks was good and we had no problems, cabin crew were friendly.
2 things that spoiled the flight.
1- other rowdy passengers shouting and drinking to much. But can not blame the airline for that.
2- in flight announcements, were made in multiple languages, in Turkish they were clear but as soon as it came to English the PA was quiet, and poor quality so I could not hear or understand what was being said.
Overall SunExpress are a budget airline, the flight was on time, easy to book on and board. My complaints are minor but the PA on the plane needs improving.

I travelled from Antalya to Edinburgh. The flight left on time, the cabin crew could not have been nicer, and arrived early. The seats were comfortable, and the aircraft was clean and tidy. There was nothing to dislike.

I have always received good service from Sun express. The staff are lovely and attentive and most of the time run ontime. There seems to be a little more leg room than some of their well know rivals. An example of good service is on the 14.25 flight from Antalya on the 29th March 26 the flight was almost empty, I would say around 70 people on it at the most, they still ran the flight. This has happened to me before twice when I have traveled with another well known turkish owned airline and twice it has been cancelled. Well done Sun express for keeping the service on schedule.

The price was very good.
The normal seat has good space.
I flow from Gatwick to zantslya abd then back to Gatwick with them.
I am glad that I have used Sunexpress since September 2025 and now in March 2026.

I've used sunexpress website many times, so know how it works. Their pricing is exactly like other well known airlines, offering different costing for different services. Difference is they are very competitive if you can mess around with dates.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with SunExpress was so distressing that I feel compelled to share it publicly, especially as my formal complaint (Ref: SUN09654007) has been unresolved.
On 13 July 2025, I travelled on Flight XQ536 from Antalya to Birmingham. The boarding process at Gate 199 was chaotic and deeply uncomfortable. All passengers were subjected to so-called “random” baggage checks, yet every single person was stopped and had their belongings unpacked in full public view, with no privacy or professionalism.
What was particularly concerning was that me and my mum were stopped again at the gate again before boarding the bus to the plane, along with other passengers of colour, and told my ticket did not include cabin baggage. I clearly showed proof that I had purchased a cabin bag and a personal item. Despite this, I was dismissed and forced to pay €160.
My bag fully complied with the airline’s own size and weight requirements. The charge was unjustified and, to make matters worse, the payment was processed in Turkish Lira without clear explanation, which led to additional bank charges.
The manner in which I was treated was unacceptable. I was visibly distressed, spoken to rudely, and made to feel as though I was being dishonest in front of other passengers. No empathy, no courtesy, no apology. It was humiliating.
This experience left me extremely upset, I spent the entire flight home in tears.
I am also deeply concerned about the apparent pattern of targeting passengers of colour for additional checks, which raises serious questions about fairness and equality in your procedures.
I have already raised this formally and have had a lack of engagement from the company and no resolution.
I cannot recommend this airline based on my experience.
