The heaters are good and the service was equally as good, some degree of over marketing, but timely and polite service offered.

Work done very quickly and in a tidy manner and I am very pleased with the results.

From the initial visit by the firm's surveyor who answered all our questions about the Sunflow heating system and calculated our requirements to the installation of our new heating and the removal of our old oil-fired system we experienced what can only be described as outstanding service. Thank you Sunflow. We are really enjoying our new efficient heating.

The heater is fine , works fine .But I was very disappointed with the after care, I am 83 not very good with today's technology so I found it very difficult to understand how to set it , I got in touch with your office to get someone to come out to me t explain the way to do it , but was told I would be charged £83 for this service , I was never told this before . My manager was able to set it for me , thank goodness but I can't expect her to do this again .I dont think that was very helpful .

Excellent product, excellent service

Excellent organization of contractors to remove oil fired central heating; oil tank, boiler and all radiators. Followed up by installation of new efficient radiators, some additional wiring required. Second day walk through with us to show how fittings could be moved for redecorating, operation and programming of room thermostats etc. All very professional, clean and considerate. I'd recommend this company to anyone considering an extension or replacement of their existing system.

Extremely helpful staff at the office. Installers were very good and helped with my electrics to be able to install my heaters safely.
The heaters seem to be efficient and heat the rooms quickly. I have not had an electricity bill yet, but I have a smart meter. The electricity use is about what I expected. I like that each heater is controlled separately and the digital control is so versatile.

Great work by all staff, explained what was going to happen and how to work heating, cleaned up after themselves, would never of knowing they were here. Would highly recommend them to everyone

We had Sunflow heaters installed throughout our property over the past couple of days and have to say how impressed we are!! Lee and Josh who came to do our installation were both amazing and very considerate while they were working. They only finished the install today but already our home, which has been without hearing since we moved in 2 months ago, is so much warmer - it actually feels homey now!! Thank you Sunflow, we will definitely be recommending you to family and friends!!!

From the first contact to final fitting we were impressed by the professional but friendly approach of the staff. The initial visit by their agent clearly descibed the nature of the heaters, power and colours etc available. He understood our needs never putting any pressure on to buy. We placed an order for two 2kw heaters.

The fitters, Dan and Gary, duly arrived and impressed us immediately being well equiped with dust sheets, vacuum and all the tools necessary. They listened carefully to where we wanted the heaters stressing that we were the customer and they were there to comply with our wishes. The heaters were fitted just where we wanted them. The controls were thoroughly explained while the heaters were warming up to test opreration. They left leaving behind only 2 heaters, relevent paper work and absolutely no mess.

These heaters are being used as supplementary heating to our warm air system. They have proved to be efficient and effective in maintaining the ambient room temperature to our liking., and looking good whilst doing so. If, in future, we decided to change the main heating we would have no hesitation in fiting Sunflow heaters to the whole house, prefferably fitted by Dan and Gary!

I would recommend Sunflow Limited to anyone wishing to augment or replace their heating system.

Ahead of our fourth year of managing an efficient and inexpensive but labour intensive, inconvenient and dirty solid fuel heating system, we decided to try a couple of Sunflow heaters to see if they suit us.
The radiators were delivered yesterday morning, unpacked, checked and set up by helpful members of the Sunflow team. We have opted for portable ones which can be wall mounted if we so desire, with low-tech timers built in. Last night, instead of coming home to a cold house it was warm on my arrival - wow, how nice!

Thus far, Sunflow have been great. The representative who came to assess our requirements is a salaried member of staff and therefore there’s no pressure, so no double glazing style sales technique etc etc. (A bit of a disappointment probably to habitual hagglers, but a relief for the rest of us!). Everyone we’ve had contact with regarding our order has been helpful and pleasant.

Our hope is that we might be able to replace our solid fuel system completely with Sunflow radiators, so we are monitoring how much electricity our 2000W heater actually uses and will post an updated review in a few weeks time. Of course our results will be specific to our property.
If the energy usage is tolerable, and bearing in mind the other benefits such as the convenience, and also the fact that we use 100% green electricity, we really are hoping to have found a solution which doesn’t involve retro-fitting expensive air source heat pumps and all that sort of thing.

UPDATE ON 31.10.2020:
One year on from taking delivery of our two rads’ I’m happy to report that we feel we made a good quality investment.

We use a digital power monitor plug with the 2000W radiator which has been interesting to observe. This radiator has proved to be remarkably efficient and inexpensive to run while heating the space to 18C.

We deviated from the recommended number of heaters because we wanted to try them before making a bigger commitment.
Our 2000W unit does use quite a lot more electricity if you want the temperature consistently higher than 18C, but our house is unavoidably drafty which doesn’t help and, because of the layout, we are asking one heater to cover more than it’s fair share of volume, so this is not a criticism just an observation. We know we could be even more comfortable if we had the full set.

We used to get cold spots and a bit of mould in various corners but that has been much improved with better circulation of the heat. A patch of deliquescence high up on a chimney breast is also less noticable.

The timers work brilliantly and it’s true to say the house is far more comfortable and there’s a lot less dust and cleaning with less solid fuel being carted around.

These heaters are an investment. But if you’ve ever observed someone going through the complete upheaval of having underfloor heating retro-fitted for an air or ground source heat pump, you’ll appreciate the simplicity of installing these radiators. If we were still using gas central heating and our boiler needed replacing, these Sunflow radiators would be well worth considering. No glitchy boiler or gas safety concerns, no plumbing, no radiators to be bled.

And, quite apart from anything else, if possible we are very pleased to support our own economy.

The installation team were friendly, courteous and offered me useful and practical tips for making the most of my new heaters.
The new heaters themselves look great, especially the bespoke coloured ones and they are 100 times better than the old night storage heaters which they replaced.
A huge thank you goes out from me to all of those at Sunflow who undoubtedly went the extra mile and made the buying and fitting of my new heaters such a positive experience.

Wanting to upgrade from night storage heaters to more flexible heating, I contacted a German company who were extremely unhelpful, and then rang Sunflow. The team arranged the first visit to discuss our needs and to demonstrate the product. We were advised on the size of heaters we needed, but there was no pressure to order straight away. However, we were so impressed that we signed up on the day.

The installers were friendly, efficient and helpful, explaining how the controller works. Even a technophobe like me understood it.

Well done Sunflow for good customer service and a quality installation of a great product. Looking forward to being warm with lower electric bills in the winter.

I have to be honest, I was nervous about asking for our entire oil-fired heating system to be de-commissioned and replaced, but now that it’s completed I’m thrilled. Sunflow did a fantastic job arranging for the plumber to remove the old radiators and boiler and a new heater installed. Our radiators look great. They’re compact and attractive.
