This company is Shady as..... well you know! When i first bought sunglasses I was asked if I wanted to by the Protection plan for $24.95, I asked what is it ? and the associate said that if in 1 year anything happens to the glasses we will replace them no questions asked. "awesome" so I went back months later because i had a scratch on the and since i have the protection plan well....(what I was lead to belive). At first I was greeted by some tall associate who towered over me and asked if he could help? I responded with I have a scratch and I need replacement. He tried and said if you did it its not covered??? to which i corrected him and said no I bought the protection plan and pointed to the guy who sold it to me. So at first he was nice, but that changed when they didn't have my glasses in stock, so then he asked me would I like him to orfer the ones i wanted in? I said yes I would these are the ones i bought these are the ones i want replaced with (same). So then he says ok well you will have to pay the full amount now and we will reimburse you when they come in??? so you want me to pay again for glasses I already bought and when they come in you will reimburse me the full amount? Yes minus $50. What?? Why $50 its a warranty charge. A warranty charge I thought that was what the $24.95 was? oh it is but when you use the warranty you have to pay $50 That's not what you said when you sold it to me, Oh you mustn't have understood what i said when i sold it to you I did explain it. Like hell you did or else I wouldn't have bought the damn plan! What made this worse at this point is the associate was laughing as well as talking down to me and when asked for a manager a girl walked over and instead of listening just said "yeah that how it is" So folks when a sunglass hut associate asks you if you want to buy warranty, tell them to go shove it up their asses! its a hustle and a scam and way more hassle than helpful

It happened at the "Vila do Conde Porto Fashion Outlet" in Portugal, where I went to have a pair of "RayBan" glasses repaired, that I had bought there about a year ago.
It was a matter of refixing one of the lenses, but I had lost the screw.
The young female assistant quickly ‘dismissed’ me, saying that they didn't have any screws, that she would have to order them, and that it would take a few weeks for them to arrive.
Extraordinarily, she advised me to go to a near "Multiopticas" store, where they would do it for free.
Arrogance and lack of commercial tact. Next time I will go to the "Multiopticas" store to buy my sunglasses...
Divorced customer experience in sunglass hut in Guildford United Kingdom the shop closes at 6 o’clock and I was there at 6:02 pm to collect my Rebel class that I ordered as a collection point the staff was so rude they didn’t even open the door and asked me to go away saying that it’s closed and I have trouble half an hour to come to that and who on earth would close the shop at 6 pm. I finish my shift at 5:30 and I travel down to 6 o’clock to pick up my order I have parked there is no parking in the building. I parked somewhere else and I come down to collect the order which is shameless behaviour of that customer service agent pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. I’m so surprised of the this is not the way the business should run.
I ordered sunglasses from Sunglass Hut UK using their advertised “Free Pickup in Store – Same Day” option. The next day, the item wasn’t in store. Staff told me this happens regularly and frustrates customers.
Customer service later admitted my order wasn’t in the store at all but shipped from a warehouse (4–5 business days) — completely different from the “same day” promise.
I requested a refund immediately. Instead, I was told to contact the store myself to arrange a return. I called five times — no answer. I am now overseas and unable to go in person.
It has been over two weeks, and I am still waiting. All I’m told is “we are waiting for the store.” This is an internal process failure that should not stop a refund. The service is misleading, the process broken, and the customer left to fix Sunglass Hut’s problem.
Avoid if you expect the service they advertise — you may end up waiting, chasing, and still without your money.
I ordered my ray ban from sunglasses hut thinking yea i will have these in time for my wedding been waiting not for over 5 days for a next day delivery, this is a joke i paid £130 for my sunglasses and still have kot received anything my live tracker service page has not changed for 5 days, i feel like i have been robbed, and now i probably will not have any glasses for my wedding, i feel hurt let down robbed of £130 just because i wanted to shop online i am being punished. I really do not deserve this all i wanted was a new pair of glasses and now i am £130 down and no glasses. Sunglasses hut and Evri must be in cahoots and they are robbing their customers i will be going ro the police about this there is no way i am taking this lying down i will also go to the ombandman this is a joke. I know its a Sunday but had no response but i am £130 down with no sunglasses this is a joke.
Went into their Stratford store while visiting the area(we live 1hour away) and purchased a pair of sunglasses, it wasn’t until we got home and opened the case to find we had been sold an empty box!!
Called customer services multiple times to try get this sorted without having to drive back to the store but they just weren’t interested, they were rude and told us we would have to just go back to the store as they couldn’t get hold of the store themselves!
I’ve then had to take time out of my day to drive back to the store,pay for fuel,congestion charge and parking and all I get in store is sorry about that as they try to palm me off with the only set they had in store left which were the pair on display!!!

very poor service. placed an order on Sunday for same day collection. Went to store, couldn't collect even though they were in stock. The staff couldn't release them until "head office" pushed a button there end. Waited and waited but no update. I contact someone today and the chat function to be told that they can see my order but no delivery details. I ask who I need to contact as I am being passed around the houses and he cuts the chat off! Rude! I have now tried to call the store (Norwich) 3 times and no answer!
My wife ordered sunglasses online because they didn’t have the ones she wanted in store. They arrived damaged so she returns them directly to the store in Charleston SC and orders another pair. The second pair also arrives damaged (deep scratches on frame) and again has to order another pair. The customer service at sunglass hut is sub par. She just received the third pair today and it was not perfect condition either but to save the headache, she will just settle with this one and move on. Unacceptable for sunglasses priced over $200!
Bought Ray Ban sunglasses as gift for my son’s birthday. Sunglasses delivered by Evri. Sunglasses were too small so I returned them to sunglasses hut using the return system detailed in the delivery confirmation.I have the receipt for the return.
The return was tracked but never arrived and still shows on route to Sunglasses hut.
Sunglasses hut are refusing to issue me a refund even though I have twice been told I’am entitled to refund by customer services and they would process this. On both occasions the next level in the process have blocked the refund.
Firstly telling me I needed to chase the carrier up myself despite the return postage being free paid by sunglasses hut themselves and secondly stating I hadn’t got an RMA? Prior to returning the product.
I have had to purchase a further pair of sunglasses for my son’s gift from a different company, so effectively I have paid twice for the same gift.
I would not advise anyone to buy from this company online.

Absolutely dreadful company to deal with.
After admitting that their courier has lost the parcel - refusing to refund an online order despite it being a right for the consumer to refund anything purchase online. Will be reporting to ombudsman for consumer right breaking policies.
We had a wonderful experience with Samantha at the sun glass hut in North Myrtle Beach at Barefoot Landing! She played with our son and took interest in his toys while my husband and I shopped. She kept us informed on the deals they were running and offered support while we shopped while at the same time being very attentive to our five year old allowing us time to look around and make our decision. She made our experience easy and enjoyable for not only us but our child and as parents that is all we can ask for! I purchased a pair or Costas and have been very satisfied with my purchase.
Thank you to Darian at Gunwharf Quays Sunglasses Hut, having been pretty much ignored by her two colleagues who were chatting and laughing between them and then one of then spent ages chatting to friends and clearly inconvenienced by customers.
Now, Darian on the other hand was extremely professional, friendly and super helpful, she got the sale of 2 sets of sunglasses that we wouldn't have bought due to the lack of interest and customer care of her colleagues. Darian went above and beyond helping us and we are very grateful to her as she also made us feel welcome and gave us the time we needed to choose the pairs we wanted.
Although in store experience at Bluewater was amazing 10/10 for the retail store, I am extremely disappointed at the online chat/ online refund team at sunglasseshut there has been a lack of correspondence from them in regards to return. I have currently surpassed 10 working days of my return delivery being in there procession and still haven’t got the update I need. I had to spend 5 separate days on the live chat before someone sent me an email in regards to my return. I would advise against returning items online, in future will be using the store directly as there a lot more organised and friendly in comparison to the staff working online.
Ordered 2 x digital gift cards, one did not arrive and had a huge hassle sorting out with their customer service. Do not recommend using their website.
Called the carindale store spoke to Evelyn told me that I would be able to click and collect my order today no problem at all. Places order drive an hour to get here to be told they don't have my order spoke to customer service Valentina who said their was nothing they could do it was processing. Asked to speak to supervisor and was told that theybdidnt want to speak to me. Worst customer service and when I asked to cancel my order they refused to even discuss it saying send us an email. Rude and useless stay away from here and buy through a different company you might have more luck.
I ordered a pair of Prada sunglasses online and was send a pair of bent glasses, upon reaching out to the team I was informed that I would need to print a label to send the product back and could expect a replacement within 24 working days!! Unbelievable. On top of that, I had to liaise with customer service back and forth for the past 3 weeks trying to understand their replacement vs refund process to figure out if I could get my glasses earlier for my holiday which I’d originally ordered them for.
When splashing out on a luxury item I expect at least decent customer service - this is unacceptable for the price of the items they’re selling.
Needless to say I won’t have my sunglasses for my holiday and I won’t be shopping at sunglass hut again.
My first order was delayed at Christmas, by weeks, meaning it didn’t arrive in time. Once it eventually did arrive, the glasses were in poor condition. Never-mind the hassle I had to go through with phoning just to prove it was me collecting the glasses from a local newsagent (whom of which they delivered it, a significant distance from where I lived)
Expectations were set low. Either way, fast forward 7 months to scenario number two. I had a gift card, placed an order, paid extra towards the item, on this occasion I selected click and collect (what could go wrong) same day, in stock, easy.
Failed to be updated until 4 working days later, after I had to chase down the order. Therefore cancelled the order and thought it was time to move on.
Refund was issued same day to both gift card and bank. Hurray!
So I placed a new order to be faced with an error on the website. ‘Gift card error’ (or some description of sorts)
Was unclear if the order went through, so contacted customer care. Along with checking the gift card balance which now showed zero (£0.00) anyway, fast forward 11 days. No update, no product. Keep chasing, when I do get a reply ‘we are chasing in back end, be quick to resolve’
Would get more use out of a wooden sock at this stage. Pointless.
STILL waiting for my refund for an order that was RETURNED BY ROYAL MAIL SPECIAL DELIVERY, at MY OWN EXPENSE! NOT easy to return unwanted items, despite them stating its 'quick & easy'. Nothing quick or easy about it!
Further to last, FINALLY got my refund this morning, thankfully I paid using PayPal & opened a dispute through them.
