I have been a happy customer of Sunseeker doors up until about 15 months ago when one of the doors mysteriously began to scrape the bottom sill and not close properly.
I contacted via email and phone but had a very poor response. Covid was taking off so I could understand. I left messages, every email I sent was met by an automated email asking for details that had already been given and phone remained unreturned.
When I did get a response I was told that they no longer made bi-fold doors (isn't true as they still feature on their website) and despite wanting to talk to someone I got nowhere. I tried to arrange a service call but agin was ignored.
Around 2 months or so ago I got a call from their accounts depatment demanding payment for a service call (which hadn't taken place) and I used the opportunity to actually talk to a real person who was very helpful. She arrange for a service call and that was attended by someone who had no idea about bi-folds. He could not see why the doors were not functioning correctly. He assured me that he would return to the office and get someone who knew about bi-fold doors to re visit. I have heard nothing from them since despite numerous calls and messages left. I am still waiting, so if the MD of Sunseeker doors does read this please take action.

This is my second review on this company & I will explain the 1 star. My original review stated it should have been 5 stars, the product is great, the fitting team superb but the communication of this company with customers is appalling. Let me explain, we have a slight fault with the door, nothing major but a slight inconvenience. I tried phoning sunseeker to arrange a visit, straight to voicemail 😡. Filled out a service request form on website, no response 😡, phoned again, finally given date for visit. On the day of visit it got cancelled & I was asked to call back a couple of days later to get new date. Phoned, straight to voicemail 😡, filled out service request form, no reply 😡. Phoned again next day, got through & was told she was waiting for a date for us & would be in touch late morning. Guess what, no phone call back 😡. I tried calling again & straight to voicemail again 😡. Now it's the weekend so I'm going to have to go through all this again next week. Not good enough, get a back office team as good as the doors & you would be a good company to deal with. As it is I would steer clear. If anybody from the company reads this review can you actually contact me to resolve my issue instead of the standard reply all other reviews get 😡😡
Just before second lockdown Sunseeker came to repair a broken door handle ( over 10 years old). At the same time we discussed replacing the seals. Of course things went a little pear shaped with this next bit but this week the seals and fitters arrived and the doors look great. And because of the delay they have not charged us! Given the challenging times they deserve some understanding if they have to cancel a few times, so well done to them.

I had doors installed in January 2020 and they are still under warranty. The pivot doors are lovely but the company after sales service and lack of communication is letting them down. We are unable to close or lock doors and no-one has responded. Are you still working?
Update: company responded quickly to last email and everything has been fixed today. Thank you for prompt response in the end. Such great doors don’t let customer service let you down. Thanks

Fantastic doors with a 5 star service. I don't often write a review yet I always think other people should to help me make my decision. I have just had my Sunseeker Doors installed and just can't put into words how pleased I am with them. From the first point of ordering with Tony in Sales who was so helpful, understanding and informative to the secure payment taken and the full installation by the installers Adrian, Robert and their teams. They turned up on time, was clean and tidy and made sure everything run smoothly. I have seen many reviews which have less than 5 stars, please do not take notice of this. The company produced some lovely doors and I will be recommending them to my family and friends. Thank you Sunseekers!

These have been a terrific set of four sliding/pivoting doors. They were fitted three years ago by Sunseeker in a pre-prepared 4m opening made by our builders. We chose them for two outstanding features compared to others we looked at - the very narrow frames and the ability to choose exactly how much of the doors you have open compared to the "all or nothing" concertina action of bi-folds. After you open the traffic door 90 degrees, each of the other doors slides smoothly to wherever you want them, or you can slide any number of them to the end where they can pivot 90 degrees and stack against the traffic door. We've done a lot of work to our house and I can honestly say these have been the best addition we've made.
The "traffic" door is our principal access to the garden so has had a lot of use by our children. As a result it recently needed a bit of adjusting to keep it swinging closed as smoothly as it had originally. Despite being out of warranty, Sunseeker waived any fee for the service visit. Their cheerful engineer Ryan turned up as arranged and quickly sorted the problem as well as giving the whole set of doors a check over and advised on maintaining them. I'd thoroughly recommend them.

My Sunseeker doors were installed 3 years ago and I love them; they look great and the slimline frames are perfect for my small-ish terrace room. I recently had a slight issue with them (the sealed connection at the door end was failing) and contacted Sunseekers to arrange a service call. The reason I am giving a 4 star review and not a 5 star one is that I had no response to my first email. However my follow up email was responded to quickly (by Deanne) and a service date arranged for a few days afterwards. The service engineer, Ryan, was brilliant - arrived promptly, fixed the problem and gave the whole system a service. I would definitely recommend Sunseeker doors and, on recent experience, would say that their customer service is very good.

We had sunseeker install doors 5 years ago in our house . Never had problems with them and love them .November last year I managed to lose one of the magnets for the integral blinds .I tried to contact the office but had no luck. Emails not replied to and calls not answered. I decided to pop into the office in Luton last week. I met a lovely lady called Dee who explained she had started last week and her sole job was customer care .She said the company had struggled during the pandemic and now things are better for them ,she had been employed , a new van purchased and a dedicated service engineer stated .She then gave me new magnetic pulley for my blinds free of charge. Glad sunseekers have made an effort to up there game in the customer service department

We had installed a beautiful set of Frameless double glazed doors over a year ago, the doors became tight when sliding and a service engineer was dispatched and resolved the problem. Our experience from start to finish was excellent & we recommend this company highly. Especially bearing in mind that they were having to cope with the pandemic!!!

They openly admit they are concentrating on installing new doors while failing to honour the guarantee of customers who have faults. Impossible to speak to anyone. They came to service our doors - when opening the door that evening it fell off the rail. It's really dangerous and difficult to gain access to our garden. They have cancelled our appointment 3 times and given a new date which if honoured will mean their mistake has taken 2 months to fix.......If they turn up!

Should have been five stars, lovely doors, professional fitting team but poor communication with office.
I will explain our issue: The day our doors were due to be fitted we waited until about 10 o'clock when it dawned on us that the fitting team were not coming on that day, we contacted the office & they told us that there was a delay on the blinds, so we would have to postpone, not a problem, but we should have been informed first thing in the morning or even the day before. After a short delay the doors were fitted, the guys doing the job were first class, did a great job, however they didn't have the internal & external trim to finish the job due to a supply issue. Again not a problem, happy to wait. It took two more visits to get the job done, again I have no problem with this, my issue is that we had to chase the office for updates & never had a phone call or email the day before fitting to confirm. The last visit was booked with us via email for the 26th March, on the 26th FEB the guys turned up to complete the job & we weren't at home, again this mistake could have been avoided if we had had a confirmation email or text the day before. Lastly it has also been down to us to chase up warranty/guarantee documents which we were told would have been generated as soon as the job had been completed. We have now got documentation 2 weeks after completion!!
I appreciate that the COVID-19 situation has had an impact on companies, but it really doesn't take much to keep customers informed.
Doors look absolutely lovely & looking forward to the summer when we can open up the back of our house & enjoy them.

Absolutely terrible experience unfortunately. Summary: ordered and paid for doors in July and they're still not installed properly and no one is returning my calls or emails for a month, leaving me to assume they've gone out of business. The guy, Paul, is lovely when you catch him on the phone but at the end of the day I've lost nearly 5k here.
Recount of what happened:
1/ Doors took longer than expected
2/ Then, they accidentally scheduled Install date for 7 November, when we'd agreed 7 November. We only found out on the day that they weren't coming when no one showed up. They managed to move it a bit earlier than 7 Nov, but still very late.
3/ Then, the main doors were installed (and look great) but we were left with a bit of PDF covering a gap where a glass panel was meant to be for about a month in November. Freezing. Again, had to chase to get this fixed.
4/ Finally they came and installed the final panel in mid November, but some "cladding" (sorry I don't know the actual word but part of the frame) was missing. They said they'd come fix the the outside and never have. Completely ignored emails and calls.
5/ Called me back on 5th Jan finally offering that they'd come to fix the problem. Was thrilled to hear from them. Said they'd be in touch within a few days to fix it, and never called. Now I'm getting bounce backs of their email address, suggesting they may have gone out of business?
Paul if you read this, you have my contact details. Please call me.

Unfortunatley, I have had the same bad experience as many other reviewers. I had a set of Slide & Pivot doors fitted just over two years ago. They have been great, up until four weeks ago. A simple part (the pin in the main door) has become worn, and now the door doesnt stay in it's track - it regularly pops out and is a nightmare to get back in again.
I have attempted to get a service appointment booked in for over four weeks, and it has been impossible. The landline is never answered, there is no mobile phone number available, and emails are very rarely responded to. Given that these doors provide security, insulation, & access to their customers, I'm amazed at how difficult it is to get hold of them. Every time the door comes out of it's track, I'm convinced that I won't be able to get it back in this time.
For those of us that are out of warrenty (which only lasts 2 years FYI, many bifold providers offer 10 years as standard) it would be great if Sunseeker could just provide videos on dissasembling & reassembling the doors, along with replacement parts. I'ld happily pay a rediculous mark up just to get the right bits myself and not have to wait for a service appointment.

Just wanted to say a bit thank you for coming to our rescue and fixing our door, we were so worried what with winter approaching etc and you promised to come out and you where true to your work , they are fully operational now and we feel very relieved, Thank you

We had 3 sets of doors fitted when we extended our kitchen 9 years ago and the slim design of these slide and twist doors has always maximised our view out - in the summer they all slide back to really make a wonderful inside/outside space.
They've always worked well but after 9 years they needed some TLC. The guys from Sunseeker turned up promptly, were incredibly polite, worked continuously, cleared up everything spotlessly, were very happy to explain what they were doing throughout, made sure we were happy with the work and demonstrated that all the repairs had been done perfectly, and did a fantastic job. I cannot speak more highly of their attitude and ability, they are a great testament to Sunseeker.
A fantastic job It’s like having new doors again!
Great doors, great view, amazing after sales service 9 years after we had these installed - 5 stars every day!

I’m very happy with my doors and the installation and have referred them to Two of our friends.
We did our homework and was worried about the after-sales comments but the system is simple enough to get repaired locally if worst came to the worst.
We visited the factory in Luton and we got exactly as we expected, a fantastic set of doors.
The installation team turned up in a battered van and half dressed and only one speaking English but don’t be fooled, these guys pay attention to the details and do a good job.
I was told it was company policy to take full payment up front two days before which I wasn’t going to do. I met some aggression for asking but agreed we would pay an initial 40% then all but £200 on arrival with the last £200 paid once finished. I’d suggest everyone pushes for that and have suggested to them that this isn’t unreasonable for them to conside.
The only other thing I’d say is that a clean of the glass inside and out before leaving would be a lovely finishing touch to delight the customer.

Excellent service . We have found their after sales service top notch ! We had bi fold doors fitted 7 years ago and the service team came back to replace the door handle and fix the tracking . Quick to resond and insisted the repairs were free of charge despite being well outside the warranty period and my offer to pay . Tony is always responsive and nothing is too much trouble .Richard from Buckingham.

Don’t be fooled by the non 5 star rating. I had one big set of doors and one “double” set of doors fitted in the same room.
Ultra slim, anthracite, the operation is so simple there is basically nothing to go wrong with the doors.
Tony Wain was the guy I dealt with over my project and he has gone above and beyond to meet our needs, even though I never actually met him! Texting and phone calls made the process easy. As in other reviews they fitted the doors and came back to adjust and change a handle we asked for after installation (free of charge). When you make a big hole in the side of a building or indeed change what is in your current hole, settling will occur and the practice of coming back once it all settles is probably frustrating for the general public but it is the right thing to do.
Every single person who has walked in to the room says “where did you get those doors from” or “I’ve never seen any like that”. They look 100 times better than normal bi folds and I am fussy at the best of times.

Our doors was installed on 4th June 2019 and whilst i am very happy with the product i wasn't happy when we were asked to pay the whole amount up front. I think Trading Standards needs to look into this as it leaves the customer very vulnerable to questionable business practices. That said we paid the full amount and they did turn up eventually. The first install date was cancelled! The main panel of the three developed an issue; plus they had to finish the external facia (we were advised that due to settling it is customary to leave it for a couple of weeks before installing the facia??? However, we had a bit of trouble getting in touch with the company. Then once contact was established was informed that someone would call back. Which never happened and yet again had to chase-up!!
We were promised that on the 27th June it would be resolved. Two installers did show up and fixed the fault, bit failed to bring the FACIA!!! They are based in Luton we live in Ashford, Kent. Seriously..
To-date (30th July) we are unable to reach the company and our facia remains unfinished.
The product is amazing, having looked at various options these by far came in best quality to value ratio and we weren’t disappointed. Only knocked a star off as they could be more communicative, you do go for a long time with no updates and required a bit of chasing. Solve this and it’s 5*
