Perfect from the get-go, were booked in by the lovely lady in Scarborough and taken to our car. Got the news of an upgraded fleet of cars so received a new Rav-4 which was unbelievable and looking at buying one myself after hiring. Deposit returned swiftly and would go out of my way to book at this location again.

Staying a week in Mooloolaba we found it very convenient to use Sunsetrentacar office in the shopping area there - apparently the only car rental place in the town - there are plenty on Airport Road, Maroochydore but picking up and returning the vehicle was so easy for us. We rented the car for just two days to get to the Emundi market on Wednesday morning and then return via the Blackall Range toens (Montville etc). The second day we really enjoyed exploring including tramping around the Glasshouse Mountains. The service from Sunsetrentacar was excellent and we really appreciated the lift to Maroochydore Mall after we returned the car - very obliging 'father-in-law' - forgotten his name!

Can highly recommend Sunset Rent a Car. The whole process was simple and easy. We collected the car from scarborough and upgraded the insurance deal we have in place, there was no pushy sales technique or scaremongering, just super friendly service and nothing was too much trouble. The car was clean and exactly what we needed. We then returned the car at the airport which is just outside of the airport so no faffing trying to navigate through terminals and parking places, you park at their return centre and they then drive you to the airport drop off point. Even when we last minute panicked as we had left our video camera in the rental car, it wasnt too much trouble for them to drive it back and meet us back at the airport. Phenomenal service and would 100% be using again on our next return to Perth.

Excellent customer service from Laurie and Andrew, despite several little incidents during our 2 week hire. These guys made sure they were resolved quickly and painlessly. One of these incidents was a chipped windscreen incurred through no fault of ours, but they made sure we only had to pay a small fee for repair, rather than taking the whole bond. Would definitely hire from Sunset again next time we need a hire vehicle!

AMAZING!! We rented through these guys up at Sunshine Coast and we were rapt with everything. Best prices around, so friendly, easy to deal with, down to earth and polite. We hired a Hyundai Tuscan and the car was very new, in great condition, very clean and we will definitely use these guys as our first option next time.

Email response from the company was quick and inquiries were attended to promptly. We were picked up from our hotel near the airport punctually. Upon returning the car, we were dropped off at the airport without delay too. We rented a mid sized car which was relatively new and in good condition.
Overall, excellent service and would highly recommend.

Andrew was a great help, he picked me up from the marina and made the task of hiring a car easy.
