Called into Supercuts in Derby with my 9 year old daughter, wanted to charge me £45 for a cut and blow dry! Disgusting! Went elsewhere and was charged £25 for the same service!

Popped in on 19th august and was told they could fit me in at 3pm can’t remember the name of the stylist but it’s the best cut I’ve had for many years, cut it exactly how I wanted it, so thank you
DONT GO HERE
My daughter is extremely upset and annoyed, She asked for half an inch off and was very clear she only wanted half and inch off, the hairdresser then continued to cut around 3 and a half inches off leaving my daughter extremely upset after she left, they don’t have the capability to listen to instructions and my daughter is very upset and we physically can’t change anything. I don’t recommend to anyone.

Gutted wanted a shoulder lenth cut with it shorter at the back so it came round the front nicely. She checked how long i wanted the back then went to check her phone and just cut the rest the same length. How do you complain when the hairs already gone !@@@ 42pound for a cut I didn't want.
The cut I wanted!
First visit to Supercuts, Eldon Square, recommended to me by a friend! I waited about 25 minutes, good atmosphere, friendly staff and no appointment needed!
Most importantly, I was listened to, and got the cut that I wanted, by Danielle.
Extremely bad customer service
Extremely bad customer service . I went today to ask for a haircut and the hairdresser was not helpful at all. I would not recommend. The website states that the place is open until 20:00 and I went about 16:30 and she still didn’t offer anything. After I complained the hairdresser replied inappropriately instead of apologising
I went to the branch in lewisham
I went to the branch in lewisham. On the website it says they close at 17.30 ı went there at 16.40 and shutters were half closed. İf you’re not going to serve any customer after 16.40 you actually need to change the time on the website. Lady said we need to clean until 17.30 it’s ridiculous
Bedford supercuts
Went into bedford supercuts today and had an amazing lady do my hair, she was outstanding from start to finish would definately recommend and will be going back in the future
They butchered my hair
They butchered my hair . I spent the last 6 months growing out a fringe only for the stylist in the Newcastle branch to just cut it back in. I asked for wispy side bangs and now I have a full 2000 thick fringe that I have to put up everyday because it looks so bad. I also got my hair shirt because I wanted it to be easy to manage in the morning . Now if I was to wear my hair down I would look like Willy wonka . My hair hurts from being pulled up everyday but I have to. I showed her a photo as well of what I wanted and what I didn’t and still ended up with a horrible bowl cut fringe. They can only do out dates styles of hair cuts, don’t go here!
Awful, rude staff and extremely bad service
Just had an awful experience at the Chelmsford salon. Used their check-in online service to book a space in the "queue", to avoid having to sit and wait, and was sent a text to advise my slot was available at the time advised. On arrival the two stylists were busy and I was told that there was someone in the queue before me, but that they were almost 30 mins late. They said I would be next if she didn't arrive by the time they were free. After waiting another 5 mins, this customer eventually arrived and so I was told that they wouldn’t be able to cut my hair for at least another hour! This makes their booking system next to pointless.
After an hour I returned to the shop. The stylist had finished the previous customer, saw me waiting and walked straight past me without a word to go and get her lunch. On her return, she disappeared out to the back of the shop, again totally ignoring me. I asked her colleague how much longer I would have to wait, and was told that my stylist was now having her lunch so I would have to wait until after she’d finished. I explained that I had already waited over an hour past the time I was notified that my slot was available, but she was extremely rude and simply said “well, we didn’t call you”! So, it seems it was all the computer’s fault… I then asked why I couldn’t have been fitted in first, since I had arrived on time, only needed a trim, plus the previous client was over 30 minutes late. She said it was because she was in front of me in the “queue”. When I explained that this seemed unfair, I was told in no uncertain terms to “get out”! I’ve never received such bad customer service in any salon, and although I’m aware that Supercuts are not a "top" salon, I am shocked at their staffs’ attitude. I will never return to this salon and recommend you avoid at all costs unless you want to be kept waiting, ignored and then verbally abused.
Awful haircut for my daughter
Took my 3 year old daughter to the Bluewater store today for a trim. She received the most awful haircut ever. Her fringe is far too short and wonky. The rest of her hair isn't straight either. I am so upset. The receptionist recognised it was awful and didn't charge me, which was very kind. But I am still stuck with waiting for my daughter's hair to grow so it can be cut again, properly. Have emailed them via their website, but no reply as yet.
AVOID
Terrible experience, 0 customer service 0 professionals 0 experience, the shop not organised bad atmosphere, felt like I was begging to have my hair done, and what she done I could have done at home without feeling miserable. AVOID, there’s plenty of other hairdressers around Derby .
Staines Awful customer service and lazy hairdresser
I went into supercuts in Staines upon Thames, at 2.30pm wanting a wash and cut. There was only one hairdresser there and she said there's one person in front of me and to come back in 45 mins, she told me I did not have to sit and wait.
I came back at 3.15pm sat down and waited as she was cutting someone else's hair. After a few minutes she tells me she cannot cut my hair today as I have come back late. I was shocked! I reminded her of what she had told me. She then reluctantly and obviously annoyed and told me I would have to wait another 45 minutes. Why would I let anyone with this kind of attitude near my hair with a psir of scissors. This hairdresser clearly did not want to cut my hair, if so she should have said so in the first place. Secondly there's no apology. I expect supercuts to check their cameras and fully investigate this.
£45 for 35 Minute Cut
Hairdresser was nice but very overpriced. I paid £45 for a 35 minute wash, cut, blow-dry. I asked how much to just have a quick dry instead of a full blow dry. I was told £40 for a wash and cut and to leave with my hair dripping wet. I was charged more than was listed for the longest hair and told it was just because of my length. My hair is long but not crazy long and the posters showed longer hair than mine for £35 wash/cut/blow-dry.
This was also my second attempt at visiting. On my first attempt there was one lady working. When she finally spoke to me she pointed at a sign telling me to scan and said "you have to do it online" then walked off to the backroom. I stood for five minutes and gave up as it took me a long time to scan and when it did, the booking system didn't have an option for long hair. Only short. She never came back so I couldn't do anything. I tried again on my second visit to which the website said error twice (I attempted to book short hair as the only option). So the online system is bad. Luckily I was quickly served at the till instead.
Overall my haircut was fine but not worth the hassle and price. My partner went to a barbers next door and was given a great 40 minute cut for £14. I had an inch off the bottom and some layers for £45. It is much cheaper going to any local hairdresser. I thought supercuts was supposed to be a budget salon. The service is budget but price isn't.

Awful branch such a rude stylist who obviously didn't want to work
Only one stylist there and was told wait was 1.5 hours although one one person waiting
Came back and told 2 people were before me but no one there? Wasted 1.5 hours of my life rude person who didn't want any customers
Should be given the sack

I visited the Hempstead Valley branch in Gillingham. I received a quick, friendly greeting. Because 2 customers were ahead of me in the queue, they said they'd text me when my stylist was ready! Brilliant service. The cut was fantastic! I had about 3 inches off my long hair as it was so overdue a cut! Plus, a few layers added. Really lovely stylist, very professional, she knew exactly what my hair required! Good chat as well, sorry that I didn't catch her name, but I hope she enjoys her Chinese Takeaway tonight! Haha. Thank you ladies, Anne :)
Terrrible experience in Ilford Supercut Branch
Went to SuperCuts Ilford 2 days before Eid upon appointment to do a simple cut, wash, and straight blow-dry. I choose SuperCuts Ilford also because it was offering a discount price for the service. Discount is a good business technique to attract customers, indeed it worked for me.
The booking system options were: “Short hair; Medium hair; Long hair”. There wasn’t any option for “extremely long hair” in the system. Otherwise, I would’ve avoided going to the saloon and planned something else without wasting time.
I’m aware that my hair is long, so I accordingly booked beforehand and the system accepted it with the discount applied.
I went to the hair salon and so many attitudes of the staff went very wrong! Supercuts Ilford couldn’t hold their professionalism.
I was a usual customer of SuperCuts Ilford since 2019, so I could see the difference between then and now. I won’t go anymore there and won’t recommend going due to the awkward unprofessional customer service and hair treatment I received the last time!!
I have long hair, which means I must have to take care of my hair. I’m used to going to the Hair saloons at least three/four times a month! So I know very well about a hair salon's professionalism. They never complained about the length of my hair. They treat my hair as normal “long hair”.
This hair salon was the worst I’ve ever seen because you can’t open a hair salon and expect only short hair! I’ve seen very professional people who open hair saloons because they REALLY LOVE DOING THEIR WORK! Hair is nothing to joke about and mess up with! Don’t open a Hair salon or join to work at a Hair salon if you’re lazy to treat hair and get frustrated every time you see a customer with long hair and decide to double the price without giving any notice anywhere!! However, the price here was not the problem, but the attitude of frustration toward long hair customers was, undoubtedly!
1. First of all, a lady staff **** wanted to charge me the double price that I booked because she was trying to frame that my hair was “very very long”. I always went with the same long length of hair and no staff “complained” about the length of my hair and treated it as “long hair” as normal. Whether it’s a new service rule or not, why it wasn’t mentioned in the system?
2. After that she said, “We’re full today. We can’t manage this long hair”. I was surprised that a Hair salon that is supposed to expect ANY KIND of hair length is saying this to a customer in an unprofessional manner?! What kind of hair salon is this that gets scared and frustrated once they see clients with long hair?!
3. After that she said, “Can we do only cut & wash?” So, that means I have to go around with wet hair?! I thought SuperCuts was a good brand to trust and care about their client’s well-being. However, I thought she was joking. But she wasn’t at all! She just CLEARLY didn’t want to do the customer’s long hair! The only positive thing was she accepted to do the service I booked as “long hair” only because I informed her that I wanted a simple cut and a simple straight blow-dry (which was easy for the staff to do). Just imagine if I would’ve said “I want wavy hair”. Don’t want to imagine the discomfort they would have caused to the customer.
4. After washing, when I went to sit on the treatment chair it was TOTALLY full of short-cut black hair that spread all over my garments!! All of my clothes were full of hair, so it was very unhygienic for the next customer! The chair was black, so I didn’t notice at first glance. I noticed only when my body started to itch due to the sharp-cut tiny hairs all over the chair and my clothes!
5. During the poor blow-dry treatment, the questions the lady staff asked were not relevant to the hair treatment at all because she continuously underlined the discomfort of treating my long hair and continuously showed the frustration of treating my long hair. When she went to bring the hairdressing appliances, she clearly communicated her frustration to do my long hair with her colleagues! I heard it and I saw her clear expression through the mirror in front of me! I was feeling very discomforted in that situation.
6. The blow-dry was not a professional blow-dry at all!! I pay for a service for a better result, and not for something that I could’ve done at home. In the end, my hair was still wet at the top of my head and it was not the usual blow-dry I used to get professionally!
I will recommend going to SuperCuts Ilford ONLY TO CUSTOMERS WITH SHORT HAIR, in order to give them a favor to work less and have a nice day ahead because they don’t like to treat willingly customers with long hair.

Rubbish customer experience
I had my haircut at Fareham yesterday 15th April. I used the online booking system at around 9:37am for a cut and blow dry, which emailed me and said I was 5th in the queue and would be a 37 min wait approximately. I arrived on time to be told that the booking was for 3pm. I said I would hang around and wait then I got an email to say a slot was available for 2pm. I got there again on time only to have to wait a further half hour. Then the hairdresser said “oh come on then, what do you want” I should have walked out but I was desperate for a cut. After the horrendous shampooing technique which nearly pulled my hair out by the roots the stylist (if you can call her that) had the shakes I thought blooming heck what’s going on here. Have to say the cut is fair to middling but I will not be going back there due to being treated like a nuisance customer. Hence to say I did not tip and I won’t be going back. Supercuts sort out your online booking system and review your stylist’s capabilities.
