21st birthday party
Super Silent Disco made the whole process from placing the order, to delivery, setting up, using the headphones and diso lights, packing up and collection straightforward and helpful. The headphones are good quality and easy to operate. It is also useful that they arrive fully charged a few days before the event. I've already had people who came to the party ask me for a contact link on where to hire the headphones.

Not having done this before I’ve got to say The headsets and instructions worked perfectly.
My one nighle was parcelforce who completely missed their delivery- so leave plenty of time before your event is my advice

We totally understand the frustration when a courier lets things slip – and you’re absolutely right, it’s always good to leave a bit of wiggle room. For peace of mind, we do send all equipment out three days before your event date to allow for any unexpected delays, but sadly we can’t always control how reliable the delivery networks are on the day.

I can’t recommend this company
I can’t recommend this company. We hired a large number of headsets and lighting for my wedding last month.
Before I sent money across, I was assured that PAT certificates were available for the items. The venue was very clear that anything which must be plugged in must have a PAT certificate so this was key for me. I had to chase the team 4 times over a number of weeks to provide PAT certificates whilst juggling 100,000 other things as a busy bride. I finally asked the team not to send the lights if the promised certificates were not available. I was ignored and charged full price. The lights were delivered but unusable. *My MoH opened the box to see what the items were, but unfortunately the venue would not allow the items to be plugged in.
*I see vendor’s comment about processing opened items but I’m not sure how this explains a good 4-5 missed emails requesting the certificates. The same email address was used to send invoices and delivery updates so clearly operational.
The delivery day for the items was also changed at the last minute by email. Luckily for me my MoH works from home and was able to accommodate the change.
As soon as the money has left your hands I felt the experience changed.
I will say the team were reasonable when it came to some missing headsets. (There is a HUGE fee for missing items). Be advised if you order a large number, happy guests may just accidentally take these away with them.
I really appreciated the reasonable attitude. This was the one area I can’t fault them for. However unfortunately would not choose the same company if looking for headsets again.

You’re absolutely right to expect clear communication, especially around something as important as PAT certification. We acknowledge that, in your case, there were several emails chasing this that didn’t receive a timely response – and for that, we sincerely apologise. That’s not the standard of service we aim to provide, and it’s something we’ve taken steps to improve. PAT certificates are now automatically included in our dispatch and pre-dispatch emails to avoid this kind of issue happening again.
We completely understand your disappointment about the lights. As mentioned, when the tamper seals were broken, we had to treat the items as opened and therefore used – even if they weren’t plugged in – but we do hear your concerns and appreciate that the lack of paperwork contributed to the problem in the first place.
We’re grateful you acknowledged our fair handling of the missing headsets and the fact that the rest of the order went smoothly. It’s a shame we weren’t able to meet your expectations overall, but your feedback has helped us improve – and we thank you for that.

Good service
The website was really easy to use and the customer service and communication throughout were excellent. The price was very affordable, payment was simple, and the items were sent to me on time in a secure storage box.
One thing to note is that you only get six hours to report any issues with the equipment. This didn’t really work for me as the delivery arrived in the morning, but I wasn’t able to test everything until two days later which was when we on route to the location. Setting up the equipment was okay and the instructions were fairly easy to follow.
We were given three transmitters, so in theory we should have been able to play three different playlists. Unfortunately, when trying to do this in a regular-sized kitchen diner, we could only just about pick up two stations, which was disappointing especially after making three separate music playlists to cater for all age groups. We could have tested this earlier, but even then, there wouldn’t have been much we could do about it.
The headsets themselves were fairly comfortable and I really appreciated that the team happily amended the return date by a day to suit my plans. The return process was easy too, with a straightforward pickup.
All in all, it was a good service for the price paid. Everything else was great and I really can’t fault the customer service.

We appreciate your feedback about the six-hour reporting window. This is in place so we can resolve any rare issues before the event, but we completely understand that testing everything straight away isn’t always practical. We’re reviewing this policy to see how we can better support customers with different schedules – your comments are really helpful in that.
Regarding the transmitters, we’re sorry to hear that the third channel didn’t come through clearly in your space. In most cases, they do cover standard indoor settings with ease, but performance can occasionally be affected by interference or building materials. We’ll be looking into this further and also working on clearer guidance around testing and setup to help avoid that kind of frustration.
We’re still really pleased the event overall went well and that the headsets and support team hit the mark. Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback – we’d love to welcome you back for another event in future!

Great for home parties
We hired this service for a birthday party at home and wanted to keep the noise levels down — it was perfect for that. Everyone loved it! They send the equipment a couple of days in advance, giving you plenty of time to test and adjust the settings. Setup was super easy thanks to the clear instructions, and they collected everything the following Monday. We’ll definitely hire them again!
