What a rubbish site now
When swapz was first started was a amazing site now it's down to virtually no one to what it used to be and is full of morons who think there 500 car is worth 2000 and havnt got the decency they were born with to reply to a I terest or swap proposal site wants closing down and for someone to open up another one who is going to take care pride pride in the site
Paul Kay owner is a waster
Paul Kay is the owner and used to take a genuine interest in the site and it’s members
However, over the years, this has gone in the polar opposite direction and no signs of changing any time soon.
Mods have their hands tied by what the owner allows them to do, so no real blame can be laid at their feet in all honesty.
Scammers galore on the site, ignorant halfwits that never reply ... stolen goods, drugs, counterfeit money ... you name it. You’ll find it here.
Suffice as to say ... it’s a hole of a site and all down to the owner Paul Kay losing interest.hole
But hey, he’s making his money from it and that’s all he now cares about.
Personally, along with a few other long standing members, we are going to set up a site that will about its members and will also need verification for each and every member so as to reduce the scammers and con artists out there.
Traceable and teachable members with ID proof is the way to go .. are you listening Paul Kay ?
Shocking add after add after add, then scammers and dreamers galore
Shocking, full of adds every second and admin are rude and rubbish. Lots of people on hear with stuff they value very highly and want to trade their over priced stuff for your genuine stuff. Con men and scammers with the odd decent person thrown in there some where. Worth a look and a try but take it as it is and thats the fact that most people on there are just chancers who value their b reg corsa at the same money as your e type and they are doing you a favour.

Where do I start..????
Where do I start... this site should be closed down. I received a stolen car that was cloned and lost loads of money. Everyone on the site wants to scam u with duff/fake swaps and it’s not on. Used to be good but it will never go back to the way it was before so just needs closing down unfortunately. It’s a criminals playground so they can take your money BEWARE BEWARE
This site is horrendous. waste of time
This site is horrendous. There are to many adds and who ever managers the site should be sacked. When this site first started there was 1000s of people on here all the time but now you are lucky if 100 people are on at the same time its shocking and a WASTE of time ! i wish it went back to how it was . this site had so much penitential, it was the best swapz site out there but not any more , all they care about now is money and how much they can charge to upgrade your account and buying bumps to increase your chance of doing a deal with someone. what a load of s**t , wish i could fined a site out there like the old swapz
Full of time wasting people and scammers

Full of scammers and time wasters. Has the potential to be a good site but owners seem disinterested in making improvements. Lots of vehicles advertised on here have outstanding finance on them, been clocked or involved in accidents. Make sure you do your checks first if thinking of swapping your car.
Have asked several times to have my profile deleted but the request is ignored. It's such a shame as a decent swap site would be great.
Swapz It's okay but be aware !
So i have been on swapz for a fair number of years, the site itself is great.
its actually a lot of the people who use the site that you need to be aware of.
Dont get me wrong i have swapped a couple of cars etc over the years with no problems.
I have also been to meet various people to do a swap and drove straight home again due to other vehicle being not as described of having a problem.
I also rode a motorcycle 60 odd miles to meet some idiot who didn't bother to turn up.
I also wouldn't trust anyone that I'd never met to post items out.
Overall not a bad site but be aware of some people trying to offload crapy vehicles with problems.
Do the relevant checks
i would not waste my time with swapz
i would not waste my time with swapz, the support is useless, i have emailed them many times and they do not even reply to your messages.
do not waste any money on upgrades, they are there to take your money with no support at all, website like this is usually called scam
absolute rubbish
Ill repeat what others have said .swapz …
Ill repeat what others have said .swapz is a good site as long as you do youre research on other peoples itemson offer you cant go wrong . Obv if someone offers you a ten grand car with out a v5 for youre 1000 pound parcel it should be enough to say beware . Same goes with sending items . Id never post an item unless i have met the other person in the past or delt with them before . And if you get there and somethings not quite right with the item dont accept it and walk away . There is a lot of messers and scammers about these days but there everywere. Aslong as youve got youre eyes open 9times out 10 youll be able to see a ripoff a mile off. Ive dealt with a good hand full of people on swapz and my experience has been good maybe i have just been fortunate to deal with good people

SWAPZ SHOULD BE MOVED TO THE DARKNET
I have never come across a site that is run purely for scammers and conmen and women. I have swapped 2 items by post, sent my items but never received the swap. Went to meet to swap a car 3 times and nobody showed up, 4 time car was not even as the description and photo had been photoshopped. If you make a complaint to the Site they do nothing, don't even think anyone runs it. It is let to run on its own, thats why everyone on thier breaks the rules by using bad language, listing items as many times as they can get away with be someone has enough and reports them. Once a week they seem to have a binge and remove a few ads that break rules. Not hourly or three of four times daily as it should be. The site is very bad and thats down to the owners, someone should open up a rival site that is run properly and put this one out of business. All they are interested in is money from adverts and thier bumpz as there are too many of both. Shut it down I say......
Terrible
I swapped a PS4 game, never received it, Contacted customer service and after multiple emails to swapper and Swapz eventually got a reply saying not their problem report it to the Police.
dont be gullible
Fairly new to this site, but have been trading over Internet for sometime.
People will always try to get something for nothing or brag about a bargain they have scammed, which means somebody else has been shafted.
This is the case for monsters like Ebay as well as the smaller sites.
I do not think that major purchases, like cars should be sold this way, as there is very little comeback, particularly to the middleman who should be more responsible in vetting sellers.
Ok site, if you use it wisely!
Ive been using Swapz for a several months now, and have found that it is an ok site to use....if you use it wisely. There are pros and cons to it will I'll mention as briefly as possible.
As alot of the reviews say...there are a number of scammers and 'bad' swappers on the site.
USE COMMON SENSE!
If a deal seems too good to be true....it probably is! Also, if you cant meet face to face to do a swap and will be doing it through the post...again...use common sense. If the member you're swapping with is new to the site, doesn't have any ratings (IE: Feedback) and wants you to send your item first...well...lets just say I wouldn't.
There is an 'unwritten' rule that the swapper that has the lower rating sends the item 1st. Ive never had an issues with this as I have always dealt with decently rated swappers. I have never been ripped off or scammed. Dont get me wrong, some people have tried it on...but I never fell for it ( IE: sending a high priced item first, or doing a 300 mile round trip for a deal that seemed to good to be true ). The same really applies when buying anything from the site...if you cant do it face to face, make sure you send money in a way that you can claim it back if something goes wrong IE Paypal etc
Thats my main issue with the site ( hence the 3/5 rating ). There are a few other little niggles:
1: There are some members that just don't respond when you inquire about a swap. Fair enough they may not be interested, but a simple response of a 'no thanks' would be welcomed rather than being totally ignored. You can also sometimes get a less than polite response if someone doesn't like your swap proposal.
2: There are also a lot of listings that have been on there for a number of years...and the members haven't logged in since listing the item...so they really should implement a way of deleting those redundant listings.
3: Some people do sometimes over value their items, so coming up with a swap that you both seem as 'fair' can be hard work.
4. Dont expect your items to sell/swap quickly....listings ( at least mine anyway ) do tend to be up for a while before any interest is shown.
5. There are ALOT of cars and vehicles listed.
Those are just things to bear in mind. Also yes, as some reviews said the site isnt moderated as much as say eBay. But does it have to be? If you're sensible you shouldn't get scammed. Its no different than the Free Ad's paper we used to get...no one really moderated that!
So overall, so far my experience has been ok on the site. Ive had some good swaps and met some people I keep in touch with via the site in regards to future swaps.
If you use the site just remember, try to deal with people with a good rating and good communication. Be realistic about your swaps, and dont expect to be swapping left, right and center....swaps you're after can be few and far between. Also, simply DONT swap if you dont want to, or dont feel comfortable about the deal. Apart from that, list some stuff you want to get rid of and see what you can find :)
Be wary
My very first swap resulted in me losing the item I sent. I was trusting enough (stupid perhaps) to trust the person who wanted to swap. I sent my item and that was the last I saw of it or the item they said they wanted to swap. Numerous emails to them achieved nothing. I then sent an email to swapz to ask them to assist. I got no reply from swapz either.
If you are going to use this service my advice would be to deal in person not by mailing items.
